"This is the opposite of ice, this is Arizona." I have no idea how i got to your channel, but your videos are so well done and spontaneous! You have a lovely family. Cheers from Brazil.
Yeah, it's beautiful, but it's long. I thought we would stay somewhere along the way (and I'm not saying this in any derogatory or demeaning way), but there really wasn't all that much in between. I totally wanted to get out and run along the sand dunes, but that might have pushed some people over the edge... lol.
Wow I feel just like I was with you for the whole trip. (Still owe you that drink by the way). I can hardly wait until you get to watch videos of whole-cell patch clamping again. ;-) It will be just like being there.... Are we there yet?
I make the drive from the Backward, 1870's, Barbarian, Loser City Tucson Metropolitian area home to the Civilized San Diego for 4 day visits, my favorite part of the entire trip is the final 12 miles from the I-8/CA125 interchange in La Mesa to Chula Vista where I stay when I'm ho,e in the Civilized San Diego area. The very worst part of the trip each way is the final 12 miles to my home in Avra Valley which is the first 12 miles of my trip home because where I live the roads are the nations worst.
really enjoyed the scenery and commentary - thanks!

Thank you for this. I'm traveling to Tucson soon and thinking about making the drive to S.D. About 6.5 hours? Looks like a great drive.
