Tucson is surrounded by the Santa Catalina mountains, with Mount Lemmon staring down at you from 2,791m up. Lemmon makes up most of Tuscon's MTB and Cycling trail network which is maintained by TORCA.
With mild Winter temperatures and only 2 or 3 days of rain a month on average, Tucson is a perfect destination for some Fall/Winter sun. The rocky cactus lined MTB trails are some of the World's best and provide a unique riding experience. Be sure to put this place on your bucket list.

I have. Try to do the full Lemon Drop at least once a month. It's a real sufferfest!

Heck yes! Never ridden Lemon but hope to someday. The trails on other parts of the AZT are darn burley.

Thanks for highlighting Tucson. I don't make to Mount Lemmon often so I tend to do laps at Fantasy Island. Still good fun

Nice video, but it's pretty disingenuous to call it a 'Complete Guide'. Not even close.

Had a fantastic time on Bug Springs, on an excellent enduro bike rented through Tara's company, Homegrown MTB. It was a *great* trail, descending through three mountain environments, gorgeous, with some challenging but fun tech (I walked ~3 super steep sections) interspersed with flowy sections. (But be prepared for the HABs at the beginning, and half way through.) Will be visiting again!

In terms of being technical....i dont think the trail shown was. Hellrazor in Iddyild CA is super tech....theres a reason why most of the companies test on it.

La Milagrosa, by Jeff Lenosky. Maybe you've heard of him, I don't know, but either way there's a reason top MTB racers train in the area during the winter season and test prototype parts there. And no, it isn't because of "Fantasy Island," although that's fun to screw around on and bed in brakes (most product days are hosted there by the vendors). ruclips.net/video/-iroej7J6-k/видео.html

That is cartel territory. Riders be careful.

Cartel territory? Pretty sure Tucson is still land of the free, home of the brave - America.

Me? Kinda kidding.. I don't anticipate Tucson riders being endangered by the cartel. Mostly being silly though
