Super stoked to see this one!!! What a fun (and exhausting) day!! Hard to show how EPIC that ride is but you did a great job! Maybe the best bloopers ever?! Hilarious collection of grunts, oofs and aahhs!
Thanks Dan. As you know I was worried about doing this one justice, so I'm glad you thought it was good. Editing this one together made me really wanna get back there. Thanks again for making it all happen!
Nice one Sage! I think Bug Springs is where Black Bikes does a lot of his day to day riding... That section does seem a tad familiar to my peepers... Nice job on the vid as usual mate! But I would expect nothing less from you!! :D
The Lemmon drop...yikes! That snow and icy patches..dangerous by a ridge! Gorgeous view- but I would think you'd have to keep your eyes on the trail! Haha! You sound so happy!! Cool ride Sage! Bug Springs- you're going fast! Can't believe you guys went down that waterfall!! YIKES!! Lots of YIKES in this one! Bloopers!! The best! Lots of oos and ahs!! Haha!!
What a fantastic adventure Sage. I am flashed by this great landscape and the incredibly cool trails. You rode great and did the most difficult sections without any problems, really a fantastic performance mate. A little crash didn't stop you and I enjoyed every second of the awesome video. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work. Ride on and have a nice weekend🤙
That was awesome. I can tell you enjoyed it. Your enthusiasm shone through. It's good to make plenty of noise if there could be hikers on the trails ahead 👍🏻
Great riding and vid! I always enjoy those sections on trails that make you feel like you’re at a downhill park. I’m sure I would land in a 🌵 too if I was there lol.
Wow that waterfall drop looked intense!! You handled it like a champ 🙌🏽 Nice to see all the giant cacti towards the end - I was in AZ back in January visiting Sedona - we hiked next to a bunch of cacti but I'd be nervous biking at those speeds next to them, lol! 🌵
The terrain change for the top of Green Mountain with snow, to the desert in La Milagrosa was crazy. Thanks for watching Jeremy, I always love hearing from you.
This was a GREAT Video Sage...loved it ... you can really ride my brother ..keep giving advice none of us perfect ,the best of us fall... some of the terrain looked LOOSE... but definitely an awesome trail ..
Wow Sage the views are amazing!! Fast, fast, fast on the ridges. I was holding on with you!! Looks like a great place and definitely looked like you had a blast!
Great adventure Sage! I wouldn't have expected that snow and ice! Amazing riding and wonderfully produced images and commentary! Keep it coming my friend! Keep pushing!
Mannnn I’d be looking forward to this one - I explored Mt Lemmon on foot - car when I was there for spring training when I played minor league ball - still want to go back with the bike 🤘🤘🤘
Some great flowing speed on those trails, the snow section looked a bit of a drop! Awesome ride Sage, I remember spotting this one on your Strava, so pleased to see the video 😀
Yeah, I am running a bit behind on these videos, but each ride had over 150 video clips totaling 4 hrs of footage so it takes me a while to sort and produce them, lol. Thanks for watching Martin.
This is cool. I only ever saw Mount Lemmon on the paved Road from a Lionel Sanders video. Great view and super tricky and technical course. 💪26mi on that trail is awesome.
WOW Nice riding! You and Danny killed it. Found your channel when you rode my local trails (Ringwood) . Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Great Video Sage! Quite intimidating the snowy trails near the ridge, but at the same time, really amazing. Congrats for this great video. Greetings from Portugal. RIDE ON 🤙
@@TrailSage No need to thank bro. I really enjoyed this video, sincerely! The trails and landscapes are stunning, you rode them well (despite that crash) and you manage to do something that I really appreciate (and that I'm not very good in my own videos): Narrate the video with a proper and coherent story! RIDE ON 🤙
I realize im going to be in the minority here, but I just really dont get all the LOVE that bugs gets. its really NOT that great. I seriously think everyone that loses their minds over this, needs to get out and ride other terrain in other climates. I may be splitting hairs... but Bugs is a tech trail - not downhill. no chairlift, no jumps, etc. I get tired of hearing "tucsons best downhill, blah, blah, blah..." I have never once seen a 'downhill' bike on mt Lemmon. Bugs is a trail. a marginal one at that. not one ounce if disrespect meant - great vid and ride, fun to watch for sure.
Hey John, I agree for the most part. I actually had more fun on Green Mountain. In addition to the massive hike-a-bike there were a lot of hikers and runners on bugs too which kind of killed the flow. So if Bugs is not your cup of tea what would you recommend in the Tucson area? Dan and I plan on coming back next year (fingers crossed) and we love tech, the harder the better. Also thanks for the feedback.
@@TrailSage that's another Bugs downside - heavily trafficked. Frankly, I've just spent so many years riding desert tech. I'm just jaded... sharp stuff, loose dirt, jagged rocks, etc.. Nice riding! The snow, the views, the rocks, my what an experience! The walker Texas ranger blooper made me spit some coffee out, hahaha
lol thanks Gary. I think we just totally dated ourselves. #gettingold

I can't wait to go back myself. Would love to get the whole thing next time... fingers crossed the snow is melted.

Thanks Christoph. Dan and I had an absolute blast and can't wait to go back for more. I will try not to crash the next time ;)
Great job to the both of ya. Great work on the video. All the cacti made me nervous, almost as much as those ridges. What an adventure.
Thanks Tim. I def wished I had brought a extra pair of underwear in a few spots, lol. I'm already dreaming about the next time.
That set of trails are no joke. I have taken many falls and thankfully been able to ride away. Great job guys... 🤙
Thanks man. I hear there are some other ones farther out that are pretty tough as well. I may have to check them out the next time we are in AZ
That was awesome. I can tell you enjoyed it. Your enthusiasm shone through. It's good to make plenty of noise if there could be hikers on the trails ahead 👍🏻
I think hikers in the next township heard us coming, lol. Thanks for watching Mark, it means a lot.
Your blooper section is always the best! Your joy is so apparent!
Thanks Michelle. It was an amazing day for sure!
Beautiful! Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Amazing video as always 😊
Thanks Jill, you are much too kind.
Waterfall was sick! Both of you did an awesome job on it!
Thanks Chris. The video doesn't do it justice. That was insanely tough, especially coming so late in the ride when we were exhausted, lol.
Dude! Epic and beautiful! What a ride! You are a tech monster
Thanks Steven, it was a trip/ride of a lifetime.

That is awesome trail. It is good you have experience with the snow from up North. I would have turned around. That would spook me.

LEGIT!!! Nice riding brother. Question, how long have you been riding before you acquired such skill?
If by skill you mean falling gracefully about 14 years. Thanks for watching Simon.
@@TrailSage it does take 10 years or so to master the form :)
Looks more like hiking trails to me with those stair step climbs.
OMG right?! They were an absolute bare to climb but it's worth it.
When did you ride this? Curious when the snow was present.
Hey Ryan, we were there in March. If you contact the folks at Home Grown they can tell u what is rideable at any given time. Hope that helps
