you know what makes me happy? the fact that ann wanted to sing the chorus after stevie nicks decline the song, but her soprano voice didn’t fit it 30 some years ago (so it was always nancy’s song), but now going back on tour, their voices matured and they changed the key and tempo to fit ann singing the chorus, and it’s a beautiful tune to hear live.

Time and relationships, the most precious things we have. Cherish them both. One of my favorites since I was a kid, I finally got to see Heart right before they split. Was shocked to learn of the split a few months later. So glad they’re able to come back together.

I saw them 4 times in the 80's. The first time I saw them they opened for Kansas, the main reason I went to the concert (I drove 60 miles to see them). I was a huge Kansas fan, but after about 4 songs from Kansas, I left. Heart blew them away!

Good thing they reconcile. They're such good singers even though their vocal power has changed. Time catched up with these wonderful ladies but their music have touched millions in their more than half century in the music industry.

Suzanne Gleeson I think Ann sings the line @5:27 that Nancy sings on record, it’s the only difference I hear.
Suzanne Gleeson Ann sang lead at one point but it’s not a big deal. May have been better for her vocally. Doesn’t change the beauty of this song at all. Love these ladies. ❤️❤️
@@anitabreakone Wasn't trying to change anything. I thought it was a novel change up. Having seen them 28 times already, I caught it almost immediately when the exchanges started and smiled. It was great to see that connection once again between their voices and even the change-up didn't change the essential poetry of the song. Just something I pointed out and thought it to be a sweet thing to hear, and to see.

Of course they don't. Ann is 68 and Nancy is 65. They released that tune 34 years ago. So basically half the age they are now.

Nancy is 65 and Ann is 69 so i commend them for performing knowing they are missing notes and going off key. They still are entertaining to me but they do struggle through this one.

They have a generic band backing up for all the acts. And its a charity event, so its all gratis or low pay. So, no, you aren't going to get a crack performance.

After I calmed them down, they asked if you could please upload a recent live performance of yours when you were at the same age after a three year estrangement playing your biggest gig (backed by a strange band that’d been hurriedly thrown together) in the biggest media market? They, and others, want to see your performance to they too can learn about real talent and professionalism!

I'm sure this tour is for $$....but my favorite is Love Alive so I need to go. Got my Tix's for the Seattle gig. Heart was my first concert in 1978 and I love the ladies. Didn't like the 80's shift to corporate jam....but it would appear they are keeping to their roots somewhat.

I’m sorry but the band sounded off during “These Dreams”, I Guess maybe there were others playing aside from their own band members. Heart is pretty much my favorite band of all time so I’m not trying to hate in them. Just not sure if it’s my hearing or if they really were off somewhat?!

Chorus vocals are a bit flat, but it's great to see them together!
As far as the sound, to me it looks like an audience member shot this video. The sound is just being picked up by the recording device's built-in mic -- there's no direct patch to the sound board. No wonder half the band is inaudible and the backup singers sound terrible. If this was a professional video production, the producers should get a refund. That said, Heart is always my favorite, even when the sound quality isn't top-notch.
It's also just a remix of the original with a different musical arrangement. I prefer the original version. Just my preference, but I still think they sound good.

Saw them last night in Nobelsville Indiana, Was not that happy with them as they played to many cover songs from other bands instead of ALL of their hit classics like Dreamboat Annie, There's The Girl , ETC.....

The problem with Heart is when the original musicians from the band started to leave, the sound changed completely and they went from a rock band to a radio friendly ordinary group of people and it was never the same after that. It all started when their original guitarist Roger Fisher left after the ''Dog and Butterfly'' album in 1978, and then bassist Steve Fossen and drummer Michael Derosier both left after their sixth album ''Private Audition'' in 1982. Sad because they were a great rock band, but when the original line up started to fall apart, it changed the sound completely, they went from ''Crazy on you'' and ''Barracuda'' to ''These Dreams'' and ''All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You'' which wasn't even written by the band. Where was the real Heart gone to ? Nah, to me, Heart doesn't exist anymore, it's just two women pretending to rock but it's just for business and money and that's it, they just might as well bury Heart and go on as Ann & Nancy Wilson.
Roger Fisher for me was the heart sound! Too bad he fell in love with Nancy(though I don't blame him) and ruined it all!
@@vracan It isn't him that ruined it all, it's his brother Michael who was the manager of the band and was Ann's boyfriend, he met another woman and fell in love with her so Ann found out and both brothers were fired from the band. It was hard for Nancy and Roger though they agreed to go their seperate ways but still it was a hard move. You should never mix work and love, they don't get along very well.

But lets be real, compared to the Crap on the charts today, that is in No Way deserving of being called music by any means, I'd rather listen to Nails on a Chalk Board instead of the stuff being played to date. No thank you! And do you actually think Heart is the only band who has gone thru a tiff, then made up and toured again! Get off their backs. At least they still have the talents to get out there and sing, and play. How many 60yr olds do you know who can still blow into a flute without turning Blue and passing out!

Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the soup. For crying out loud this band is off, if the band can't get it's shit together enough to be in correct time & tempo, just let them sing, period. I've seen Heart tons of times throughout the years whether it was with a band, accapella, with guest musicians joining for a song etc etc these women are seasoned professionals & have navigated their way thru most every scenario, but when you have a crap house band And poor sound engineering and too many ppl on stage that's just too much. Whoever's bright idea this was, scale it the hell down, slap some sense into the the sound person & just let the girls sing

Sassafras 2018 😢 For me this is everything!!! There is love or they wouldn’t be doing this. They each can be fine on their own, and we’ve seen that. So for whatever reason they are back together, I’m thankful. Whether they are realizing the true bond they have or performing for their fans, I see nothing but love from both when they sing. Just enjoy ❤️❤️

After all of the interviews, Ann’s public bashing of Heart and Nancy’s outcry for their lack of connection, I was hoping to see a gesture just to acknowledge the difficulty of the last couple of years (not only for the sisters but for the diehard fans who had true concern about them/sisterhood/the band). Nothing. The quote from Nancy’s Oct2 interview sticks with me: Nancy said: "I've been sort of [reaching out to Ann] for a while, but she was kind of busy and, I think, scared to talk. And I kind of said, 'I'm not ever gonna confront you about anything, but there is this huge offer on the table, so we should talk - just the two of us.'” 💰
