MusicWorks - Grade 2
Heralded by a fanfare-like figure for trumpets in the first strain, here is an appealing German-style march solidly scored for young players. Low brass take the lead on the second strain, followed by a contrasting lyrical section featuring the woodwinds. The full ensemble brings us to a rousing finish in this terrific-sounding march. (This is a nice follow-up to Johnnie's earlier “international” marches St. Petersburg March, New Forest March and The Crown of Castile.)

I played this in my first ever honors band performance in sixth grade
I play trumpet I really like the beginning because of the trumpets
I’m crash in this for a performance. You can hear me!
wow!
I love this
Brass is so fun with this piece
Fine! Greetings from Germany!
This reminds me of New Forest March for some reason
That's because both New Forest March and Brandenburg Gate were made by Johnnie Vinson. Both are amazing but I like Brandenburg more because low brass has melody, and in the end the Euphoniums have melody with the Clarinets.
Great Job!
Wonderful
alto saxophone part go hard ong
Is this really level 2 It feels more like level 2.5 or maybe even 3
The saxophone and horn part in m40 is so hard! I have to practice it every day!
Recommend speed: 1.25
1.75 sounds like the entertainer + the can can
This reminds me of a 2001:March odyssey
I like this over all but I really wouldn’t agree it to be a grade 2 music 🤷🏾♀️
Although it is easy some rhythms aren’t “Grade 1 certified”
Oscat Hinojosa yea I get what u saying
a little too proud but fair enough
