Im one month in and I LOVE it. I have 115 braids mine are what I would call medium sized. I did them myself it took me 3 days and I plan on keeping them in for 3 months for growth. They hit the top of my shoulders now. When I take them down I’ll get the permanent braids locs alittle smaller. Im tired of hair😂I’m tired of weave, wigs, flatironing auntie just tired I’m 41😂

do you know how badly i want to punch the air??? i have been trying to get microlocs since February. i have actually had 1.5 installs using the twist method an took them out when they did not look the way i wanted them to. im trying to go for sisterlocs with out the interlocking the whole head look, only to watch this video and find out what i need is braidlocs not twistlocs. I love you for that comment thank you!!!!

Hi! Yes you can do the interlocking at the first retie. You would want to just be sure to start the braid closer to the scalp so its fresh

How do you base your determine on which method is best for the client, for either twist or braid?

What would you recommend for a client that has had twist locs for 6 months, interlocked roots for the past 6 months + they want to extend their hair.
Would you have them take everything down, including the interlocks and start fresh? Add hair past the interlocked roots? Crochet the hair at the root and braid past the interlocs?
So it would depend on the condition of the hair. Initially I would say start fresh because sometimes the crocheted hair can be to heavy and cause breakage.

Hi! I soak the hair in hot water. Frizz is inevitable. It can be toned down but braiding the hair down at night. the frizz has a life of its own
After letting the hair soak in hot water do you let it air dry? And why do we need to let it soak in hot water? 😊

Im not sure how it would do on asian hair. I think there would be a fair amount of slippage. I think it would be harder to don it yourself

Yes.. the locing process might jus take a little longer

Daily she will hydrate them (mist ) with water then seal with oil. At night she will twist or braid them down

This took about 15hrs total

It depends but normally a total of 12 hours

So if she was using braiding hair, I would say it’s not permanent although you can leave it for months - but in my professional opinion, i would go up to 4 months with braiding hair & thats bc it probably wouldn’t long due to our wash days
But human hair would be the best and safest way to go for a permanent loc install 🙌🏾

This hair is intended to be permanent. It locs with the clients hair.

These locs are intended to bepermanent. They are done with human hair. However, just like any other locs, with conditioner and water they can be combed out.
