The engagement that Africa needs is fudamentally different from what the collective colonial west can offer. I hope that Africa will utilize its relations with China the right way.

The BRICS summit in South Africa which is scheduled for August will be held in Johannesburg not Cape Town

One-on-one meetings provide a platform for inviting African leaders to engage in deep and meaningful dialogues. Rather than inviting all 54 African presidents and allocating limited time for each, this approach prioritizes quality over quantity. African leaders seek substantive engagements that can result in mutually beneficial outcomes. By individually inviting them, China demonstrates understanding and respect. Furthermore, institutions like the New Development Bank offer African countries lower interest rates, better terms, and loans without the constraints imposed by alternatives such as the International Monetary Fund and World Bank. This approach acknowledges the unique needs and aspirations of African nations and fosters a spirit of cooperation and partnership.

China and Africa for ever. China is in to do business but not forgetting to respect Africa. Mutual respect is essential for co-existence and even in business between a rich and a poor man. Africa also awaits win, win partnership and industrialization, and that is what china understands. If China embraces this expectations of the Africans, then what else are both partners waiting for. Both can keep their cultures and live in peace for ever and ever. What China must become aware of is not to suck Africa and pass it over to the EU and the West as they did, thus subjugating Africa and leaving her in abject poverty. Nonetheless, Africa must not fold her arms and always waiting for assistance from China.

The idea that Africa is disadvantaged to be not a unique block but several countries is misleading. The will and the discipline of that will of the parts in converging can mean the best for the whole. Freedom that arouses the available energies channel these energies in order to avoid their dispersion in an atmosphere of freedom that allows people to dare because they are convinced that they can because they are valued, respected and they have the means to dare. Each nation can focus on realizing freedom for all and consider that the well-being of an African is a sacred duty.

If our leaders are not greedy and corrupt they cant also have a firm stand on how they would like to articulate their issue. They are divided and not interested with the concerns for their countries/people thats why they are not respected by the foreign countries whom they borrow from. Africa is rich with all resources hence our bargaining power.
