I fixed my win 11 steam vr issues. I just wanted to share my very recent frustrating experience with using vr games on windows 11. I have a hp reverb G2 and a very powerful brand new gaming Pc with 12th gen i7 cpu and rtx3080 gpu. Benchmarks show this machine is UFO in all categories and should run pretty much every game at full settings without a glitch. However my windows machine ran vr games like a dog. I read lots of posts suggesting that steam vr had become very compromised by windows 11. I had crashes, low performance and hopeless vr experience.
I reluctantly decided to take the inconvenience hit and go back to a clean install of windows 10. I can report this has fixed it all and games are running very smoothly at high frame rates and without issues. Really glad I took the hit. And I’ve stopped windows updates so it won’t reinstall Windows 11. Hope this helps some folks out there. Cheers

i have an issue. i really want to enjot the feature that is steam vr. but it seems that everytime i finish dealing with some other problem, something else shows up. thats tech for you. anyhow, everytime it says that i need to reboot my headseat. when i do it says something like: service error: semget. then it says a ton of nonsense nobody can understand, and shuts itself down. ive been raging over this for a couple hours now, and was wondering if you could help me resolve the problem please.

Sweet but i cant get my Dashboard working i have almost tried everything the only way i Can get it to work is i go to the steam vr home press view game and another way is i press the buy button in Any vr game so pls help
my addons is blocked i cant launch it on pico 4
this works for some people but not all. what i had to do was this.
all you have to do is reboot your vr headset and pc.
then dont open anything on the your quest if you are using it.
take a cable and plug it up to your quest and pc.
then open the oclues app and you want to open steam vr in it.
then get out of ever thing and open virtual desktop then open steam vr in it.
and that should have done it. hope this helps.

Can you do a video on steamvr error 201 plz literally every vr game crashes after a few minutes of playing now. What happens is my steam vr screen freezes on my index and my pc itself us fine i can move my mouse and everything but cant click the menu button or anything

@@C3mocuk have a good time, but my solutions: download a old version of steamvr, Join the network/internet of the pico VR in your desktop after connect, I think Just this Will works

I have steam failed error 307. On Linux. Know who can help? Have replaced operating system and reinstalled steam. Latest nvidia driver. Nothing else running. Can play games but not in vr, since can't run steamvr.
