right now im loving Beanstalker. only problem is i get the steam vr fail 203 error a lot with it. but this dosent hapen with other games so its got to be something between how the game interacts with steam vr. but im guna try some of theses fixes
Is this a solution to The VRLink Driver encountered a fatal error. ERROR: failed to create/reset encode in videoamfenc::SubmitFrame()? BTW I've tried reinstalling Steam and VRsteam and that hasn't appeared to work.
The combination of deleting the config file & setting the graphic GPU Performance controll off solved my problem in playing Skyrim VR with 400 mods. Thanks man!!

You will need to take the steamapps folder and copy it to another place. “Move the subfolder /steamapps/ in a safe place before uninstalling Steam, then do the following steps: Uninstall Steam Reinstall Steam Launch Steam Exit Steam Move the content of your /steamapps/ backup to the new /steamapps/ subfolder Relaunch Steam At this point Steam should find all games without any other action; in the worst case, where Steam does not detect some games as installed, just reinstall them and the game will be downloaded and ready in few seconds/minutes because it only need to validate the game content cache.”

Steam is really just a launcher. It launches your games. Your games aren't Steam itself lmao.

Other option is to uninstall steam vr. And manually delete all the remaining files and install it once more
