Can you please try Ice or Tiger Lake iGPUs? The UHD 620 on 8th Gen outputs 384GFLOPS while the "G7" 96EU on 10th/11th Gen outputs 1,075-1,700 GFLOPS. 300-500% performance difference is pretty huge IMO. Same with streaming, the absolute bare minimum needed is a lot less than most people would think. That said if you want an enjoyable experience minimum spec or better is the way to go.
Does VR Work On A 1030 Graphics Card?
This is the 1st video I watched from the channel its incredible I'll have 2 subscribe right away
make sure you change steamvr resolution too along with fsr!
Also it seems you tested "low end VR" on a GTX 760 last year which outputs ~2,400 GFLOPS so the latest Intel "Xe G7" iGPUs will likely net you 35% less FPS or lower resolution.
I wonder if using graphics like mx350 (which still doesn't support vr) would allow us to run games like vr chat and Minecraft
Hey i have a question mysticle when i load steamVR it’s puts me on the galaxy place but doesn’t load all the way (I’m using virtual desktop)
I understand tat gaming is a no no, but what about making it a remote VR working rig? maybe just regular use for productivity? ty for taking a look
ryzen 3 2200g's vega 8 actually works. it isn't like perfect 90fps 4k or something but you can definetly experience most big pcvr titles like half life alyx and still have fun
this would be great for game development ( so you don't have to make a quest build everytime you wanna test something )
I HAVE A QUESTION!!! if airlink doesn´t work on that pc, how did you connect the headset on steamVR
How did your laptop let you play even tho it said that it doesn't work also when I try to connect my quest 2 to the laptop I have tried both wired and wireless it doesn't work

I was thinking if it was possible to play job simulator with oculus on intel uhd 600 laptop but would it work?
hey! it takes several relaunches for some vr games to load, but also try this on windows 11 and see if that changes anything?
So, I missed a step there, when I try to connect the Oculus Quest 2 to my laptop, it straight out gives me an error that my graphics card will not allow it to connect. What are the steps to bypass that and test to see how well it works? What am I missing?
I have a gaming laptop, which does have the requirements for VR, and I don’t know if I should try it or not
You've sent me down a rabbit hole with the FSR stuff

I just read that the new Samsung tablet 12.1 inch has more graphical power than ",most laptops"??
Can't see it... but is it possible a mobile device could work?

Hello, will the test be a laptop with an integrated Radeon 760M or 780M GPU with Quest 2 connected and a VRChat game running?
Do you think I could run it on a Ryzen 5 4600 g it has Vega 7 graphics I have all the parts to build my pc ordered and on the way but I have to wait a month before I can get a dedicated gpu
I have a problem with the connection of my quest 2 to my laptop (hp victus, rtx 3060, ryzen 5800H, 16gb ram, 1000gb ssd). I've tried to connect it with a usb 2.0 cable to my brothers laptop and it worked perfectly but if I try to connect it to my laptop it doesn't quite work. If I open a game I can see my controllers and the video output of my quest on my laptop but if I look inside my quest 2 it's just loading...
my computer is nvidia gtx 740 and intel i5 can steam vr be used by forcing my pc and with the oculus link cable?
what setting did you use for virtual desktop
Now I can't stop thinking about what Eddie is thinking lol
Thanks! can you update this video but using FSR3 ?
can you make a video on playing a game with virtual desktop on windows 10. I just wanna see how it runs
Great video, I wanna do this with my Nvidia Optimus laptop but I cant get it to work at all because the HDMI port is connected to the iGPU instead of the dGPU... so the oculus software doesnt detect the headset as being connected. :)
hi there, if you are reading this, I could use some help with my setup. I have an Asus Vivobook 14, with 20gb of ram, i meet all of the minimum requirements to play Boneworks, H3VR, Half Life Alyx, and most other games too, except for my dedicated video ram. I have only 512mb, and the only way to increase that would be to get an external gpu. would this video work for me? at all? i really want to play boneworks with my quest 2 headset, but need a good enough pc for it.
Hey mysticle I was wondering if you could make a video about proving performance in alyx. I have a 1650super with a pretty heavy oc and I can get a locked 90fps but only at 60% resolution.
How do I start running steam vr if I'm not using virtual desktop? All I want to do is get my headset to run steam vr.
