Creating the Gwendy Attack Effect for Small Soldiers

For Joe Dante’s 1998 film, Small Soldiers, Stan Winston Studio designed and built both the Commando Elite soldiers and the alien Gorgonites, all of which were realized as articulated puppets.
In total, #SmallSoldiers featured fourteen distinct characters: seven types of Gorgonite, six different Commandos, and there was also a parody of the Barbie and Sindy dolls (Sindy was Britian's rival to Barbie): a Gwendy fashion doll.
In this Small Soldiers behind the scenes video, mechanical designer Christian Colquhoun describes how he worked on a particular technique for The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and used it for the Gwendy attack effect in Small Soldiers.

Toy Soldiers. I will never forget watching that film when I was younger. I was always marvelled by just how... realistic the toys were in their movements.
To this day I still want to learn more of how the movie was made in its full depth.
Because of that back then, it made me want actual toys of the characters because of the articulation and the unique cool story of it all.
Alas, I never saw any merchandise.
Did anyone else?

I think the only thing that came out were two videogames (gameboy and PS1), but no action figures that I could find, to my chagrin.

There was toys but today there’s people out there that have made really accurate replicas of the movie figures and boxes but they aren’t cheap at all because they aren’t mass produced and they’re hand painted. Be prepared to spend over a grand for one if you want a really good painter.
