I'd split the gold among the top 3.
First of all Fred Kerley's foot obviously crossed the kine first, not Kishane Thompson's. Secondly, that doesn't matter...never has, never will. Lyle's beat them both
@2:28 she said “it’s not about any part of the body ? However, the torso is part of the body lol, she meant to say the race win is not determined by the appendages crossing the line before the torso😀
Jamaica time done. 🇱🇨
DON'T GET OUT OF BED, DREAM ON POPS
You are clearly not Jamaican and furthermore understand nothing about Jamaica's track and field program, so hush.
Great message!; I wonder if he's on medication to treat any of his anxiety or depression? I'd Big curious to know what his daily routine is.
I saw a woman running a race with several others a few years ago in the olympics and as she was running she decided to leap to the finnish line crushing everyones dreams with that leap and winning a gold medal at that. I guess the torso is a part of the hand now, also feet do the actual running and if Im wrong try running without them.
That was Miller Uebo falling/diving to beat Allison Felix in the open 400m Olympics. Her "torso" still crossed before Felix. I didn't like it at all but she was awarded gold rightfully so. Footage shows her torso crossing prior to AF...end of debate. Same here. Accept it or not.
I remember that, she just dived for the line.
well explained, thank you.
Great video! Great explanation
Ppl are only mad because nobody knew the rule.. Now we do.. Big ups to Noah 💪🏾
Can we get a photo from the inside lane aiming towards the outside lane ?
I thought it was suspect. Thanks for explanation, lets hope these winners knew the RULES! What a blow to Thompson, never underestimate your opponet!
Thompson knows why he came second. It's the fans who don't understand.
Very well explained 🎉❤
That rule is in place so that people can't just reach out their arms to the finish line, Lyles won, end of story
That was not Thompson's show, he was wearing white shoes not orange!
5/1000th of a second. Does that exist? Seems like a dead heat to me.
Exactly
@@carlward8647 in horse racing that would be a deadheat
It’s insanely close, but a winner is determined using fractions of a second. Same for swimming.
Lyles foot actually hit the line first.
Who cares. A foot has nothing to do with finish.
@@Jed-pk6zg I know that idiot, I’m telling these morons here.
Thorough explanation.
Kishane Thompson
In foreground extraction the algorithms naturally takes pixels from reprojections in the lens onto the image sensor the closer an object is to the lens the algorithm will take pixels as the front the farther away from the lens the algorithm will think this is the background even background saturation knows who the winner is
Kishane's finishing is pretty weak; he chills before reaching the finish line, thinking he's already won. Remember, you're not the winner until you actually win.
Were you on the track beside the runners???????
Same thing I said, he probably slowed down like he has been doing throughout his season's preparation.
I think Nyles capitalized on this and put in a third gear making sure to go through the line intensely. Kishane couldn't have seen him coming because he wasn't in any of the lanes close to him.
Lyle's metres acceleration is the best in his career so far. I guess he planned for this all his life.
@@sothisremindsmeof.....1179😂😂😂😂 he didn't slow down at all
@@sothisremindsmeof.....1179 That's spot on, Noah's been watching him closely and cleverly tricked obliq, which made kishane feel at ease. Noah's game plan was really smart. 🙌
@@jay3414 he sorta admitted it in his interview, go check it out
Only thing matters is the chest. That's why close racers always lean
Are you trying to say that thompson foot reached over the line first but the system prefer to use the chest for recording purposes and that the foot is not counted and that after the foot reached over the line first the thompson stopped thereby waiting for the chest of noel because that is what the machine preferred to record that part of the body first.....this is so strange...one love
Well explained
Kishane Thompson's foot DID NOT cross the line first. Neither his foot nor his torso crossed first. Fred Kerley's foot crossed first. But at the line, Lyle's torso/body was several inches ahead of everyone else's.
I have the pic that shows Lyle's foot touched the white line first. On top of that, the "torso" looks in front of all the rest. This lady and her headline are biased and mistepresenting(I am not from USA, and could care less). In any case, and as a mother, I think they were tied and would have given them 2 gold medals.
The person whose kegs crossed the finishing line first is definitely the winner without any flimsy explanation. 😢
Definitely wrong.
TRACK 101 TORSO WINS. why do you think they all lean forward at the line? Because they know the rules.
You are obviously new to track and field. Sit this one out.
Isnt it fun to make up the rules? Won't work here though.
@@rolandmarkland6844
🤣🤣🤣 right!
@@rolandmarkland6844people join in not knowing the rules and think they have a general understanding when they don't. When they explained it, then torso wins simple as that
The host is misleading people because is third person's leg not Thompson
Congratulations bro
That was not Thompson's foot. Look at the color of their shoes. Also, sprinters dive head first . Have you ever seen a sprinter doing high kick first at the line?
Bunch of sore losers my God. He got a silver medal be happy!
@@richardmorris7063Jamaica is embarrassing themselves
Thanks for explaining because as Bob Marley say They got so much things to say poor people always have something to say
Lyles the world favourite in the betting he knew odds on him 1/ 2 🇯🇲 in reality 2/ 1
