Thank you so much. This tragedy is pulling us even closer together. It is so difficult to hear my mother weep for her son. I know that hundreds of families are going through the same sadness. I really hope that something good is going to come out of this tragedy. Changes have to be made within the Coast Guard and Sulpicio Lines. Search and Rescue was way too slow. We have no choice but to carry on with our lives yet carrying Domino in our hearts, never forgetting that each day is a gift.
My thanks to Tommy Osmena and Mr. Rama for taking care of the families of the victim. You stepped in when Sulpicio Lines did not know how to handle the family inquiries about their loved ones. You fed them and gave them a place to stay so they can find out if their loved ones survived or was found. All they needed was someone who could sympathize with them, comfort them, pray with them, reassure them that whatever the outcome would be, that there are people who truly care. Kudos to you guys.
I am so glad that you survived the harrowing experience. You can do all those who have died a favor by telling the real story. Please go to the hearings, tell the truth about the mistakes made. Of how the ballast was not filled, of how the captain made the decision to sail even though he knew that the path to Cebu in the Romblon area already was on Signal #3, tell them how the captain called abandon ship too late. Those lives would have been lost in vain if you don't tell the truth. Please!!
i will translate it the survivor said he was in oder deck of a ship he heard a noise inside the ship he found a life boat and now 23 survive in the ship
I feel for you Izzy515 and nopolian18, my brother is still missing.. i feel like I am floating in oblivion, still hoping to hear his voice on the phone, crying; praying that we will find him. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Take care...
To the survivors, please make sure that Sulpicio takes care of your counseling needs. For what you have gone through you will need to talk to a professional because Post Traumatic Syndrome will slowly creep in to your thoughts and lives. Make sure that you go to a doctor, have Sulpicio pay for it and all the time that you are not working due to this tragedy. Take care of yourselves.. Be the voice of those who were lost at sea and the dead. Tell the world that Sulpicio cant do this again!!!
Many are dead, many are still missing like my brother Domino Omega, please don't let this happen again, each and everyone of those lives lost were so precious. Please make it known that Sulpicio Lines is accountable for all those lives. We cannot allow them to sail until their ships are seaworthy, until they train their crew the proper emergency procedures, upgrade the life jackets that can save peoples lives. The rescue operations has to be better than how it was handled during this tragedy.
The Ship Was Tilting To One Side, And So Many People Were Wearing Life Jackets. Winds Waves, And Rain And Waves Are Strong. And When The Ship Started To Tilt That Was The Time Some Of Us Jumped From The Ship.
One of the survivor is my co worker upon knowing all what happen during that accident its very traggic. At mas marami sya kwento kung ano talaga nangyari from preparation hanggang sa mga na tulongn nya kailan ang timing ng pag talon at ang pagsampa nya sa life raft
this should be a reason to all Philippines maritime to be strict in implementing the dos and dont's in every vessel of the Philippines. every vessel should be check especially the life rafts and life jackets expiration.if possible they should have also lifeboat and tenders and also fast rescue boats. i am working in a international cruise ship every month we have our emergency drill. i hope it will also be implemented here in Philippines...
Aminin natin n ang mga barko natin ay sinalumang style. Kapag state of the art ang barko natin kaya nya ang mga bagyo.
