The man, the myth and the legend, all in one, Joe is the ultimate entertainer in my humble opinion!

If joe had been born fifty years before he surely would have been on the music halls and what a good turn he would have been ,I’ve loved his music since 1961 when I was fourteen 😀

The first one I heard sing this song is Herman and the Hermits.

Herman's Hermits had a good guitarist, but Joe Brown just tears it up with his guitar solo here! Love it!

Herman's Hermits had the late, great Derek Leckenby, who died in 1994. He was widely hailed as a virtuoso by his peers. But so is Joe Brown. Two of the best.

Hard to believe but this guy had a hit with this song in 1961!

    • @anthonymills1292

It wasn't a hit, it was the B side of a song that didn't chart. It should have been a hit though.

Stolen by none other than the worst of the British Invasion, Hermans Hermits! This should be the better remembered version.

He did not sing one verse or two verses. He sang the chorus twice.

Had the say experience at the classics. NO clapping and certainly not singing along.
