The lyrics are actually "controlling 935" as in Research Group 935, and "prayers won't help you now". This song was recorded for the Zombies map Call of the Dead with George A. Romero, Robert Englund, Michael Rooker, Danny Trejo, and Sarah Michelle Gellar. It was written and recorded in just 4 days during Nightmare touring and it was the first song with Arin Ilejay on drums. It's my 2nd favorite behind M.I.A.
@@brandonneemann7883 I mean, thematically it fits the overall story, but Treyarch wanted it specifically for Call of the Dead and didn't know how much of that script was in it until the song was written, so both are true in a sense.

If you didn't know Gibby, M. Shadows was actually a playable character in Black Ops 4 for the Battle Royale and Multiplayer. Mad Hatter is the song for Black Ops 4 which you reacted to.

Definitely one of my fav A7X songs! Lol love you Gibby, keep it up with these killer reactions! \m/

I listened to it one time and I put the song on my iTunes immediately lol. It's definitely one of my favorite tracks by A7X. I put it second behind Shepherd of Fire
This song is a masterclass in integrating a video games soundtrack into your music without too much or too litte. It was so cold to just let the piano play for several measures. And, that guitar riff to match it. FIRE
This was the moment in the band where they found drummer Arin Illejay after the Rev passed away, so he took over as an introduction and what a song to do it with. The piano for this song was contrasted by the zombie music in the black ops games.
The piano was the call of duty zombies menu theme, this song has alot to do with the lore of cod zombies and was a easter egg song for the Call of The Dead map in black ops 1 zombies!
this is one of their best songs imo. the theme and tone is so on point and the instruments are incredible. shadows pops off with power in this song too
@@unknowngamer9566 I dunno, Exist and the whole The Stage album was amazing and my number 2 album from Avenged Sevenfold. The FACT you as a christian respect other faiths. Dude you're a true christian which is pretty damn rare, universal love brotha! May the consiousness that nakes up whomever is or whatever is creation bless ya man.
This song was actually based on Zombies .. "As I damn the dead I'm trying to survive".. trying to stay alive... and "I'll control the world one person at a time" - which means as the virus spreads when a zombie bites or scratches a human, they turn..so.. ONE PERSON AT A TIME... interesting, eh? :)
The chorus was the call of duty blackout end theme and the opening was the drop sequence out of the plane. As well the piano was the zombies theme. Best band ever matched with an amazing game. I was in heaven lol landing at the asylum almost every game to turn on this song as the Easter egg. LOVE IT
The piano part that you said sounds like the Halloween songs is called “Damned” by Kevin Sherwood. It’s an original song he made for Treyarch to use as the Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies mode menu music. And ever since then it’s been basically considered to be THE song for cod zombies. Since then it’s been in every cod black ops zombies mode in some version one or the other. And yes, the original track did actually sample the Halloween main theme as inspiration for the background piano. It’s my favorite song to play on the piano because I’m not very good at all but i can play it perfectly and it’s apparently a pretty confusing song to figure out for people and it sounds so good. And the sample A7X used for this song is just awesome especially what they added to it
Those weren't whammy bar spots that's what's called a bend where you take your finger and push the string up or down, whichever. Alot of players spend years perfecting their bends and vibratos, Mine has changed alot over the years. My personal favorite I discovered onmy on is to bend the string into the next one and I'm coming back down I slide back 1 or 2 frets and vibrato the string. Just my personal favorite I use it in all of my full recordings not my RUclips stuff my youtube stuff is just ideas i hope someone will add to.
They lyrics "The endless possibilities controlling every fight" I believe are incorrect. If I'm hearing it correctly it's "the endless possibilities controlling 935." Which refers to Group 935, back in 1945 in Germany they were experimenting with element 115 to create weapons and human and animal zombie experiments with this element. So I believe those are the real lyrics referring to this zombie experiment.
I love the piano I think it was the main screen music theme for the original zombie map from black ops 1 or 2 I don't remember, it was the map with the theater in it. I stopped playing COD after Black Ops 2 it's just not the same anymore I did play WW2 but that's it. I've had so many good memories playing these games with friends, getting across map tomahawks haha I was the douche always using ballistic knives and melee only xD so much fun
Even though Danger Line is my favorite A7X song, this one is the one that I find the most fun instrumentally. Especially the ending part with that easy yet fun guitar riff, and with the drums going on the double kicks and the ride cymbal.
My man, if you loved this then you reaaaally have to listen to Remenissions from A7X! It's from their second album and it's one of the heaviest songs they've ever written. I guarantee you'll enjoy it!
