hell yes Need for Speed Most Wanted! classic track and so good. I don’t listen to much Avenged Sevenfold but this is my favourite track by them. Love the breakdown, drums and Shadow’s haunting vocals towards the end.
this is what Shadows has to say about Blinded in Chains- "Blinded in Chain has to do with all of our political parties always fighting over little thing and never really coming together for a common good. Everyone knows its unproductive, but we all continue to support that system of government. It also is a tribute on how this country was started and how we became what we are, our characteristics and our flaws, and how I feel some of our flaws are what makes the USA great."
I absolutely love M. Shadows. Anyone who knows me knows that A7x is my ALL TIME favorite band and I'd probably die if I was brought in stage to play a song. I'd probably wanna play Sidewinder. My FAVORITE song of all time
A7X aren't a Christian band in the strictest sense, but their first three albums were heavily influenced from the Bible and biblical themes. A good example is "The Wicked End" from City of Evil and "Chapter Four" from Waking the Fallen to name only a couple. But no they're not a Christian band, just draw influence from the Bible. Speaking of which, I definitely recommend "Bat Country" from City of Evil but the lyric version since the video version cuts a good two minutes from the song.
This song along with Dusturbed's Decadence and Skinnyman's jam made it feel like you really were cruising at 300kph on the open road in Need For Speed Most Wanted. For a game that came out in the early 2000s, that's top tier
Okay this means war is good.. “good” not a song that will keep him coming . Also doesn’t seem like Metallica is the vibe he’s going for considering he never listens to them
"Fermi Paradox" and "trashed and scattered" are my 2 favorites by Avenged! You would love both of them! Can't wait til you get to them! So glad you finally got to hear Blinded! It's such an amazing song!!! God Bless and have a happy new year!!!
This brings back so many good memories playing one of the best Need For speed titles and that's Most wanted 8:58 and here she comes that Beautiful Lexus
Afterlife (I won't see you tonight не в счёт), но у них также и работы с более глубоким смыслом есть, как в этом видео, например. Потому они мне и нравятся.
"The decisions you have made will leave you empty" Wow that's deep. Think about that for a minute. Brilliant line Matt. Those instruntals are legendary and what makes this album close to perfection in metal as you are going to get. Lines like that in it....man come on. This is where it's at! The Rev was notorious for making sure he got drum tracks recorded in one take. He went to great lengths to do it. Can you Imagaine the entire city of evil album done in one take on drums? Blows your mind doesn't it? It does mine. RIP to the legendary REV. 11 years passed. Still miss him every day. I bought an avenged shirt in his honor yesterday. He lives on through songs like this in our hearts.
Avenged Sevenfold got their name from Genesis in the Bible. But the rev still was playing drums until 2009 when he passed and the album nightmare was the first with out him. foREVer, love the videos!
Hey! Love the fact you wear your faith on your sleeve and still rock. Love your channel Gibby 👊💀 Can I ask for a react?: There’s a band called Convictions who are Christian Metalcore, they do an INCREDIBLE track called “Hurricane” - it’s a total banger, chorus off the charts, deep lyrics. Man, even if you don’t choose to do the react, check it out anyway- it’s awesome 🌟
@@julianlyhus3479 4:00am was a bside release single just after the nightmare album came out. Lost it all was a bonus song on the night mare album special edition. Set me free was a single release late last year
your idea about "the rev dies then they stop believe in god" can't be right cause this song is from the "city of evil" released in 2005 and the rev died in 2009
Finally I've been requesting this one for a long time man! Its my all time favorite song from them. I'm a Christian too man and what I get from this song is how we need to get rid of that oppressive and controller church that still exists! Churches that wont let single mothers baptize their kids because they are single or churches that wont let you in until you come with all your information...Im sure this was not M.Shadows point for writting this song but its how I like to interpretate it because I still see this problematic in churches all around the world.
I always feel so bad for the drum production on this album. The Rev was such an amazing and talented dude. Incredible drumming always. His snare sounds like a sad cowbell. Why he used a piccolo snare for this album I’ll never know. I’m almost positive it was a piccolo snare. In any case, RIP the REV. You are so missed brother.
I think you'll really like the song dancing dead, it's guitar riff is amazing and Shandows singing melodies are crazy and this song has one of Synyster gates best solos. You gotta check it out 🤘🏻
Just so it’s clear, outside of the ones who you know, Zach Vengeance plays “rhythm” guitar, Synyster Gates is the lead guitarist, and Johnny Christ is the bassist. Should definitely check out Synyster’s solos he does on his tours and his master class solo. He has a new solo he writes and performs for every tour
Trashed and scattered is definitely one for the banger shades and warmness on the soul is one of my personal favorites and if you react to this one (i really hope you do) i hope it pulls at your heart like it does mine
You know what he havent listen to any bad bunny's song or j balvin or any of the latino music in awhile. I would recommend listening to hoy cobre the official music video u gonna like it
The part youre talking about is just the rev playing with the speed pedals and drums, those fills sound amazing! They have another one like it on trashed and scattered
One of the meanest breakdowns even today... Fell in love with this band thanks to Need For Speed Most Wanted back in 05...whenever this song played I always won races..
My fav 3 avenged sevenfold songs are Nightmare, Afterlife and Buried Alive. The reason A7X are my fav band right now is that they have so many good songs. You have done over 30 songs. Not many bands have that many great songs. Fiction needs to be next. The song was written by The Rev. They dedicate the song to The Rev at every show they play.
Bro facts. Buried Alive is such a masterpiece. Hard to choose a top 3 from the cause they have so many bangers. But I also love Coming Home. A7X it tied with Yousei Teikoku for my favorite band rn
They didn't have the lyrics for the first two background vocal parts. The first one is " as clowns you follow suit behind the blood between the red and white and blue but it's too deep for you to see and everyone eventually will take the step 'cause it's in sight you take the left I'll take the right I feel the hate you've built for me and I say pay attention baby." The second one is " I see another side in you but there's not much more I can do from on the outside looking in your government is listening in to push you on the story of the immortal father mortal son give them your mind and all your wealth the cycle will rebirth itself."
I love how you mention what sounds like a cowbell. That is actuallyThe Rev’s snare drum hits. It’s the one thing that drives me insane regarding City of Evil. Why he used a thin piccolo snare drum is a mystery. It’s so high pitched that you may mistake it for a cowbell. The engineer and producer should have encouraged him to use a deeper snare. Their next album, self titled features a much more cohesive and deeper snare drum. Overall though, The Rev was such an amazing talent. Incredible musician. Keep it up brother!!!
Give a listen to the band Trik Turner. "Sacrifice" and Friends and Family". Then Turisas "Stand up and Fight". The messages are amazing and I do believe you will enjoy them.
As far as the beginning guitars playing with the drums, there’s no telling who it is based on a palm muted sound. No telling who recorded that part. But realistically, they probably both play that part live. I can’t remember if this one of those songs that they’ve played live or not 🤔
During the verses you need to check out the lyrics behind the main ones. Shadows is reciting a part that's harder to understand but when you look up what he is saying that turns out to be some of the deeper parts of the lyrics.
5:24 bruh I cannot believe he paused at the best part of the song and didn't even rewind it after the fact.
One of my favourite fills ever, Jimmy FTW!
Hahaha lol true bro ,best part jimmy

Eh the album was alright, but didn’t show their true potential like the rest of their albums. In other words, Hail To The King was really basic.
