From what i can tell chain actually likes pretty much every song off of city of evil. rest of the albums are hit or miss but city of evil is a certified banger

@@Chainbrain I think in terms of pure songwriting chops and fun to play riffs, City of Evil is just a god-tier metal album. The solos are nuts too, but like just the FEELING of playing those choruses with the arpeggiated drop-D chords is so _fun!_
@@ChainbrainI always felt most of their stuff was either very good or very bad with not a ton of inbetween stuff. Waken The Fallen and CoE for the most part were in the very good side of things

@@olivierpeartnoy yeh sadly all these technical bands are using the same really difficult techniques instead of innovating and making new shit, it feels like musicians are constantly having a dick measuring competition now.
