The piano motif borrowed from Kevin Sherwood is kind of a theme around CoD Zombies. In CoD Black Ops, the theme is played at the menus and during the song "Damned" on the soundtrack. For fans of the Zombies series, this motif encapsulates it. Of all the songs and melodies, this one is the most widely regarded and recognized. I see it as a direct reference to the series and Kevin Sherwood, as M Shadows (A7X Vocalist) is a huge fan of the series as well and made an appearance as a playable character in Black Ops 4. Edit: They also wrote music for other games in the series for a total of 6. Mostly for the Zombies mode. I definitely recommend those songs as well since you seemed to like this one.

The addition of "Damned" in the A7X track was more of an ode to the original zombies and KSherwood. It was also for the fans to know that they poured their heart into the track to stay true to the theme, grittiness, and agony of the zombies story. Beautifully crafted song.

They get too much hate from metal gatekeepers but they’re still super popular tho they just been out of the public eye for years now for the most part, when their new album drops this year a bunch more people will be talking about them again. They’re one of the few metal/heavy metal bands to have multiple #1 records in the last 15-20yrs. They also have 5 platinum albums which is not common at all in the modern age for metal bands.
Got hit with some call of duty nostalgia along with listening to A7X on a daily basis, and this is where the path took me. Great video. ❤ You guys are great and funny together!
One of my top 5 A7x songs! Here yet again to bug you guys about The Prophet's Beckoning from Shadow of Intent. After catching them live in Sweden last month I can't get this song off my mind :) it's the best on Reclaimer for me.

There's still a chunk of Reclaimer we haven't heard but we know everything else they put out. And tbh I don't think there's another band like SoI. That's why they're so brilliant. But closest I can get to them is Lorna Shore and probably She Must Burn. Epic symphonic deathcore bands! /Andrei

Its a religous reference, as if you combined these 7 spirits, the Spirit of the Lord, and the Spirits of wisdom, of understanding, of counsel, of might, of knowledge and of fear of the LORD, that when these 7 spirits come together, the "Perfect God" would be formed, so i believe the name is supposed to mean "Avenging the thing that once was". All 7 spirits still exist, but they aren't Sevenfold...7x1=7.
