😊jammed along with you both and smiling so much right now. Great reaction Vod. Appreciate the insight you both provided for me into the more technical side of this song Which i honestly never thought to much about. Knowledge level up! Glad you both enjoyed this one as much as i do. This is my second favorite of the cod zombies set of songs very close behind "Carrion" .BOTH ARE HYPE!
This reminds me a lot of It's Quiet Uptown from Hamilton... or what they didnt tell you in that song. It reminds me of one verse from it that goes "The moments when you're in so deep, it feels easier to just swim down" and the story of their other child Alexander and Eliza lost: Angelica Hamilton. She was so attached to Phillip that losing him took a massive toll on her. To the point she eventually had a mental breakdown and had to be taken to a mental hospital, where she stayed the rest of her life. She would talk as if Phillip was still alive and there, and not gone. Her grief consumed her. I really feel like this song touches base on that idea well, that when we dont let our grief in, push it away, itll cost us greatly. I'm still learning how to do that myself, but still I'm getting better every day, and slowly I feel a bit happier than ever.
For context, this song takes place on the RMS Titanic. But obviously the meaning of the song is a lot more than just literal drowning. Just in general one of my favorite songs
So sometime in the middle of 2019 kev put out instrumental versions of basically all of his zombie tracks and when the instrumental of this came out, the groove in the bridges was highlighted so well and this one really grew on me from there. Not to take away from how amazing Maluka is as a vocalist, but yeah. That being said, Maluka’s very first song she did for the games was Where Are We Going which is beautiful but not at all rock or metal, just purely orchestral. It’s incredible though if you guys still want to check it out. Maluka was also featured in Archangel and then she has two other solo songs for kev: Always Running which leans into a western theme, and Dead Flowers which I think you guys will lose your minds over. Dead Flowers is like Drowning but on steroids imo
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Also I hope enough people are also saying this but we appreciate how much you guys interact with the comment section so much. Like seriously.

I'm pretty sure malukah had several songs in black ops 2 where she was the only singer
Which ones? We do have more Malukah titles on our radar but I never know which ones are from which game! / George
@The Windmill Full ov Corpses "where are we going", "always running", and "dead flowers". There might be more but these ones I'm sure of

Ok, we have all those 3 titles on our radar. Currently there's no CoD lined up for a while, but we'll get back to it! / George
Day 1 of asking to react to Where Are We Going
Yes where are we going (especially 2018 version) is a masterpiece. Would love for them to react to it.
