My dad would love the Corolla. He used to do rally racing back in the day. He started off with a Datsun 540 and then got a Corolla, 1975, I think. He also owned one as his personal car and drove it until the body was falling apart, the throttle was stuck open, but the motor would never die. Then one day he merged onto an off ramp on a highway, went to make a downshift, and the shifter lever suddenly disappeared into the transmission tunnel. Then came a massive crash as the transmission fell out of the car... On the highway! Guess you could say he made a DOWNshift alright🤣! I think he misses that car but would never say so because he hates the newer Toyota cars LOL. Thanks for saving some of those cars. I hate to hear about these classics getting crushed.
This was great! There's a massive yard like this near me that I've been to a few times. Mostly 50s, 60s and early 70s cars. They've also been crushing them by the hundreds. It's heartbreaking! Thank you and your family for saving what you could! Best of luck!
Bummer they crushed some you were interested in .Sooo many cool cars in that place. Glad you could save a few of them for us viewers to follow. Call the wagon Colonel Mustard ! lol

I saw some folks being upset with your choice of saving. I love the funky 80's vehicles! The Merkur is based off of the Ford Sierra, a English designed car and a powerhouse in its day.
Just a thought Josh...do you have to have the brake pedal pushed before the Transmission selector will come out of Park on some of those 80,s square bodies.???
I used to work for a company that had a fleet of new cars for the employees to drive. It was a company that produced shop manuals for government agencies like Lockheed, Rockwell International and Boeing aircraft. I was a Technical illustrator at the time doing illustrations of mechanical components and exploded views of motors and jet engines or whatever was needed. We did mostly government manuals and the updates on parts. So anyway we had about 12 cars that were leased from Ford and available for the employees to use. I remember driving these brand new Ford Fairmonts, LTD's, and Granada's.all over Los Angeles. They were very comfortable and reliable. It's so strange to see those cars so dirty and worn out now. I still remember them with that new car smell and so clean inside. To see them in such neglected condition and worn out is such a testament to how old I am. The 80's were an awesome era.

Josh, I was a always a big fan of the Ford Falcon, early mustang, and Maverick. Had at least one of each of them, and loved them all. All of them were straight 6 cylinder engines. The 65, and 66 mustangs I had , were pretty quick from light to light, with the 200 ci six, and 3 speed. Very torqey, as I stripped 2 transmissions first gears. Thanks for the blast from the past! Love the show, and your family! God Bless you!🙏🏻
I'm pretty sure that one is yellow because it was probably in taxi service, or possibly an airport limo. It more than likely had a spotlight because the government/military used those cars back in the 80s. Most famously by NASA and military police. Very cool acquisitions Josh! Can't wait to see the future videos on them. 👍👍👍
Always pains me to see such rare, sought-after cars just rotting away. That Cyclone GT was awesome. My very first car was a '65 Galaxie 500 like the one there, dark metallic blue, 289...handed down from my father. I could watch you guys walk through there for days...Entertaining content Josh!
Im glad you stopped and gave the datsuns and rx7s some love. Sad to see any of them go, harder and harder to find even for parts without costing an arm and a leg. I agree with your dad, painful to watch. Glad you saved some man even if for parts. Keep up the great videos, I think you doing a great. That 55 caddy looks awesome!
I don't want to speculate on reason for crusher or what effort was taken but this actually kind of upsets alot of us. See it more and more all the time, you know crusher is giving couple hundred a car. If any owners of collections like this are listening, before this happens please call your local car club, even county or state clubs. Give us say 4wks to save what we can at the price crusher is going to offer. I know we can't save them all but at least give us a chance before they're gone forever.

That Futura is SWEET! Definitely resto material. It looks like it would clean and polish up pretty nice the way it is. Sad to see so many cars get crushed. Even the ones I don't care for, someone else likes and could use some parts for. All of them have a story of some kind.
Good old Josh quick fix and back on the road, i have to say you have the perfect family 🙏🏾 lucky guy right there, im glad to be able to come along with your little ventures god bless youtube
Aint seen a Grip Spur since 99! 😄. Seriously though, we sold the heck out of them when i worked at tha Co-op. You could go just about anywhere you wanted in your 2 wheel drive pickup, with them on the back. Awesome mud casings.

OMG Sleeperdude. All of The first 10 or 15 cars that you showed in the beginning were the same as some of the ones I owned back in the 80,s early 90,s We definitely have very simular tastes in cars. It's just a shame they were left here to rot for so long. I hope people can save all they can.
You guys have all the fun! That yard is a restorers haven. Sad that a couple cars you marked were gone, I hope you manage to get the rest you marked and maybe the owner will let you take a couple you would like that he wanted to keep.
one of my favorite cars Josh, the 69 and 70 TorinoGT. I was Ralphies age when my dad bought a 70 GT new at the Ford dealer in NJ but his first choice was the 69 GT but it was too late. just wanted to share that with you Josh !!
Sad to see those old cars getting crushed but glad you saved a few. Loved the video. Based on Ralphie’s Marketing and Promotional skills I think he deserves a golf cart.
Yeah, it's heartbreaking seeing them getting crushed =/ At least, a lot of rare ones are claimed or have a K, so there's still hope for them. Someone needs to save that one in 23:50 or at least reuse the good parts on for another unit. It's a really cool one.
Ralphie rocking them farmer overalls 😃 sad to see such great cars crushed but glad you and alot others are striving to save ,keep some of them back on the road for people to enjoy once more👏👍 Understand some of these are just too far gone to even get a fender off but still going to be recycled for other products. Thank's for your efforts especially now that this is your full-time endeavor 👏
My dad had 2 xr4tis when we was younger. He really like them but they were bothe automatics. Good job on this video and saving the cars! It is pretty sad seeing them all crushed!
That old Toyota Corolla was cool. My parents had one when i was young. 1973ish orange with a 5speed. One trip we hit a BIG moose! VERY lucky we were alright with just the odd scratch. good reliable and STRONG cars! Great video man! keep em coming!
That glass window is so they can't get the driver when they come back to life 🤣😂 looks great though you don't see windows like that anymore, all the best to yous and your loved ones
I don't care what anyone says, those 80's cars and wagons are freakin awesome. I was born in 81, so these are the cars I saw brand new driving around. Good taste I say. 👌 And I almost cried when they were taking that Imperial away. And when the crusher was chasing yall, it looked like your Fairmont was looking at them saying "later suckers!" 😂
Hey Josh glad to see everybody back safe! Really think you got some great cars there before all of the are gone to start making something nice.I am sure Rocky will be ready to get working on them😊.
I had that same heater hose quick connect failure on my Chevy. I replaced both of them. I did not have the tool to get them loose, so i lightly scored them with a sawzall, and broke them apart. Mook from Junkyard Digs got me into a frozen chicken nugget addiction. Toaster ovens work great cooking them.
Thank you for saving what you could. If I had the property to store classic cars on and I lived closer to you, I would have grabbed up a bunch of those historical beauties. Some of those cars you never see anymore. I was hoping to see a 70's Honda Civic with the standard bright yellow paint job. They must have crushed every 70's vintage Honda Civic in a span of 5 years or less back in the early to mid 90's. Then collectors bought the rest of them up. I never ever see one anymore. They were as common as a June bug in June at one time. I noticed and I am sure everyone else noticed that you sure do love those Fairmont's. They were real good cars. I also loved the Granada's. They felt luxurious at an economy price. Very comfortable car. Ok, the other reason I am writing is I can't stand Vienna Sausages. The smell, the taste makes me want to puke. Seeing you all jump on a can every episode put's me at no choice but to stop watching at that point. It's a shame because I enjoy watching every show. When I see that can in your hands, it's over for me. Please cut the Vienna Sausages out of all future shows or I will be forced to purchase every can within a 50 mile range of you and have them crushed. LOL
That place is absolutely amazing. I wish I could’ve been one of the first ones to get there and see everything places like that are dwindling and fast.
Wow, all those cars going to the crusher, what a bummer. That Torino took me back to high-school days, had a 68 GT Fastback, factory 4 speed w/console. Glad you were able to save some of the cars. Great program, Take care 👍

I have to agree about the Fairmonts 🤮. But we'll always watch your channel you guys are just too good. 🤣👍. Ralphie for president Rocky for vice president
@ 47:29 I'm missing that hood ornament for my 1948 M5 Studebaker pick up. The rest of the chrome trim is on it. I believe that is an 'AC2500', one of the only accessories that was on my truck from the factory
Great video, so many cool cars....that 70s Ford Wagon was worth looking at too. Love the Family involvement. Also liked the Ford F100 maybe 58 or 59. Also like the baby hand plug ins , always cracks me up
That 82 New Yorker M-body at 21:45 is a rare piece since it's a base model, most were NY 5th Avenues and the Fox Body Marquis is another you don't see everyday. I had an 85 and thought it was a well built car and saw one advertised on craigslist Pittsburgh for $2500.
The first car I bought, was a brand new AMC concord two door landau top. It had a twin colour(bronze-gold) exterior and tan-crushed velvet interior! It had a 4.2 liter engine! I was the first in the family with an American car....

Thank you
@@Sleeperdude you have a drone to do the yard?????
Thanks for sharing! That yellow wagon has to have been a taxi. Years ago around here there were two Fairmont taxis. One was indeed a wagon.
This is exactly what I thought when looking at the yellow ford wagon: this one had to be a taxi during its former life 😂
That’s cool your probably right
@@Sleeperdude are you willing to save the 2 door Belvidere? Or hook us up with who to call about it??
Im glad you stopped and gave the datsuns and rx7s some love. Sad to see any of them go, harder and harder to find even for parts without costing an arm and a leg. I agree with your dad, painful to watch. Glad you saved some man even if for parts. Keep up the great videos, I think you doing a great. That 55 caddy looks awesome!
Thank you
I don't want to speculate on reason for crusher or what effort was taken but this actually kind of upsets alot of us.
Yeah it’s sad
Hi from uk Josh and all👋👍 you got your work cut out for you on all these projects now👌 cant wait to see how they all clean up and hope they all dont pose too much of a challange👍 think thats the first time av seen rocky on a diet😂😂 nice to see him eating the good stuff for a change😂👍 pleased you all had a blast and shame you lost 2 tho 😢 but great goin and also when getting car onto rollback if it cockeyed rather than a come along or breaking yourself use the truck to advantage if 2 wheels on rollback if you pulled forward on right lock it would of straightened car 👌 or vice versa if cars straddled of right side pull forward on left lock to straighten👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
Thank you
That Futura is SWEET! Definitely resto material. It looks like it would clean and polish up pretty nice the way it is. Sad to see so many cars get crushed. Even the ones I don't care for, someone else likes and could use some parts for. All of them have a story of some kind.
Yeah for sure .. I can’t wait to start working on it
Good old Josh quick fix and back on the road, i have to say you have the perfect family 🙏🏾 lucky guy right there, im glad to be able to come along with your little ventures god bless youtube
Yeah that worked out pretty good I’m glad you like our channel
Aint seen a Grip Spur since 99! 😄. Seriously though, we sold the heck out of them when i worked at tha Co-op. You could go just about anywhere you wanted in your 2 wheel drive pickup, with them on the back. Awesome mud casings.
Yeah they were the best
Fun family adventures. I like when Ralphie SAID something like , "THAT'S WHAT THE ENVELOPE IS FOR"
Yes we are training him right 😂
Looking forward to the next adventure guys! You all are always all in my prayers and especially Ralphie getting a golf cart too! I remember wanting a go cart at that age and it was the best thing ever when I finally got one to build👍 you all are awesome love yall and God bless 🙏
Thank you
Me and my husband Tommy Jackson are always checking on you guys, great job and good videos!!!!
Thank you
That looks like so much fun junkin with the family, You need the Hearse for sure. Look forward to see some of the Fairmont's and Ltd wagon come back from the dead. I find it funny you didn't brush off the top of the cars before bringing them back LOL. Thanks for sharing
Thank you I’m glad you like it
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your generosity
As fast as they were crushing those cars, you were lucky to get what you got ! Looking forward to the clean up vids ! Might be a few more you could get the more they clear out. The Futura is pretty neat !
Thank you.. yes your right
OMG Sleeperdude. All of The first 10 or 15 cars that you showed in the beginning were the same as some of the ones I owned back in the 80,s early 90,s We definitely have very simular tastes in cars. It's just a shame they were left here to rot for so long. I hope people can save all they can.
Yeah all the good ones are claimed
So sad to see all the old cars getting crushed . Great video guys 👍🇺🇸
Yes it is thank you
You guys have all the fun! That yard is a restorers haven. Sad that a couple cars you marked were gone, I hope you manage to get the rest you marked and maybe the owner will let you take a couple you would like that he wanted to keep.
Yeah maybe so he’s very nice
That 302 Fairmont is to die for. So glad you saved it. I had a 78 and 79. Unfortunately both were 4 door straight 6's. Still love that car.
Thank you
You guys walked right past a mint looking boat with a Mercury on the back. Might be some fun for you and Ralphie this summer.
Yeah could be
@@Sleeperdude Might be a fun alternative to the golf cart if he wasn’t able to secure one of those beauty’s.
one of my favorite cars Josh, the 69 and 70 TorinoGT. I was Ralphies age when my dad bought a 70 GT new at the Ford dealer in NJ but his first choice was the 69 GT but it was too late. just wanted to share that with you Josh !!
Thank you
Sad to see those old cars getting crushed but glad you saved a few. Loved the video. Based on Ralphie’s Marketing and Promotional skills I think he deserves a golf cart.
Yeah for sure
Hi sleeper dude, how can I reach the owner? Thanks
You should get the old semi and put a tilt bed on it to haul cars/trucks that you get. Ralphie will love it! Great videos brother 👍
Yes that would be cool
It's sad that they went and crushed your wagon, thanks for showing us all the wonderful car's and hurst, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Thank you
Good memories with my wife back when we were teens in a fairmont wagon. Happy to see them being saved
Glad you enjoy them
The slant four on the four wheel drive frame would be an international scout probably, Pontiac also made a slant four, both of them were half of a V8
Ok good to know thanks
Yeah, it's heartbreaking seeing them getting crushed =/ At least, a lot of rare ones are claimed or have a K, so there's still hope for them.
Someone needs to save that one in 23:50 or at least reuse the good parts on for another unit. It's a really cool one.
Ok thanks
Ralphie rocking them farmer overalls 😃 sad to see such great cars crushed but glad you and alot others are striving to save ,keep some of them back on the road for people to enjoy once more👏👍 Understand some of these are just too far gone to even get a fender off but still going to be recycled for other products. Thank's for your efforts especially now that this is your full-time endeavor 👏
Yeah it’s sad to see them get crushed I wish I would’ve got there earlier
My dad had 2 xr4tis when we was younger. He really like them but they were bothe automatics. Good job on this video and saving the cars! It is pretty sad seeing them all crushed!
Thank you
Great that you're back and great video content yet again!Keep up the great work you're doing and the best and safest to you and family.
Thank you
It's good to see people saving some of these old cars 🙂
Thank you
hope the big block was removed from that dark blue chrysler also.
That's a whole Lotta cars.. 🤘🏼🇺🇲
Yes it is
That old Toyota Corolla was cool. My parents had one when i was young. 1973ish orange with a 5speed. One trip we hit a BIG moose! VERY lucky we were alright with just the odd scratch. good reliable and STRONG cars! Great video man! keep em coming!
Wow that’s crazy
I had a white '77 1600 like it!
That glass window is so they can't get the driver when they come back to life 🤣😂 looks great though you don't see windows like that anymore, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Exactly thanks
If Ralphy gets an electric golf cart you gotta replace the roof with solar panels, I am sure he is gonna love that idea
Oh wow
Love the Futura. I wish my friend Jon had sold me his but he took it to California with him in 89.
That would have been cool
the Torino GT looked like a good find. too bad it was claimed several times. I'm guessing they're bidding on it?
Yeah something like that
I don't care what anyone says, those 80's cars and wagons are freakin awesome. I was born in 81, so these are the cars I saw brand new driving around. Good taste I say. 👌 And I almost cried when they were taking that Imperial away. And when the crusher was chasing yall, it looked like your Fairmont was looking at them saying "later suckers!" 😂
I’m glad someone else likes them
Down in Mississippi our long time family friend had a lot with probably a couple thousand cars. It was so fun to go and look at all the old cars
Nice
It's hard to believe all of those cars were brand new on a showroom floor at one point in time.
That’s right
Sleeperdude to the rescue! A big thx from all the petrolheads in the world.
Thank you 😊
Wow some great finds and I am sure some good ones got crushed
Yeah probably so
Hey Josh glad to see everybody back safe! Really think you got some great cars there before all of the are gone to start making something nice.I am sure Rocky will be ready to get working on them😊.
Yes for sure thank you
I had that same heater hose quick connect failure on my Chevy. I replaced both of them. I did not have the tool to get them loose, so i lightly scored them with a sawzall, and broke them apart. Mook from Junkyard Digs got me into a frozen chicken nugget addiction. Toaster ovens work great cooking them.
That’s funny thank you
Love it, the whole family dynamics is so fun to watch! Thank you 😊 🥰
Thank you
Thank you for saving what you could. LOL
That’s funny my wife can’t stand them either ..
Happy 4th wonderful folks!
Thank you.
That place is absolutely amazing. I wish I could’ve been one of the first ones to get there and see everything places like that are dwindling and fast.
Yeah I was even a little late
@@Sleeperdude I have to ask how do you even find places like that?
Wow, all those cars going to the crusher, what a bummer. That Torino took me back to high-school days, had a 68 GT Fastback, factory 4 speed w/console. Glad you were able to save some of the cars. Great program, Take care 👍
Thank you
Well in high school, my senior year dad gave me a 1979 aspen station wagon...automatic with a slant six....someone backed it into a tree...so the rear bumper was stoved in on the drivers side....silver car with a shiny red vinal interior.....whooooo hoooo
I love your videos they keep getting better. keep up the good work
Thank you
Loving the videos man keep it up
Thank you
I have to agree about the Fairmonts 🤮. But we'll always watch your channel you guys are just too good. 🤣👍. Ralphie for president Rocky for vice president
Thank you
@ 47:29 I'm missing that hood ornament for my 1948 M5 Studebaker pick up. The rest of the chrome trim is on it. I believe that is an 'AC2500', one of the only accessories that was on my truck from the factory
I was wondering what that hood was off of
Great video, so many cool cars....that 70s Ford Wagon was worth looking at too. Love the Family involvement. Also liked the Ford F100 maybe 58 or 59.
Also like the baby hand plug ins , always cracks me up
Thank you
Rolled one burnt one🤣. I would save all possible Studebaker Hawks if I had your skills, loved those body styles and performance engines
Thank you
Le maître des gougonns
Whatsa gougonn? 🤔
@@JohnShinn6078 it's a french québécois slang term for flip flops
That 82 New Yorker M-body at 21:45 is a rare piece since it's a base model, most were NY 5th Avenues and the Fox Body Marquis is another you don't see everyday. I had an 85 and thought it was a well built car and saw one advertised on craigslist Pittsburgh for $2500.
Yeah they are cool
He's all jacked up on Mountain Dew🤣. Guys need to be doing more videos please👍🇺🇸
I know right
It's people like that, that just irritated me
Check and see if there's a "bicycle pile" a lot of old school yards piled bikes in one spot. I've found a few treasures in those piles.
Good idea I will have to watch for that
I've been to many yards in my life, and I've never gone wearing flip flops. Your a brave man. Love your son's remark, I'm jacked up on Mountain Dew.
Yeah he’s funny
The first car I bought, was a brand new AMC concord two door landau top. It had a twin colour(bronze-gold) exterior and tan-crushed velvet interior! It had a 4.2 liter engine! I was the first in the family with an American car....
So cool
The Ford Country Sedan Wagon @ 33:30 is definitely worth saving! It looks to be very solid and complete. Was it claimed? Doesn't appear to be..
The owner is keeping it
