As a lifelong U2 fan who grew up with these guys through the late 70s 80s and 90s, it’s heartbreaking to see just how much of a joke and a caricature they have become. Actually that may not be the best way to phrase this. It’s heartbreaking to see just how much of a joke and a caricature Bono has become. I can’t even stomach him anymore. If Bono from the 80s jumped into a DeLorean and came to 2022, he would be horrified at what he became. Namely - the very thing he used to speak out against.
As the Irish people and government support Palestine, sufferig occupation and apartheid by Israel, hopely once this Irish band U2 will make a song for the Palestinians. #FreePalestine
