I always remember as a young fella stumping up the $120 to see this concert in Sydney Australia back in the day. I basically couldn't afford it but i knew it was something i may never see again in my lifetime. I left the stadium that night, with no voice left, having sung every single word of every single song! Best 120 bucks i have ever spent in my life. What a band, what a perfromance, what a night! Love you U2...
You did something I've never been able to do. That's to see U2, my favorite band of all time!! They've never come anywhere close to where I live so I would have to travel and tickets are expensive. I just have to live through these videos and what those of you who have seen them. A friend of mine worked in a photo shop at a store and she used to see some great pictures. Once a woman came in with a rush job. She had pictures of a U2 concert she had been to in Dublin. She said she's seen them in Ireland 3 or 4times. ( This was several years before the pandemic.). She had one picture of Bono where she was right up at the stage and he leaned over and smiled right at her. She could almost touch him. And the rest of the pictures were really good too. I asked her why she didn't make me a set of the pictures. I would have paid for them. She said it was a rush order with multiple sets and didn't have time. I was so bummed!! Imagine flying to Ireland just to see them in concert!
