I just lost my son a few weeks ago... he was 19. He came to us from a troubled background, we did our best, and then some, to help him forget those times and find happiness, and for a while... he did. But, he always had these personal demons he was fighting and unfortunately... they won in the end. This song always reminded me of him and his search for happiness. He knew the world was his... he had so much talent in everything he did, but there was always some longing in him... something always gnawing at the back of his mind that wouldn't let him be satisfied. He never found what he was looking for in this life... I pray he finds it in the next. Daddio loves and misses you mi hito.

I was not expecting to get emotional while watching Sing 2, but when the audience started to sing along with Ash and then the Calloway started to play his guitar it almost got me in tears. Everything about that moment in the movie was absolutely perfect, especially this song and the fact that it was voiced by Bono himself. They truly did justice to this timeless song!

The Joshua Tree truly is one of the greatest albums ever made. People were mad in 88 that MJ didnt win with Bad, but... this is what he was up against. This album casually contains THREE of the greatest songs of all time: I still haven't found what i'm looking for, Where the streets have no name and With or Without you. Not to mention other amazing hits like Bullet the blue sky and Trip through your wires. Entire fucking album is sensational.

I agree completely. The Joshua Tree is most certainly one of the greatest albums of all time, rock or otherwise. It's absolutely brilliant, and it's beautiful, very beautiful. Thought provoking, emotional, spiritual, and the music the lyrics are set to is deep and beautiful. I have always loved it, even when it first came out.

All great songs, but one of my favourites is from Achtung Baby (still their best album if you ask me) “Until the end of the World” the Riff on that song is as good as anything Jimmy Page ever came up with during Led Zeppelin’s world domination in the late 60’s and into the 70’s.

I'm 78 years old and at long last I found what I was looking for (6 years ago). Her name is Louise. She fills my life with love and laughter every day. She was well worth the wait. I'm the luckiest man alive. I was diagnosed with Kidney Failure 5 years ago. I don't ever want to leave my Louise, but time is running short....... circle of life and all that....... Fuck it, I got to share love and laughter with the love of my life today and I can't wait to see what joy she will bring me tomorrow. Each day offers a wonderful new adventure.
Update: So sorry but, Not every story has a happy ending. My sweet Louise Left me (just when I needed her most). A week ago, Wednesday September 8, 2021 in the middle of the night, without any warning, she snuck out while I slept. She left a short note "Richard, I can't do this anymore, I need to take care of myself, don't call". The day before that, I was King of The World. Now I'm just broken. I was lucky to have had her in my life for a while but, now she's gone. I don't know why, she didn't say. Their was no argument or disagreement. I'm so very sad, my heart is broken. I only wish she had explained or just told me why, or even said goodbye. I miss her terribly. I hope she is safe and can find happiness wherever she has gone. On the plus side, I had my Louise in my life for seven plus wonderful years. Thankfully, my time left is only 6 months to a year so I won't be lonely for that much longer.

My uncle put me on to U2 when I was around 7 or 8 years old. I still remember the first time I heard it play in my mom's living room. 30 years later I take my son to see Sing 2 and I got goose bumps and chills as I see his face widen and try to hum along as the song plays out. Yes sing 2 brought me here but the love was always there.

His range is a bit lower (but not a lot) and he doesn't have the power he use to have in the 80's.
But his timbre is better than ever IMO. He's the kind of singer who envolved along his career in term of technic (like Robert Plant for exemple, but with a better range).
