    Great and fun strategy and it got even stronger because of the Sandworm buff and Fortress nerf!

    Do you have a preferred counter to sandworm? Has it changed any of your tech choices you mentioned in the previous video, to give yourself more anti-worm options?

    Do you have a video where you go into when to buy more units and when to level up the unit you already have?
    For me since I'm new I often get one or two more packs of units than I see in high level games

      @@davidsullivan2404 I currently do not have a video dedicated to this specifically, mainly because there are no hard rules on what to do (it depends on the game you are playing) However, here are some general ideas that might help:
      1) Try and get your 2 deployments/round at least for the first 5 rounds of play as this will allow you yo have a solid base entering the mid/late game. You should at least be able to buy 2 packs of chaff in the early rounds, even when deciding to level a pack of steelballs on round 2.
      2) Make sure to first use your money and deployments to fix immediate problems, before leveling existing units. If you do not have anti-air and your opponent bought an overlord, countering that will be your priority over leveling a pack of sledges for instance.
      3) Prioritise leveling units that you plan on keeping for the entire game (your carries), especially when this introduces breakpoints. For instance, leveling a pack of phoenixes or a marksman to level 2 will mean they can now oneshot level 1 sledges. Leveling crawlers can be meaningful if your opponent is relying on level 1 arclights to chaff clear, as it will now take them 2 shots to kill a crawler. Try and click on units to see how much damage they did last round or how many units they have killed. This can give you some indicator of how important they are and if they deserve a level.
      This is by no means an exact science, and it is a very nuanced topic but I hope it helps a little!

    Would overlord be good to run along in late game? Or just more wasps on their own?

    • @RoosterYoutube
      @RoosterYoutube  Месяц назад

      @@davidsullivan2404 It all depends on the game, but the ideal build will just rely on 4 high level wasps. Of course overlord is also an air unit so if you get it early you could simply run some overlords with the sandworm. Sometimes you might want to buy overlords to protect your wasps from something like an EMP blast active

      @@RoosterRUclips thanks! I have been having a lot of success with the build! i build 4 wasps then level them early, getting upgrades and then adding 2-3 more late game.
      Now I just need to learn more from your videos and vods about how to stay alive early when I start to lose in any build. Also thanks for telling us how to counter the build as I have been able to counter different air type builds.

    Best build for worm is no build

    • @RoosterYoutube
      @RoosterYoutube  Месяц назад +1

      @@Don_Corben Carry worm indeed isn't very good, but I have managed to climb to 2100+ MMR using this particular build. It requires a lot of parts (lots of crawlers, sandworms with sandstorm, high level wasps with techs, wraith with degen), but it bears virtually every comp in the late game. Sandstorm has crazy value if you are running an air-based comp and your opponent is defending with ground units.
