I also tried to get my wifi to work with your methed & others by doing the guest method but xfinity does not allow that feature anymore, I was able to split it from 5ghz & 2.4ghz since supposedly psp only runs 2.4 now. But still nada, I think my issue is the WPA version because I have WPA2 & xfinity does not give you the option to downgrade the WPA2 into WPA. I'd be nice if I could atleast have My SSID greyed out but nah, my SSID dosnt even popup;. It is what it is,

Hey, thanks a lot for the video. by the way, you can combine your old theme "ptf" with the new one "cft". I actually had the neon one, and when I added the plugin, it kept the neon icons. it looks sick! you can get really creative.
I had issues with not being able to see the custom themes, only the ptf ones worked. I added the SRC folder to the SEPlugins folder (along with cxmb) and now they work. Thanks for the video and I hope this also might help someone too.
@@DaveBudness at first in the recovery menu it only showed “VSH” and that’s all I could enable. But all I had to was just copy and paste the 2 folders “cxmb and SRC” into the SEPLUGINS and I was able to see them.

i know this is super late but I cant see a custom theme option when I scroll to theme setting its only original and classic and I've done everything I can to try to fix this, everything gone right and the plug in itself is even activated when i open the advanced settings when pressing select, what do i do

Hey, I've taken some time to look into it, that's why I didn't respond. When you boot your PSP up and go to the Settings / Theme Settings: THEME. You should see the wallpaper downloaded and dragged onto the memory card. If you don't. Click on SELECT / RECOVERY MENU / PLUGINS / cxmb.prx if this is enabled, disable the plugin. Back out and click 'RESET VSH'. Go back to the SETTINGS / THEME SETTINGS: THEME. Now, you should see the custom wallpapers you've downloaded. I don't know why this is like this. I did exactly as in the video. However, it throws me internal error. I tried to install vsh and theme in flash1, first it said write protected disk, I removed that in recovery menu, then I was able to change and folders are deleted. First off I don't have the PSP anymore. The SD Card holder which you put the actual SD CARD into has a small switch on the side of it to either write or don't write info to the SD Card. Are the iso names in all capital letters? it would be "GAME NAME".ISO replace game name with whatever name you see fit. You must also have a root : / PSP / GAME folder (the NORMAL PSP GAME Folder) for the iso to show up on the XMB For the games to be shown, the firmware needs to be launched, in this case, if you got 6.61 and its not permanent, you need to relaunch it again, if you put the permanent patch for it, then you need to have an ISO folder on the root of the memory stick. For some reason wallpapers work like that, if you have the plugin off either they will show or not. If you have the plugin on certain wallpapers will show or not. its weird, I sold my PSP l;last year. good luck. Or try google.

ptf theme showing under custom themes... I never went through the menu to enable cxmb, i disabled it, still only shows one theme under custom themes, am i stuck with ctf now?

@@DaveBudness I had downloaded the files. Extracted them with 7zip, then dragged the files in the correct places. I also made the vsh and put the code in it.
I also downloaded the themes from the GitHub (more specifically the Pikachu one) and they were showing up on my psp, but they weren't working even after doing all the steps correctly.
Hey, I've noticed that certain themes work and don't work, when you go into the psp menu and enable the custom theme off and on, the themes work, it's really odd. esp for the ps5 theme. It weill work if you disable the custom theme

You gotta activate the vsh menu and then go to some other screen to deactivate and reactivate it. If you deactivate the themes it will do, but if you have them enabled they won’t it’s odd I had the same issue

Some metal gear 4 theme would crash my system on every boot so i had to quickly go in recovery and then usb mode to delete the files... then it would load and then i could change again to previous working theme.... i was holding my heart for a second there....

@@MrEp5 well I’ve noticed that the only time a then would work is if you go to the VSH menu and deactivate the plug-in then the aftermarket theme would show. It’s weird buggy! It’s an old platform which I don’t get why people like it! Get a ps vita you can emulate them ops games on there

For some odd reason I don't know, you'd have to hold or shift the select button go into the menu where you enabled the plugin disable it and you can see the ptf themes, it's like you can only have one or another.

Hey ptf themes are not showing up for me on my jailbroken psp
You gotta activate the vsh menu and then go to some other screen to deactivate and reactivate it. If you deactivate the themes it will do, but if you have them enabled they won’t it’s odd I had the same issue

Gotcha now my only issue is that I get the theme I want but it also comes with a corrupted data do you know how to get rid of the corrupted won’t let me delete it

Some metal gear 4 theme would crash my system on every boot so i had to quickly go in recovery and then usb mode to delete the files... then it would load and then i could change again to previous working theme.... i was holding my heart for a second there....

@@DaveBudness I dont know why it would crash and be in a reboot loop. Maybe its my buggy system. But the Peacewalker theme works great and looks great too.
@@MrEp5 well I’ve noticed that the only time a then would work is if you go to the VSH menu and deactivate the plug-in then the aftermarket theme would show. It’s weird buggy! It’s an old platform which I don’t get why people like it! Get a ps vita you can emulate them ops games on there

Hey, when you were at the main live area of the PSP, did you hit select? and then go to recov menu. You need to enable the plugin
