This tutorial really came in handy after Sony silently disabled the ability to copy your legal digital PSP games you had purchased with your money from PS3 to PSP. Again, thank you for the helpful video. ❤
I have a question, is there any way to upgrade my modded pro infinity 1 to infinity 2?
use chronoswitch to uninstall the infinity 1.0 fw github.com/DaveeFTW/chronoswitch
Yep, my next video covers exactly that.
I'm wondering the same
I was about To ask that 👌👌👌👌
@@DEMR1992 yeah, you downgrade out of infinity (just use chronoswitch to return to normal 6.61) and install Infinity 2.0
I know im very late to the party, but I just wanted to know the differences between LME and PRO CFWs. Is there any benefit in using one over the other?
not that im aware of , people usually talk abou either 6.60 against 6.60 , pro , infinity or lme have no compatibility issues with any plugina or vsh , bet then again i use pro c-2
BRO you came in clutch I just got a psp and could not for the life of me figure out how to install all this shit. You were the only person I could find that gave me coherent instructions. You the GOAT I APPRECIATE YOU!!!!

Thanks mate I wasted a whole day until I found your video,my psp is back in action thanks to you, your video is clear and precise and easy to follow big thumbs up
Thanks dude, worked perfectly! I was kind of scared at first that it wouldn't work and my PSP would screw up, and break. But nope worked PERFECTLY!
Wow it worked for me right away following your instructions to the T. Thank you sir! Am a proud owner of a PSP 2001. Glad I can now give a new life to this handheld. Had it taking dust in a closet and not used for a long time.
Great to hear!
Bro I have watched countless tutorials and yours is the only one that broke everything down perfectly!! Thank you so much!!!!!
Best tutorial for psp modding on youtube!! Thank you!
It is said that people who play the PSP in 2020 are real gamerz. Tell me about it, I bought one just this week and I am playing Tomb Raider 2, Parasite Eve, and Alundra. Best thing ever!
So great!
Thank you so much! I got a PSP GO with 6.60 OFW and Pro Fast Recovery but after 2 years the PSP start to shut down randomly and bricking. After following your install instruction, now It's updated to 6.61 and there are no randomly shut down or bricking. All the games show up properly without having to use Pro Fast Recovery.
Gotta love that permanent CFW!
Just bought a psp today! I’ll be experiencing it for the first time. Gonna get to modding it once I get all of the hardware I need.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I found a PSP Go that I bought a few years ago and now have it running great with custom firmware thanks to you!
MAN you are a hero. Finally a youtuber that don't lead ppl on and on point with everything lol.
Try to make stuff legit and easy to follow along with :)
@@MrMario2011 you ain’t lying. Lol respect
The PSP was the first console I ever homebrewed. It was the start of one of my most favorite hobbies.
I have just followed the instructions and everything went smoothly! Many THANKS for sharing this precious information!!!
thanks. At one point I though I have bricked my console, but in the end everything worked
Thanks, i just did this and it took me like 5 minutes. Idk why i was worried, i guess i was worried that i'd birck it, Usually its not that big of a deal to find another psp but due to the world we live in right now everything's expensive. But it worked, it took longer to copy over the isos than it did to mod it lol
Just hacked the first console waiting for the next one in the mail. I can remember watching zzk2001 videos and spending like a whole day putting cfw on my first psp in 2009, after waiting a month for the pandora battery to arrive.
I just used this guide on my PSP 3000 6.39 and it worked perfectly!! thanks a lot man!!
Got a couple of psp 1000's, a psp Go , 4 vitas, psTV just picked up a psp street & got a 128gb card coming. Thank you for the brilliant vids MrMario... its as much fun modding as it is playing them
What a collection!!!
MrMario2011 haha cheers I thought I was doing ok, until Sandeep of ‘2old4gaming’ mentioned he has 9 PSVitas 😄.... great vids thank you MrMario
Modding them is a pain in the as, not to mention it is scary asf. I fully bricked my PSP 1000, and struggled a lot to unbrick it, now Im gonna try to mod it again and Im scared ASF
Bro,my little cousin broke my copy of DBZ Shin Budokai 2,now i have the powa to play it again, thank you
Did this on all 4 of my psps very awesomeeeee did my last one today smooth sailing
Thank you MrMario! Definitely best out here update out here! Everything went smooth👍
THANK YOU MAN! My PSP 2000 Bricked and i lost everything but your tutorial worked just fine! You got a sub from me :D
I've tried for over 4 hours to get 1 game 😭 with the infinity that didn't work on my psp street and you saved me thank you
Freaking awesome video man, having the files all pakacged was a godsend as the Wololo article doesn't have them any more and your guy was so clean and succinct, just subbed to you, thanks so much again!
Bought a new PSP battery, the memory stick duo adaptor, a 64gb sd card and modded the psp through this tutorial. Thank you!
Based.
Great to see you're still keeping up with comments on this very useful video.
I try
Well my PSP 2000 had decided to magically come back to life, so now I got that is running CFW too! The battery is still borked, and you actually need one to install updates, but I got the battery from the 1000 to fit in there just enough to trick it into starting the update.
Thanks again for the guide and all having all the relevant files in one convenient package!
Course now I have to decide whether or not I want to buy another battery for the 2000. The 1000 is more comfortable to hold, but Minecraft PSP edition levels are twice the size on the 2000 (though still tiny).
I used this for my PSP GO and it worked a treat!! Now just found my PSP 1000 in White and once my memory card arrives gonna do the sme to that! Many thanks!!
How did you get the instal files to show up so you could complete the install?
@@josephpesavento4513 I honestly can't recall i just followed this video guide and it worked without a hitch.
MAN... thanks for making this video, i just got my psp fixed the other day and i was kinda wanting to update it and i saw a video but seemed kinda shady and the steps didn't helped at all. your steps worked though and it was very informative and detailed. you just earned a sub and a like my friend, thanks.
New comment to an old post. Followed everything to a T and everything works! Thank you so much for these instructions!
Glad it helped!
Thank you for these detailed excellent videos. Took a few days of research to find this and the download link is broken but the instructions worked fine after I got the needed files. with all of the old psp mod stuff being outdated and brick probable this was an awesome video to find. thumbs up and subscribed
Thank you SO much for this vid! I followed along when modding my PSPGo and had no issues whatsoever :D
Great to hear!
Very clear and perfectly functional tutorial, no useless words :D
