The "Easy Operation (GC/EO) control" is really "Simple Controls" for this version. And yes, its hard doing commands and combos if are you trying to use the Arcade(AC)/Normal Controls with the GC Control. Note: I remember that the Easy Operation Control is also used in the PS2/XBox versions.
Ps2 was arcade accurate. Xbox had a terrible dpad and while the face buttons were uniform compared to the gamecube controller, the black and white buttons were an odd placement, so EO was also an option on the xbox. Despite all this, the EO versions are considered the balance patch versions, and I tend to play them for that.
@@doge-pal I'm looking for a sequel to Capcom VS. SNK 2 in the same regard that CvS2 was a sequel to Capcom VS. SNK 1. Sequels don't have to change graphical styles in games.
I would get Capcom vs SNK 1 for the PS1 Slim (AKA PS one) and Capcom vs SNK 2 for the GameCube because the PS1 Slim and GameCube have attachable monitor screens therefore making the PS1 Slim and the GameCube portable and there is an arcade stick for the GameCube as well.
If this is the same as the Classic Xbox version, then go for AC-ISM, not CG-ISM. The default for the EO versions of the game is weird as it's the so called 'Easy Operation' setting, it does take some getting used to, though I think you can assign different special moves to specific buttons in the options (I think, though I could be mistaken). While AC-ISM in this game is the regular controls, though it's understandable why it might be be a bit awkward to use a Gamecube controller for a game like this, even if it is on the regular controls. You done an excellent job though, getting to Shin Akuma and beating him with Zangief of all characters and earning well over 2000 points in the end. :)

I actually enjoyed this version very much! I think the PS2 version is too ugly, even compared to the Dreamcast version, and since was my only option to play the game at the time I trained a lot and managed to play the same way I did on my Dreamcast. It is very difficult indeed, but not impossible. Nowadays I have the Xbox version as my main version.
@@Bloodreign1 If you got a VGA set up for the Dreamcast, the huge graphical jump is very noticeable from the PS2 version. That, and Xbox can display at 480p, rather than 480i on the ps2, but the PSN version of it helps upscale the game to 720p on PS3, so there that as well.
Ha, I see someone's using composite cables because the Gamecube component cables are just too damn expensive; You could use the Wii's backwards compatibility with Gamecube games and uses the Wii's MUCH cheaper component cables to capture better quality footage. Does this game let you 100% completely remap the buttons?
Sorry but I can't test this on a Wii, I no longer own one (sold it once I got a Wii U). I actually don't own this version, I borrowed it from someone. I would have thought you could remap the buttons but I can't confirm.
@@RigbyD-d1v Ive never played it. But I believe it to be similar to the PS2 version, which I own. Its a good port, but still inferior to the Dreamcast.
@@megapokesonicx Now that I have the game on GC, you just have to get used to it. I wouldn't say I prefer it over something like, the PS2 controller, but it's still okay to use.
Starts off with the best song in the game, nice.

It's time for a CAPCOM vs. SNK 3 AND 4.
We need Capcom VS. SNK 3. But I'd rather have it be 2D like this than 3D.
I think you're looking more for a "Capcom vs. SNK 2 Deluxe" than a "Capcom vs. SNK 3".

Love seeing Zangief solo Shin Akuma.
