I watched several people over the last few months use the glue press and it won me over very quickly. I have had great deal of pain in my hands, and this glue pen has gotten rid of most of my pain. Can't wait for Jennifer M. to finally cover this. We have seen her use it.

Thank you for taking the time to do a thorough review. I too have used this tool for several months and I love it. What I did learn though is that I don't necessarily have to recap the glue. My only negative for the glue press is that when the glue is capped it doesn't store in the base, making it awkward to leave out on my desk. I like knowing I can leave it uncapped if it's seated on the base so I can leave this out on my desktop without my glue drying out.

Simon, I first noticed you using this tool while watching your videos and immediately went to the list of items you used in the video to find out how I could order it. I have arthritis in my hands and this tool makes using glue on my cards so easy! Like you I now find that I am using my tape runner much less and gluing my cards together most of the time. I highly recommend this tool!

I debated back and forth about buying this but I’m so glad I did. I really like not having to recap the glue bottle repeatedly. I think the price point is very reasonable given that you get the Nuvo glue and an empty bottle. I was having issues with my own Nuvo glue bottle getting clogged so now I can use that one too!

I don’t have issues with hand or wrist at this time. I agree with remembering to put the cap back on after each use with a regular glue bottle but haven’t had a big clogging problem so far. I really don’t have the space for it on my desk so I will hold off for now but I appreciate the well researched and honest review and all the comments.

I’ve been using my Glue Press for several months and agree with you about everything. It has changed how I glue, holding up the cardstock rather than having it sit on the craft surface and it works beautifully. I’ve been a gluer for over 10 years and have always appreciated the flexibility glued provides. I recently had an issue with the tip and learned from Customer Service to push the pin in and take it out before putting it back in so as to clear out extra glue which may stick and pull out the nozzle, like yours did. There are replacement bottles available on the website. I was having issues with the glue leaking after putting it on the stand, but will try again getting it to stay upright. Overall, I think it’s an innovative product and makes my glueing process faster and more accurate. Thanks for the great review, Simon!

Thank you for your review! I have watched a few videos reviewing the glue press, and wasn't convinced that I needed it. The tip constantly clogging made me very interested in this. I became convinced to give it a try when I saw you using it and you talked a bit about it. I trust your opinion. I ordered it as soon as it came back into stock, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I did get it out and play with it as I watched your viceo. I find it pretty impossibele to lay my wrist down and use it, but I have pretty bad arthritis. It is so much easier to just pick up what I am gluing and apply it that way, like you did with your die cuts. Thanks again for a great review.

Oh my, I LOVE this new glue press. I have some arthritis and this makes gluing so much easier. I do a lot of layering words and hold them with my needle nosed tweezers while I apply the glue. This has been a game changer for me, making the gluing process more of a "joy" in card making. Thank you for some of the detailed comments in your review to make care easier. Thank You!!!!!

Thanks for honest feedback. I like that you spoke about the cost involved. When you think about it, the price is less than many stamp and die sets and you will be using it a long time if it the right tool for you. Design and manufacture are expensive and it is important to support innovation if you can. Take care.

The same thing happened with my glue tip. I couldn’t remember if it came that way or if it became stuck. After seeing yours, I think it is supposed to be that way.
I put fabric glue in the bottle that has the needle “stuck”. That glue is thick so it is perfect for the bigger hole.
I love this tool. I have hand issues and using this helps apply glue. I never have had an issue with it not working. Once or twice it clogged, but I just stuck a pin in it and it works fine. I keep it in the holder and have never put the lid back on and have had hardly any issues.

Nuvo has great quality products. There are often details in the manufacturing and use of quality products which may not be apparent when buying off the shelf or ordering on line. Getting to see how something is used and learning tips about how to use it can be really important to customer satisfaction. I saw you using the Glue Press last year and thought it was a great product. I liked that it could apply fine lines of glue to detailed die cuts like the butterflies you used in this video. I like all of the features of this product. It's well thought out. That it's easier on the hands will be a game changer for a lot of people too! Thank you Simon for all of your excellent videos!

Doing multiples of cards can’t be accomplished without a MISTI. I have to be selective about what I buy and this is my next investment in card crafting

Thank you! I pretty much wrote it off after discovering hot water and ammonia would clean my bottle tips, today, but watched thus anyhow. This looks so much simpler the way you realistically demonstrated it. My hand does hurt trying to squeeze the bottles. I worried about sentiments, but it looks like it will work ok. I like how you showed a different angle, too. I don't think i rest my hand anyhow. I just might try this tool after seeing this. I have a friend who might enjoy this, too... we all have worn out hands but love crafting. I agree about the price and innovation. It is always a huge risk to introduce something new. I looked for something similar, but it was $119! Your fears were correct, it is out of stock everywhere! 😂 I am patient.

Thanks for a very thorough review. I love the fact you left it for a couple of weeks as I often go a week or more without crafting and my glues drive me mad 😂. Hope I can find this in the uk

Your presentation of this product was just wonderful! I think this would be very helpful and convenient for me. I had surgery on my hand and now it is hard for me to use my thumb and forefinger to pinch. I think squeezing that trigger would be a lot easier. It gets really annoying having to put the pin back in the glue bottle every time I set it down. That stand would really solve that problem. Thank you so much for this video! It was really helpful.

I appreciate the thorough review, and your honesty to talk about your experience with it. I was on the fence, but decided to try it. I love the idea especially of not having to put the pin in and out of my bottle all the time - that drives me crazy. I think it’ll be worth the price just to have that issue solved.

I will be buying the glue press. I am having trouble with thumbs and palm areas of my hands, which sometimes makes it difficult to squeeze the glue bottle. I'm thankful for a product that will help me so I can continue to make my cards. Thank you for sharing.

Great review, Simon. I appreciate all your information. I ordered via your link and thanks so much for this video. I have decided this will be very helpful to not have to put a pin in my Art Glitter glue that clogs easily. I do love Nuvo Deluxe glue too. I use it now for most of my crafting. I also recently got the full size Misti. I have the mini one. But oh my goodness, the full size one is a dream. Why did I wait so long. But I was able to get the rose quartz one. Yay.

I got the glue press a couple months ago and I really love it and don't know how I lived without it. The only problem I see with it is you need to refill it when it gets down to about 1/3 full or it is harder to use. No problem there though. I love the smaller tip because I use Bearly Art glue in it and the larger tip puts out too much glue. This is totally worth the price!!!

Great Review Simon. I am glad you showed the issue with the caps. I had my doubts about this tool as I felt it should be demoed & reviewed by someone with hand issues similar to mine. I waited until I could find a shop I could try before buying. Maymay Made It’s shop allowed me to do that. It does have a learning curve to find the best way to hold it for your hand issues. For me it is a bit big for my hand BUT so much better than hard to squeeze bottles. Now the tip not drying out while uncapped in the holder is an issue with mine. I have mine seated like yours in the video with the fine tip with the Nuvo glue & it clogs. So I switched the tips to the larger one for the Nuvo & it is better but still clogs. I too use Bearly Art glue. My press doesn’t sit in the holder as smoothly (tightly) as yours does. The pins in the caps are a bit wobbly so don’t be in a rush when capping. All that aside it is a big help for my gluing needs. A smaller version for petite hands would be awesome. Price is fair to be able to glue & craft pain free. 💜
I saw the fine tips for sale in a 2 pack. I need to check if they are the same as these for the glue press

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this tool and going over all the details so thoroughly because I was on the fence about getting it - I do a lot of fine detail work and having a fine tip glue nozzle is imperative to me - I too use the Bearly Art glue and glue marks show thru my card stock if too much glue is applied - thanks once again!

Hi Simon; I love your videos! I bought my glue press when it 1st came out but due to some health issues I haven't had the chance to try it! I'm so glad you made this video to help us! My favorite glue is the Bearly Arts too! That is the glue I plan to refill with with. I too always used tape runners but after spending alot of time making intricate cards & crafts then to hear they came apart was heart breaking! I still use full sticky backing to place card on card as if I use glue it seems to leave raised areas where glue dries but I'm learning. Thank you so much for making these videos! I switched to all of your inks & paste. Have a great day! Hugs!

I got tired of pulling a rusty pin out of my glue bottle tip.
I use a 1 or 2 drops of water in the lid of my glue, when I finish for the day. I ignore the glue in the nozzle & just give half a squirt of water from my Distress sprayer on my desk into the cap & put the tip into the water in the cap.
I hadn't used my Glossy Accents in 4 years (at least) I could not unscrew the lid without cracking it, eventually using a heat gun. So, imagine how surprised I was when the product flowed out of the bottle at my first squeeze. I'll continue, because it works, and it's free! GB

I purchased one when it first came out. I didn't enjoy it because the squeezy handle part is too wide IMO. If they reduced the size of the trigger then I'd probably try it again. I love the idea but I feel it still needs some tweaking in the design.
