Thank you so much for doing reviews like this. There are WAY TOO MANY unreliable product reviews on pretty much every site. With the ever rising prices, it's people like you - pointing out the good, the bad and the middle ground - who make it possible for buyers to make better informed decisions on purchases instead of wasting their money on something.

Not sure where y'all are purchasing your Glue Press through but Maymay Made it sells it for $34.99 and I applied my Club Member discount and got an additional 15% off. I love mine. I made 9 large beaded crosses for my grandchildren for Christmas and used my Glue Press to adhere the beads. It was perfect for gluing tiny micro seed beads down to the board. I've had no problems at all with the metal tips.

I bought this glue press, a couple of months ago. Only paid $35 and it is well worth it to me. I have arthritis in my hands and struggle with squeezing. I appreciate your opinion but for someone with problems with their hands, it's a life saver. I use mine with Art Glitter Glue.

Thanks for your review. I bought this press because continued use of my fingers to hold and squeeze the glue out has become painful. Both of the bottles I received, work. I highly recommend you contact the company you purchased the press from and request a replacement bottle. The worse thing that could happen is they would say “no”. You have a good and honest reputation in this industry and I think they would believe you and want to make you satisfied.

I absolutely love my Glue Press. I have had it for a couple months now and have not had any issues whatsoever with it. I love being able to grab it and apply glue without worrying about clogging. I accidentally left it in the stand when I went away for a week at Christmas…can’t home picked it up and still no clog…worked flawlessly. Since then I have left it in the stand without the cap and never had a problem with it!
I have recommended it to a few friends who have bought it and they love it too!

I will never buy from this company. As this product is for crafters having issues with their hands, I firmly believe this “glue gun” should be available for a third of the price, including all it comes with. Just so that these crafters can continue doing what they love. I feel like this company is taking advantage of crafters. Having issues with hands or not! Thank you for your honest opinion 👍

The same thing happened to me with the tips. BOTH of them just disappeared very soon after I starting using it! I thought perhaps they fell down inside the bottle. I used a bamboo skewer and fishes around and couldn’t find it. I ended up actually emptying the glue out hoping to find it. No luck. I contacted the company - going back and forth a couple of times on email. They said my only choice was to buy more bottles. As unhappy as I was about that, I felt I had no choice after investing so much in the unit itself. Love the press, but not happy with the company right now.

I had heard this with someone else's review as well.
If I needed to have it due to dexterity issues, I'd do it. However, her CS issues & my figuring that research & devevelopment plus manufacturing costs = huge profits per item. I will pass.
      Thanks also Sherry!

I agree with you. I am using the glue gun, but it has not been without some issues. I have not found the tip to rest well in the holder.
I actually am using a piece of silicone in the bottom of a glass with a sugarbelle icing bottle filled with my favorite glue. No drips. Super easy to squeeze.

For 40 bucks. I can buy several bottles of glue & just combine the ½ empty ones together while I use another. I have 4 or 5 tiny applicators that I refill using a syringe & Ranger's (TH) collage paste or matt medium. I store them tip down & they're always primed.
I say all this with horrible arthritis in my thumbs. Appreciate the review! This is a luxury item & not where I live.

Great tutorial about the glue press. I brought mine for $75 Australia plus shipping. Lucky my 2 bottles all complete. I feel not worth the money too. I put art glitter glue in my empty bottel. I do have hand problems but I can still use the bottles you have for my glue to. Cheaper to. As I brought it I be using mine to I gotta try reptile glue I hope I can find it as in Australia I don't know I can get it as shipping in cold temperatures they don't ship as having a hard time purchasing art glitter glue. Thank you for sharing.. ❤👍🙏😊

I also got mine for $35 shortly after it came out. I had to get on a waiting list as initially they flew off the shelves. I have hand troubles. The press allows me to be able to craft longer. I highly recommend it to those who have arthritis or any other hand mobility or pain issue that detracts from your favorite hobby.
My glue came solid not fluid. They sent a coupon to replace it but the cost was a little less than the new bottles. I used it when a free shipping deal was out. It does need a more dense glue. I put a thinner glue in the spare bottle and it flowed out.
It does not clog unless I forget to cap it overnight. All day sessions and no clogs.
    ❤ it.

Also chose to buy this product to help me have more comfort while crafting due to carpal tunnel syndrome to both wrists and this has significantly helped with my comfort level. It is very expensive, and agree not for everyone, but for me it was money well spent.

I have this glue dispenser. It is awesome! For me it was a game changer. They are a great company to work with. If you contact them I am sure they will take care of the cap that the tip came out of. I have never seen it for over $34.99. I waited to get mine once I found a site with free shipping. The glue that came with it is a thicker glue. It worked fine with the fine tip but I too filled my empty bottle with Reptile glue and put the fine tip on that bottle to use most of the time. The Reptile glue and this dispenser helps me to work faster & cleaner. No clogs or spitting & sputtering.

Thank You Sherry for doing this Review!!
I've seen people advertising this on their channels, like Simon Hurley, but they make $ off of people buying thus from their Links.
I've been on the Fence about the Glue Press the other week I was gonna buy it, but it was sold out again. Turns out Good thing it was.
After Watching ur Review here .. I Don't need it. I use needle tip bottles kinda like urs & I don't have any trouble squeezing them. Like u said, maybe down the road if that becomes a problem, I'll consider the Glue Press.
Also I Agree w/ You .. I think the Price is too High. Cuz were Paying for their Company Name. I definitely think it needs to be Cheaper!!

I love the Precision Glue Press (Press from now on) which was given to me as a gift. I was always adhesive-challenged getting glue everywhere. Since using the Press my papers are not covered with glue. The Press really does help with precision and if you keep the tip on the pad, the glue doesn't clog.
I was going to buy a second Press for my Acorn fabric glue,I use when sewing, since Acorn constantly clogs. My cousin reminded me that two bottles came with the Press. The second bottle is clear, so I can tell the different glues apart. It is wonderful and made using the Acorn fabric glue much easier.

Hi, I am enjoying your critique. I, too, had an issue with the tip of one of my bottles. The metal tip stuck to the pin in the cap, and I had to do glue bottle surgery. I got it separated by soaking cap in hot water to melt the glue and used jewelry pliers to get the pin back into the bottle. I was like you, not tempted to buy until I talked to friends who bought. I've come to reach for it every time i need liquid glue. So far, my bottle that I did surgery on is working fine now. Can't wait to see more of your videos!

I have a precision glue press and I absolutely love it. I have not had any problems with the bottles or the tips. And you can purchase separately additional glue bottles.

Thank you for this review. I have hand and finger arthritis problems and some problems with glue bottles. I also find that when i put my glue in metal tip bottles, they always clog. I have looked at this and have not purchased due to the cost. If the price comes down, i may purchase.

Thank you for your opinion on this. I have no desire to get it and now I know I won’t. I’ve seen other reviews on it and it shows me nothing.

Hi, my glue press was delivered on a very cold day too and sat on my front porch for a few hours. But I let the glue sit for a couple weeks in my craft room while I used my own glue in the other bottle and now the cold one works fine. I really like the press. I also watched Simon Hurley and he gave a few important tips about using it. Oh, one of the tips of his bottles got stuck and unable to be used too. Mine has never clogged either. Agree though that it is priced high for what it is.

Thank you! I have wondered about this product and now I know I won’t waste my money. $50 buys a lot of glue.

Sometimes your the windshield .... sometimes your the bug !!! You are right. It is very expensive. I just put my glue in a jar upside down when I am using it .... and when I am done I clean off the tip and reseal it. Where do you get the glue you are referring to. I looked an Amazon and it is not available there.

I am so sorry you had problems with your press and glue. If you contact the company, they should. Send you a new bottle of glue. I took awhile to purchase as well. I payed less than you, but I am glad I purchased it. I have problems with my hand . The first couple of presses were a little hard for me. Now the glue flows with ease. I never loose my cap and don't have to be concerned with glue clogging on my bottles. I will be purchasing the new bottles you use with the blue cap for my granddaughters. I really like the glue press. It's a winner for me.

Hey, I bought this little Sweet Petunia several weeks ago and put my reptile glue in it and I am loving it. Was a good buy for me. Don't care for their glue--I love my Reptile Glue. Thanks, Pat

I have arthritis in my hands and love this tool. I was so tired of always having my glue bottle clogging and trying to squeeze with my sore hands. It was expensive but worth it for me. I live in Australia and the exchange rate and postage was prohibitive but still happy I purchased it.
