The cult of strife has a stratagem called "flawless approach" that let one of its unit to charge while negating overwatch, using said stratagem would have prevented those bikers from loosing a wound. That being said, great game, thank you for bringing it to us :)
I'm not sure if it was missed rule, or an entertainment choice; but that was technically a one round win. RAW, the player with models left _may_ choose to continue, it's not a requirement, and the victory _could_ have been claimed at the top of the second round. Brutal victory though for sure.
The idea that the Dark Eldar are just raving ultra-hard until they're reluctantly forced to go kill something before they resume said raving is the best thing I've heard all month.
Sadly, the other 2 dakkas were dropped, it's only dakka now... However, it's still fun, and a little bit more reliable now, not that that's really what us ork players want

@@Meuduso1 Hopefully T'au get their 9e codex before their match comes up, otherwise it's not gonna be pretty. Or...maybe not. T'au Start Collecting is a pretty solid core for a T'au army, and it doesn't have to beat a meta list, just another Start Collecting box. It's not great odds, but maybe not hopeless either.
Weird, I didn't see any comments about the battleground changes after each fight, and the fact that you can see where others minis died or exploded (explosion in left low corner was the chaos spider for ex). Amazing details! Edit: saw two comments at the bottom. Still underappreciated I think.
Admech start collecting is just a transport and a squad of rangers + plus a tech priest very easy to get locked into close combat and get shredded compared to 2 squads of 5 infantry a succubus and 3 fast attack and one heavier ship I think they stand no chance. Unless Drukhari get caught out in the open with stratagem Ranger fire and get really unlucky I think Drukhari will mop the floor with admech.
So Brent Finally has a 40k Army, and all it took was midwinter painting it for him. HEHEHE, Looking forward to watching it live guys, keep up the great content.
Maybe it wasn't too fair to play Drukhari with their 9th edition rules Vs an army that doesn't have a 9th edition Codex available yet. Specially Drukhari, that are ABSURDLY OP in 9th edition.

I've played with their previous codex and won many games it's all about strategy, if the gsc had the neophytes in front, the iconward behind them, and the acolytes behind that. And the ridgerunner deployed underground it would be a different story.
This is the best battle report I have ever seen. Everything works, the dialogue, the audio recording, the painting, the people and the length of the video. Completely captured my imagination with the army walkthrough and the coloured lights. Sounds like Combichrist are playing a gig next door
TBH I would place my bets on Necrons anyway, unless TKsons will be PEZ dispenser of Mortal wounds from psykers then it's hard to overcome Command/Annihilation Barge without Anti-Tank. AP-2 bolters are good against heavy infantry, but so is Tesla Destructor.
Yaaaaaassssss!!!! Literally one of the best series ever when it comes to gameplay for 40k! Idea: start Kill Team and make a 1980’s-90’s Laser Tag themed board with teams that are like themed. Bright colors, planets, stars, neon everything! I think this would be a badass series to add to the channel. But again, just my opinion 😊. Your channel your creativity. Love the videos! You have the best miniatures channel on RUclips! Thank you for inspiring me to finally bust out my battle for macragge box set that’s been sitting unpainted on my shelf for 15 years! I’ve painted my tyranids in Ants synth wave scheme and I’m planning on how to do my marines next. I sat down and cranked out a pretty decent terrain paint job on the Aquila lander too and I’m so pleased. Only infantry and bikers (excluding genestealers) get cult creeds, the runner does NOT get it. In addition the iconward would have a 3++ due to the bladed cog +1 invuln bonus, and shotguns are assault 2
Yeah I thought this was a really half assed episode due to the GSC player DS the hq and the acos. If he hadn't there would've been a proper fighting chance.

One thing I LOVE about this series is how they were in all the blood and battle damage to the field after every match where the units died. It just adds so much to the atmosphere of the tournament!
These are amazing I just started looking into warhammer 40k, and these matches make me want to play, love the blood splatters in the arena btw, keep the episodes coming!
This was the first time in 40k video where it felt like something was happening, as well as the first time I was able to watch an entire match without fastforwarding the video or ending the video. Nice job!

Change to Twisted Helix for that +1 Strength and +2 to Advance and the game is more interesting. Setup: Hide the Ridge runner as a blip behind cover, not out in the open, equip the Neophytes with Assault weapons only Shotguns and Flamer maybe a grenade launcher. Round 1: Move the Ridge Runner from behind cover and take aim. Hopefully it hasn’t taken any damage this time. Move the Neophytes as they were and open fire. Then charge them in, they’ll be dead soon enough anyway, but maybe you can kill off all the vehicles with the S4 Neophytes, if any vehicles have already died then you may be lucky and have killed some of the passengers before charging them. Round 2: Bring the Acolytes in on the back field ready to flame and charge, hope for the best and maybe it's a closer game
I love that you add explosion blasts on the ground and blood from the last battles. Idk make a stop motion of like cleaners cleaning up the feild that would be great!
Great game and great video, masterful editing and a simple, perfect low points match. These remind me of the recon force concept from 3rd edition where there was 400 points, and no vehicles allowed.

Its dark eldar in a start collecting box set.. They will smash every faction except maybe admech.
