Niece died in France so it absolutely makes sense to come to Florida USA to panhandle for funeral expenses.
It's a Scam. Roma and Sinti do this all other the world
These Roma/Sinti (Gypsy is a dirty word apparently these days) do this all over the planet. It's all a huge scam. There are hordes of Roma/Sinti all over Europe panhandling with posters identical to this one, selling fake watches and stolen goods. They fake disabilities, they beg with small children or dogs (which they treat horribly) and in the evening they get picked up by busses or Mercedes cars. RUclips is full of videos with them and yet, if you mention they are all Gypsis, they call you racist.
She’s a liar but she could live here and send money back to help with the funeral and her travel there.. just sayin’
I have seen a video of people doing this in Las Vegas and believe it or not it looks like the same woman
Am I the only one who doesn't panhandle in Florida for funeral expenses. Send me the memo 😂😂😂😂

"WHY ARE YOU BEING NASTY?!" lmaooo
I once had a girl come up to me in the Trader Joes parking lot and give me a sob sorry about how she was pregnant, she was kicked out of her apartment at 2am that morning, etc., etc. I said No.
A month later she came up to me again in a different parking lot sobbing that she was pregnant and kicked out of her apartment at 2am that morning. I said, "Funny, you had the same story last month."
Without a word she turned and walked quickly away.
This is why I don't give out money.
There's a grifter who "works" the store parking lots along the main boulevard in our town. Dressed nicely, maybe 50, and his story is always that he's an OBGYN and has just delivered children at our local hospital (which is at least three miles from where he is). He tells a sob story about car trouble, no phone, no wallet. I've never given him money but sooo many others have. The last time I saw him he was handed $20 by a couple. When I told them Peter was a grifter they just said it was only $20. OK for him, but one woman found out after her son gave Peter his birthday money.
It's sad we have to be so cynical.
Hope you reported it
There was a guy around my school’s city last year who was similar. My bf and I gave him food the first time we met him but from then on every time he asked we would say no. Then one time he asked me for money and I said no and he asked if it’s because he’s black… I said no, it’s because I’ve seen you before and you’ve asked me many times and I am a college student who has no money. He tried to backpedal and be like “Nah I recognized you, I was just tryna say thank you” and all that. What a character.
In my town there was a woman who had tried using a baby carrier with a realistic sleeping baby doll in it for half a year before she got investigated for child endangerment an CPS (I think) finnaly got involved. The scam did her freaking well but when locals an officers found it suspicious that she was turning things down like a free baby stuff and even a free place to live at one point, everyone got hella suspicious.
@@BlitheApathyThat is sick. 😡

Better than swearing on someone who actually exists, like a mother.
@@assassindelasaucisse.4039Both instances are meaningless. It doesn’t mean you are telling the truth or that if you lie something will happen to whoever you swear on.
Consider a mother who confidently utters "I swear on my son" while telling such a blatant lie.
Right?! While throwing a hissy fit like a child…I hope someone shows her the video for some much needed self reflection
Especially when she said that she needed to get home to him because his Dad had died... what a tramp.
Anyone who swears on a child life is lying. Anyone who says I ll be honest with ya now , is lying. Anyone who swears to god , is lying.Anyone who swears on their beloved moms name, is Lying.

she's not going through that hard of time, she's fat. These are immigrant scumbags from a place other than Mexico.
Finally! A cop that calls a spade a spade! They’re not coddling this scammer. Nice work officers, love to see it
The cops are far more patient than I would be with that act from the "lady" who got caught scamming WalMart.
In the old days, the scammer would be asked a few sentences and if the crook lied or tried their spiel, the cop would conk them with the flashlight and tell them to get lost. We didn't have half the scams we have now.
*Struggling with all their might* "IM NOT RESISTING!" never gets old
At least the last girl handled hers with dignity!! I know she fucked up but she took it like a champ!

"Call me a lawyer!" "OK, you're a lawyer."
Out in CA there was a woman pulling a similar scam with younger kids - They'd wander around parking lots either asking for donations for injured family or selling roses for a 'donation'.
I declined to help because as I was going into the store I saw them get out of a newer Mercedes.
So when they tried to beg money from me as I was heading back to my car - I told them I was onto their scam. They opted to get back into their car and leave.
The more 'genuinely', 'honestly', "I'm not lying', 'to be truthful', 'I'm not going to lie to you' a person drops the worse it looks for them.
All they do is scam.

Those first people are why I never trust anyone on the street asking for money. It just seems to be a lie more often than not.
There was a lady pulling this scam in N Texas. Of course the lady in front of me gave her money so the scammer was about to approach my car, too. I sped off.
Many scams are so obvious but people without 2 brain cells to rub together buy it hook, line and sinker, and help contribute to the problem.
I see many say “it’s not my place to judge.” Yeah it absolutely is because they’re contributing to the scams.
They are Romanian gypsies. It should tell you all.
@FaithG-tx2hw If you believe and can afford charity that's nice and noble, but giving money to the same people can also be a problem: They can get entitled and angry if you suddenly stop giving them money and then start to pester you, which can be a serious problem if they frequent areas you also have to

she obviously didn’t since it wasn’t the first time she’s done it considering they’ve caught her before. What bugs me the most is how she got her two MINOR sons involved.
Of course not. These romanian gypsy scammers see this as normal way of life. There are entire small towns of these people, that go all over the world f-ing people out of money. One month abroad scamming will support their family back home for a year.
We hate them here in western europe.

Tbh, the first one is just a reminder abt how you gotta watch it when people ask for money in the streets. As much as I feel bad for them, I have major trust issues. And it sucks for those who actually are in need because of how dishonest people are.

Not only fulfilling a stereotype of the homeless being crooked, they're also fulfilling a broader stereotype of Romanians being thrieves and scammers, lol
We have that same funeral scam going on at 3 intersections, at least, in my town, by different people. Nothing opens the wallets more than feeling sorry for someone. But given we have a significant homeless population and there is one or two people at every major intersection it's nearly impossible to stop. Yeah I got taken by a Romanian woman last year. Bought $200 worth of clothes and food and stuff for her. She turned around and returned everything to the store for the money. When I handed everything over to her she had a bunch of other stuff in bags that people had bought for her. 3 months later she approaches me in the same store and hands me a card saying she speaks no English and she needed money to buy things for her sick mother. I told her I recognized her and knew what she was up to and to leave me alone. I then told store security about her and she snuck off through the store trying to leave without being seen. Police got her outside and I haven't seen her since.
Don't give handouts to strangers, then. Buy them a can of food and a blanket or something if you really think they need legitimate help. Homeless shelters are everywhere and it isn't your job to look after impoverished people.
The scammer lady most presumably lived in Germany before. She accidentally used the word "ich" when she meant "I" several times. And later when she pronounced the word "autobus" she did it in the German way to pronounce. So I am glad she is not leaving in Germany anymore.

How Scan & Go works: You scan every single item and you get one QR code for everything. You then have to use that one code to pay for all the items at the checkout. Period. (I still think it's a stupid idea, too easy to scam. Especially since every Walmart I've ever gone to wants to see your receipt...)
My walmart is just asking for people to steal because they never check receipts and hell if the alarm goes off no one is there to check to make sure you aren’t stealing.
There has actually been problems with the self checkouts. Some people have been falsely accused only to later be exonerated by cameras.

So my brother would hold signs at intersections claiming our mother was dying of cancer and all kinds of other lies. For that reason, and clearly from the first woman, I never ever trust panhandlers in intersections begging.
It makes me angry when people donate to these scammers. By me there's a scammer who pretends to play the violin in a store parking lot. I call these scumbags out every single time and they always resort to not speaking English, even though their sign is written in it.
I see scruffy looking guys standing beside the road asking for money from people who are stopped at traffic lights - I recently told one who claimed he'd lost his wallet a couple of days ago and needed bus fare to get somewhere to piss off and go get a job as it was lunchtime on a weekday. He smelled strongly of alcohol as well.
Why do people carry multiple fake IDs at the same time. This makes almost 100% no sense and is just asking for trouble.
The kind of people who think they're untouchable and won't be stopped by the police in the first place, their first of many mistakes
They may have been to get into nightclubs and bars, but you can never be 100% sure.
A lot of college kids in the US get fake IDs and never throw them away, they’re funny and reminder of fun times, like a grade school photo ID. It’s definitely stupid, but not uncommon. I’m sure fake ID charges get tacked on in situations like this all the time.
NGL...I did exactly what the lady at 12:00 did recently but it was for a bag of dog food and some milk, bread and a few other groceries 😕 I scanned a few face mask packets in front of the bar codes and it only came up as maybe $6 but the lady was so kind and understanding. I was absolutely MORTIFIED and I reacted the exact same way as this lady, having a massive panic attack and bawling my eyes out, not because I got caught but because I was so embarrassed that I had to do that to feed my dogs and kids. She was very understanding and told me she wasn't going to call the police because she knew how hard things have been for families financially the last few years and I was only trying to steal basic necessities, not makeup or random items. But I can honestly say I will not be doing that again. No matter how bad I am struggling. Its hard being a single mother of 3 children and 2 rescue dogs but it does not give anyone the right to steal. I wasn't thinking clearly because I was under a lot of stress but that still does NOT excuse my actions and I am damn lucky I got a nice manager. Any other person would have called the police and had me charged. She even felt so bad for me that she gave me a hug on the way out of the store. I wish I could go back and thank her for treating me like a human being and not just seeing a thief, but unfortunately I am not allowed back there for at least half a year 😮💨
-I know that was REALLY long sorry lol. Just thought I would share for anyone thinking of doing this. Its really not worth it no matter how much you think you need to.
It's so crazy to me that stealing $600 worth of goods is considered a petty crime.
Same here. In other states, over $500 of stolen goods bumps up the charge. Weird how it's considered petty there.
No kidding. If someone stole $600 out of my wallet I sure wouldn't consider it petty.
I never believe anyone collecting for a funeral!
that cop in the last video has that "ok lets get this over with" voice. bro has had a long day
“Laura tried to outsmart the police with her polite behaviour”…
So being respectful towards a fellow human being is now a considered a manipulation?? 🤔
Well done society! 👏😂
It makes me so happy when scammers get into serious trouble with the cops. They had it coming. As someone who was once a victim and played into the hands of scammers like these people, it brings me so much joy knowing justice was served for their awful crimes!
18:15 Why don't those cops understand and listen to Paula? She literally spend $250, and that means she wasn't stealing!... 🙄🤣
Funnily enough, if they didn’t have her dead to rights, it was a believable story. The whole time, im thinking, “I’d believe her if i didn’t watch the video”
"I can't help a liar" 💯
The second thief… “if there’s a god please help me”, jejejejejeje!
The last girl who got busted for DUI is an example of how one should be respectful to the police.
It's crazy how people will do or say literally ANYTHING to get cops to let them go. Kids, medical emergencies, injuries during arrest.
It's all hilarious because you know when it's legit and when it's not because after 5 minutes, suddenly, it's not a problem anymore. Like the chick who "couldn't breathe" until she suddenly could and never mentioned it again.
Yes, it becomes nonstop babble
Shame on that first woman. Disgusting.
Just your typical Romanian lol
The “vroom” caption at 5:05 sent me immediately💀💀
"If there is a God..." Never in my life did I think I would hear a suspected criminal pull an escape tactic that was _that desperate._
Hey Mr.Broken I feel like we should put more awareness into the first video. I live here in Las Vegas and we had similar people doing these scams claiming they lost a family member who were children and were from the same place which is Romania. I have a feeling it’s all over the US and we should be tracking down these folks because they take advantage of those who genuinely think there doing something good.
Yea clasic eastern european scammerz
I lived and worked in Las Vegas for about 5 years, and saw *all sorts of scams* happening there, most of them to get gambling money, or money to buy liquor. (or both), many even involved whole (supposed) families who, at the end of the day would climb into high-priced cars and drive home to their fancy homes.
I Can't Breathe! I Can't Breathe! I'm Laughing too hard at this clip!🤣
I can't breathe I'm having an anxiety attack. Cop - "Just breathe "
This is why I ignore people on the side of the road, they are sometimes probably more well off than I am, just cosplaying as a broke person who just doesn't want to get a job. I am sure there are some genuine people in need of help out there, but these unfortunate people ruined it for me.
Lady number 2 “call me a lawyer!” Okay, you’re a lawyer, now stop resisting..
i cant imagine how it would feel to get caught exactly in the act lmao
I genuinely feel bad for laura as i believe she probably hadn’t drank all day, she didn’t seem intoxicated at all. Unfortunately alcohol stays in your breath for a while
This probably varies from person to person, different metabolisms. At least she's calm and polite, despite being a fraudster, lol
A lot of people dont realize it but what could have happened is she had a drink right before driving. If you drink a single beer and then blow a breathalyzer the bac reading will be extremely high because it takes time for it to leave your mouth.
A great way to avoid this inconvenience is to NOT FUCKING DRINK AND DRIVE. @@DirtyStinky
Ya my buddy lost a job that way.. got hammered the night before, slept it off but apparently not long enough and went to work the next day and they tested him and it was still in his system
@@socksandshoes8033 Buddy youre smoking dick if you think its somehow immoral to have a beer or two and drive yourself home. How about instead people know their limits and don’t make bad choices when they know they have to drive themselves home. You people are insufferable.
Last girl was so sweet. She's fairly earnest, and obviously have followed the crowd in the past.
“where were you born”
“what do you mean where. a hospital”
ok yeah i believe the disabled claim
Seems to have some merit 😂
There are effing cameras EVERYWHERE. People thinking they can get away with $600 of unpaid merchandise are totally brain fried.
Oh, the charming people of Walmart never disappoint in the drama department 😂
The last girl just seems like a typical college kid that made a mistake and just rolled with the punches which is probably your best option
The last case. How was she scamming? Being drunk and lying or having multiple fake I.D.'s in her wallet?
