We're glad you're all enjoying our blast from the past overviewing the new Harmony Guitar range! Make sure to stay tuned as we have plenty more Harmony videos on the way, going in-depth with each of the new models! 🤘
I recently inherited my late grandfather’s 1959 Harmony H65 archtop and H306 amp. Had the amp serviced and it sounds great. Guitar will be next. I love hearing his “voice” come through his rig 25 years after his passing.
This was a great idea to bring these back, as I don't think I'd want to wade into the murky waters of trying to find a good vintage Harmony guitar, and getting them playable would likely be a challenge. A brand new line of American-made reissues makes more sense to me, as someone who is neither a collector or a guitar tech, just looking for something different than Fender or Gibson.
Oh Captain my Captain… You have been practicing! I've been watching Anderton TV for about four years now and I will say if you can do it I better get on the stick and do it too because although I've been playing while you've passed me up. Which is not saying much but still you have improved your improvisation multi fold! I guess it's another product of Covid but nevertheless I'm impressed! Love the show as always.
Nice to see Harmony back, and great jam today, Lee & Pete, thanks. Folks, if you've not see it, 'The Captain Meets His Dad' episode is well worth watching from start to finish, even if you have to watch it in instalments!
My first electric was a 1967 Harmony Rocket with dual mustache pickups. Bought it in 1995 for $75 at a pawn shop. I still have it and it's my favorite. All I've done to it is replace the tuners and clean the pots. Anyone who says the vintage ones are crap haven't played one.
My father has a late 50’s Harmony Sovereign acoustic, fond memories of singing along as a family with my dad playing and singing. He still has it, but it’s confined to its case now as the bridge is lifting.
I'm actually playing my dads 56' harmony branded holiday h16 bobkat in my profile picture. Such a unique sound. They aren't worth very much at all, but I wouldn't sell either way. Love it.
With the best will in the world, the lovely pic of your dad in 1964 just screams Alan Partridge to me. (Harmony? They've re-badged it, you fool). The recent video interview you did with your pop is one of the most engaging and touching I've seen.
We hipsters from the 60s played the acoustic Harmony Sovereign H1260 which I still have mine from 1972. Many early blues players like Mance Lipscomb played Harmony too. Cheers, sideman
Just a quick one to say that your service is top notch captain. Ordered the boss sy1 at 2 o'clock yesterday and it was at my door at 9 this morning! 😊👍
Man is it just me or does the Captain vibe well with that one in the intro. That’s a great neck pup tone. It’s like a fat Fender with that hollow tubular tone
My first ever electric guitar was a Harmony. I bought it and a matching color amp and cabinet from a guy in high school for $40 in 1987. Wish I still had it.
My first guitar is a Harmony Classical I bought in 1970 new. I recently replaced the tuning machines and made it playable for the first time in probably 30 years.
Hi again...just come over from the juno vid and again would like to let you know that I am listening without headphones on a laptop not renowned for quality sounds out of the speakers and these guitars have done something magical at Andertons, the sound from the vid's is in my opinion, is quite awesome, who needs computers and DAW's. inspired your playing me thinks. Ta for now.
I started learning to play the guitar in 1967, and it was an acoustic. For Christmas of 1969 my folks gave me a Harmony electric guitar. They got it from the Sears catalogue for around $40 American.
I tried a used one at guitar center the fret works is so well done. Checked a new one to be sure if the used was worked on, but seems the new one also had the same amazing curved fret work done so well.
My first guitar was a Harmony Bobkat. That was the late 60's early 70's , but in the early 80's it disappeared! Stolen? I will probably never know. I've been drooling ever since this new line of Harmony guitar came out. I will own a Silhouette!!! ✌👽👍🎸🎼🎶🎵🧠🌌♾
Wow Lee! That outro was amazing. Pete of course great as always, but man, I actually think I preffered Lee in that outro :D Nasty and gnarly - beautiful!
My first guitar was a Harmony acoustic and I still have it 30 years later and I have an old 1970s H-802 in mint condition. Also so have my oldest daughter the middle name Harmony since playing guitar means so much too me
I love my mid-60s MIA Harmony H72V (w/factory Bigsby and gold foil DeArmond pups). Weighs almost nothing and has the grooviest vintage vibe. I've only had it a few years but they cost $249.50 in 1967 - which would be almost $2k today!
My first guitar was Harmony Rocket single cut semi and I had a National amp. It had one knob to turn it on and off plus it was the volume control. Tube amp of course.
Awesome! I've been really interested in the new Harmony's for a while. I love their retro vibe and unique styling. Everything I've seen about them indicates that they are seriously good. The price for a somewhat "niche" USA-built guitar is nice too. I'll be in the market for a new electric in a few months' time, and I want something distinct from all my others (sound- and looks-wise), so one of these could tick all the proverbial boxes.
Great outro jam! My parents bought me a Harmony 12-string semi-hollow electric for my 13th birthday. I was thrilled until I realized what they had saddled me with. But at least my first guitar wasn’t a cheap acoustic. ;-)
Love the channel, entertainment galore. I would like to hear a bit more from Pete. I get the idea he has to squeeze his opinions in as fast as he can between Lee doing his stuff?
My very first instrument purchase was a Harmony bass guitar in 1978. It was a copy of the Gibson EB-3 (SG bass). I ordered it from a JC Penney catalog for $69. It wasn't a bad bass.
Made me homesick! My first guitar was a mid 60s Harmony red with white pickguard S-style with a little reverb and tremolo Silvertone. Rocked me some Crimson and Clover riffs on that bad boy... both are looooong gone now unfortunately
My first guitar was a Harmony. Around '85, Sears model, the cheapest of the cheap. Unfortunately, mine was a piece of crap. Lol. A friend of mine had one that was a step above mine in the range and his was pretty great. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
Wouldn’t say I would purchase one to be my go to instrument, but would definitely love to have one in the stable for some inspiration when things get a little stale.
I do believe the vintage Harmony guitars are undervalued and under appreciated. I played many ‘Cheapies’ at Sears in the 60’s and some were awesome but many were almost unplayable. These new Harmony guitars look well made and sound great. I’m interested.
Man, these are SO cool. The fact that they’re handmade by the guys and girls at Heritage and FULL NITRO finish at that price is wild.
Yeah its freakin awesome. Vibey sounds from these axes.
We're glad you're all enjoying our blast from the past overviewing the new Harmony Guitar range!
Make sure to stay tuned as we have plenty more Harmony videos on the way, going in-depth with each of the new models! 🤘
Play some Ritchie Valens - A Harmony guitar pioneer.
Please do a "Harmony-will it chug?" collab episode. Actually, don't.
Lee has gotten so much better, damn
My first guitar was a child’s harmony from a Sears catalogue. Thanks for the content 😀
Same here, my first electric, roughly 1982, sunburst Harmony strat copy from the Sears Christmas catalog.
Mine was too! We lived in Alaska and dad mail ordered it for me. Great memories!
Same here, red strat. Strings were about 8 inches off the fretboard and almost impossible to play. However, learned my first Kiss song on it.
I recently inherited my late grandfather’s 1959 Harmony H65 archtop and H306 amp. Had the amp serviced and it sounds great. Guitar will be next. I love hearing his “voice” come through his rig 25 years after his passing.
I've been on a total Andertons binge the last couple of days. All I've done is work, play guitar and watch like six hours of Andertons videos
Ron Jeremy is somewhere right now combing his moustache to that intro track
😂😂😂I think he's in jail tho but I feel ya!
That would be that LA county jail to be more precise
This was a great idea to bring these back, as I don't think I'd want to wade into the murky waters of trying to find a good vintage Harmony guitar, and getting them playable would likely be a challenge. A brand new line of American-made reissues makes more sense to me, as someone who is neither a collector or a guitar tech, just looking for something different than Fender or Gibson.
@Lawrence Gillespie. Yes. What makes sense to you makes sense to me. I'd like some other color options. Even wood finishes.
I've been eying the Juno since I saw Jonathan Koh's review of it. It's only the snow and sheer will power that's stopped me from buying it.
I didn't know you played guitar! I've been binge watching your videos lately. Love your channel!
same hahaha
Mostly the snow
Oh Captain my Captain… You have been practicing! I've been watching Anderton TV for about four years now and I will say if you can do it I better get on the stick and do it too because although I've been playing while you've passed me up. Still have my Harmony Rocket from the 70s. Glad to see them being reintroduced to a new generation.
That intro was so in the pocket, I was hearing horns in my head !
Nice to see Harmony back, and great jam today, Lee & Pete, thanks. Folks, if you've not see it, 'The Captain Meets His Dad' episode is well worth watching from start to finish, even if you have to watch it in instalments!
I still have my grandpa's 1955 Harmony Stratotone hollow body electric. Was my first guitar I started on in the mid 90s.
Fantastic looking guitars, and Lee's playing has improved so much over the years - fantastic in fact.
Bought a Silhouette a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. Looks good, plays and feels great, and just might buy a Comet next...
My father has a late 50’s Harmony Sovereign acoustic, fond memories of singing along as a family with my dad playing and singing. He still has it, but it’s confined to its case now as the bridge is lifting.
Loving these jams
Ooh, that intro was sooo funky, I still got stank face! True playas, bravo!!
The end of the jam was just 🔥
I'm actually playing my dads 56' harmony branded holiday h16 bobkat in my profile picture. Such a unique sound. They aren't worth very much at all, but I wouldn't sell either way. Love it.
Just bought the silhouette in white and god damn it is amazing!!! What a neck! Blown away
One of your best intros ever...kudos gents
Harmony rocket owner here I have had mine for 47 years and still love those 3 De Armonds
Great price for USA made guitar plus something a bit different. I like!
Best intro jam yet! Captain gettin' his groove on!
What a great intro jam. And really nice guitars as well.
I truly love the way Pete impresses himself as much as us!!! Great video guys!
With the best will in the world, the lovely pic of your dad in 1964 just screams Alan Partridge to me. (Harmony? They've re-badged it, you fool). The recent video interview you did with your pop is one of the most engaging and touching I've seen.
Love my fenders and Gibson, but for $1200 (US) a pop I might start a harmony collection 😍🔥
Best jam since my morning donut!! Awesome..
My first was a Harmony accoustic my dad picked up used for $3.00 and a cigarette. Ha! We played that thing to death. Great memories..... Thanks!
I’m sold on these with just that intro jam!
Love it could listen all day!
Man is it just me or does the Captain vibe well with that one in the intro. That’s a great neck pup tone. It’s like a fat Fender with that hollow tubular tone

Capt. you need to do a Captain meets the Surfrajettes their awesome.
They make such great and unique instruments.
Oooooh these look sick! Plus locking tuners!? That kinda surprised me.
Lee, your guitar playing was great well done captain
The Captain getting some chops man. Great jam fellas
Pete makes everything sound good...damn!
@Bogey no he isn't. Its nice to see how much he has progressed in these few years he's been playing in the videos. ✌❤
Pete brings me great joy and life.
Captn pretty tight on the "Stonesy" jam. I know who the Stones should get when Keeth passes the torch.. Danish fire on the solos!
I have a flametop Juno. Great, great guitar, unbelievable pickups.
Lovely guitars, great channel and great videos Andertons. I know a lot of this is marketing but you guys seem like genuinely good people.
Wow - that guitar that your dad is holding? I used to have that exact model!! Bought from Music City in Worcester in about.... 1990 I think?
I really dig the les paul style one that captain plays in the outro!
I started learning to play the guitar in 1967, and it was an acoustic. For Christmas of 1969 my folks gave me a Harmony electric guitar. They got it from the Sears catalogue for around $40 American.

Much respect to owner for setting up shop in U.S.A. Wishing company great success.
loving this, how did I miss this, I love it when you review, well, shall we say not them two!
My first guitar was a Harmony Bobkat. That was the late 60's early 70's , but in the early 80's it disappeared!
Stolen? I will probably never know.
I've been drooling ever since this new line of Harmony guitar came out. I will own a Silhouette!!!
✌👽👍🎸🎼🎶🎵🧠🌌♾
Guys that outro jam was 🔥🔥🔥
Brilliant. The tune reminded Me of 70s USA sitcom songs.
Oh the funk 👍🏼 i want one......
I had that same guitar your dads holding in 1964, wish i still had it. Also had a Boossy & Hawks acoustic
Sounded like a 70s porno soundtrack.....so I’m told 😏🎸👄🍌
Seems like you had a similarly misspent youth as me.
That's how we all find out about that.
What is this “porno” of which you speak? I’ve never heard of porno... is what I tell my wife.
I was thinking a funkier version of the Barney Miller theme.
I’ve had my eye on these for years, beautiful guitars!
Man, the Silhouette looks so good.
Wow Lee! That outro was amazing. Pete of course great as always, but man, I actually think I preffered Lee in that outro :D Nasty and gnarly - beautiful!
Just Lee’s first couple notes were so baller
My first guitar was a Harmony acoustic and I still have it 30 years later and I have an old 1970s H-802 in mint condition. Also so have my oldest daughter the middle name Harmony since playing guitar means so much too me
I feel like a vintage alternative myself from time to time. Cheers Captain and Pete!!
Really dig the sound. But what I like more is how much better the captain has got since the first time I seen him play.
That Rebel looks ace!
Awesome! My very first guitar was a Harmony Strat Style from the JC Penny Catalog back in the early 90's
Love those jams. It's good for practicing bass stuff while watching
I’ve had the Harmony Rebel for a while now and man... it sings! But cleans up really nicely for ambient playing as well!
Love the simplicity of these Harmony guitars, what more do you need on a guitar?
They need to bring back the Ritchie Valens signature model.
Awesome! I've been really interested in the new Harmony's for a while. I love their retro vibe and unique styling. Everything I've seen about them indicates that they are seriously good. The price for a somewhat "niche" USA-built guitar is nice too. I believe Heritage Guitars is building these at their Michigan (former Gibson) facility. The quality should be off the charts.
Southern rock& the cult feeling tone!👍
Groovy intro. Love it. 3:05
took a cheeky peek the pricing is actually quite good 🤟🏻
Love the channel, entertainment galore. I would like to hear a bit more from Pete. I get the idea he has to squeeze his opinions in as fast as he can between Lee doing his stuff?
another great jam from lee and pete
Pete's stank face jamming out on the Juno is all the review I need! Wish they had more paint/pick guard options though.
When did Harmony turn awesome!?!?!?!? Way to go!!
I can see myself buying that purple silhouette and modding the hell out of it
Yessss been waiting for this video forever!
My first guitar was a Harmony. Around '85, Sears model, the cheapest of the cheap. Unfortunately, mine was a piece of crap. Lol. A friend of mine had one that was a step above mine in the range and his was pretty great. I'm looking forward to seeing more!
I’ve got the silvertone version of the one Lee’s dad is holding, it’s still my favourite guitar
Wouldn’t say I would purchase one to be my go to instrument, but would definitely love to have one in the stable for some inspiration when things get a little stale.
Loving my Silhouette, was a genuine surprise how great of a guitar it is. When is the Comet semi hollow getting released?!
I really dig the Silhouette, super clean looking.
Love the intro jam - Captain sounding particularly tasty. Always wanted a Harmony.
For a USA made guitar those look very interesting!
I do believe the vintage Harmony guitars are undervalued and under appreciated. I played many ‘Cheapies’ at Sears in the 60’s and some were awesome but many were almost unplayable. These new Harmony guitars look well made and sound great. I’m interested.
