Folks that bought into Tidal gotta feel dumb AF lol..... This whole "buying black owned" when pushed by entertainers comes at the detriment to our community, we don't need "more music" platforms, we need more schools, black-owned construction companies and property management companies, even black owned furniture companies or cars. Folks over here praising these entertainers are goofy. Jay the GOAT of Rap AND being trickery lmao
Tidal wasn't about starting our own thing, Jay SOLELY did that to force the "higher ups" to give him a seat at the table. He couldn't careless if it actually competed with Apple, the fast growth alone and his ability to get some of the biggest artists to join him was enough for him to be taken as a serious threat. Notice ever since Jay started sending those serious shots with certain business moves he has all these NFL, NBA, political, government relationships. Tidal accomplished everything Jay wanted it to accomplish. Despite Jay f'ing a lot of people over on the way to the top, in the end, once he got there, he's brought A LOT of people with him and is now known for what he does behind the scenes for a lot of people who wouldn't have access to guys that sit at the table.
I disagree because we most own the things that we do or are apart of that being sport music entertainment or business etc so if you’re a musician own your masters etc
If you recall correctly people were having a hard time joining in the business model of Tidal that’s why it wasn’t as successful as it could have been unfortunately. Maybe next time that concept of ownership comes around people and artists themselves will get it
@@hakshustletv agree and disagree at the same time Jay did say « I can’t help the poor if I’m one of them »… soooo yes
You have to implement Jay Z’s indirect and subtle approach of doing this when you aren’t a very outspoken and opinionated person. Lets take Kanye for example, he has a cult like following but unlike Jay Z, Kanye is VERY outspoken and opinionated and willing to take all the heat that comes with the rash things he say. Both their strategies can work; Jay’s is more safe and deceptive while Kanye’s is more high risk/high reward.💯
That’s a smart point
This actually a smart point
I can tell you are a smart, deep thinker.
Very deceptive… like sell your momma for a dollar type shit…
Why "Deceptive" tho? Jayz is where he is because his works obviously bought value to somebody's life. How did Jayz ever decieve you as an Individual/Collective by making music about his personal life experiences. Lol, 😅
Jay-z said it himself: "I'm not a businessman I'm a BUSINESS man"
His fans are the type of people I consider the dangerously smart, they're just smart enough to have the misconception they're special and intelligent because they're Jay-Z fans, who's more intellectually stimulating than like 85% of rappers, but too dumb to realize they're obsessed with a fraud that sells them out with most of his products or actually contribute anything of real value to a conversation.
@@michaelturley8222 intellectual stans 😂
@michaelturley8222 I have noticed this to! I call them smart-dumb people. Just smart enough to ask questions but not smart enough to look further than vague, emotional and empty ideas. Conspiracy theorists fit in this category a lot.
Not a hip hop example but Andrew Tate mastered this principle
Kanye definitely has the strongest cult .
Kanye just has fans apart of his cult. Jay has just as many fans and the people in the entertainment industry as his cult.
Jay is top of the cult (boule) but the boule are below the bloodlines
Nah Taylor swift
Nicki Minaj does….
@@sharkyshark6760honestly, a lot of female artists have crazy dedicated fans
In my opinion, I believe a hip hop figure that exemplifies this law is Nicki Minaj.

Jayz worst business decision was taken his music off all steaming platforms for a decade,it created a disconnect between him and gen z
he's a billionaire he probably doesn't care at this point
Same thing happened with Prince's catalogue a near decade of 98-05 born people don't know about his Music.
This is so good. Thank you for putting this together sir. Can’t believe I’ve never heard anyone say this stuff yet. Good work.

The people in Marcy Projects saying risking money on bitcoin was better served in stocks were right. Yeah bitcoin 2.5x since 2022 but Meta 5x and NVIDIA did 10x and those things ultimately have a product behind them
Anyone that has low income got to take their time into building life changing wealth its about starting small , u got to learn how to crawl before u learn how to walk also one reason why its hard for some ppl to build wealth is because they want it way too bad so ppl create the struggle of waiting in their own mind and that is the real struggle , the struggle does not come from the process of building wealth
Started following you when you were small had no idea the content would level up so much . Very different and interesting content and discussions I definitely fuck with it , keep it up bruh you killin this shit 👏🏾💪🏾
Thank you man, it's really appreciated.
That thumbnail is craaaaazy💀
Out of all the laws you mentioned i may have followed three unconsciously
Spot on! This is amazing!
I love this series keep it up this is very uniqully done.
please complete the series bro, that's top tier content, after you finish it you could keep doing this rap : books type essays that's so hot
This was a great breakdown and example of the law
Jay Z does what makes sense. Whenever I did things that made sense I made enemies lol. Doing what makes sense is harder than you think too.
Trampling over other human beings for social status and riches makes sense to you? No wonder why sickos like Jay get away with so much
This video is high level content
I do feel like Kanye has a stronger cult. His followers will literally excuse anything he says and justify it as marketing genius. I'm on those former people.
Great video 👍🏿
It’s gonna be hard when J realises he can’t take that money with him.
Jayz: "I can't wait to give this to my children." You do know that there are parents out there who are unselfish, right?? You know, the ones that create generational wealth for their offspring.. Shocker, right??😱
Oh you’re one of them
why poor people always say this bs to rich people lol!!
Thank you 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

And I can't help the poor if I'm one of them,
So i got rich and gave back thats the win win.
My boy yassine at it again!
Im not gonna lie. Jay is a good pick for this law. Personally i thought you'd use Nicki Minaj as the person with the Cult like Following and making people step outside themselves. Just crazy.
But i get why you picked Jay. His use of the law brings the most profit, he does it on a much riskier/ballsy scale & in a much bigger platform. Everything he does business wise is making national news. Everybody else gets Hip-Hop media platforms and B tier platforms talking about them.
He never reveals to much...this is him to A T.

I dont want to know about the universe where Ye only released the Life of Pablo on Tidal. Yikes, I'm glad he didn't keep that promise.

I genuinely love your videos but you also need a fact checker on your team. There's always just one or two things that aren't correct. Sometimes there are a few things that are a little disingenuous too, like in this video:
1. Apple Music never existed when Tidal was launched, so Tidal wasnt created to compete with them. Tidal launch with JAY-Z and other celebs was March 2015, Apple Music launched June 2015, Amazon Music streaming service fully launched in Oct 2016. It was definitely launched as an alternative to Spotify.
2. The Cristal thing, that statement that the CEO made, he ended it with "I'm sure Dom or Krug would love to have their business", that explicitly means he doesn't want their business. It's disrespectful.
What did Jay Z have on that Dorsey guy? Maybe he got “honey-potted”?
When I was growing up my dad used to say all these things about JayZ and look up to him and tell me all these great things that he did and I just thought he was a bad rapper never hit on any songs I was just becoming a Gucci Mane fan a big Gucci Mane fan and alll the stuff he said Jay Z did in the business world i saw 50 Cent doing it not JayZ JayZ ultimately a lame because he changed his music Nobody gives af who is richer than who its not about that it's about Who can have longevity and last the longest Thats why i will alwqys do the money phone If im up $300,000 or 1 Billipn either way im in the one percent I never gave af qhat Jayz was talkin about not because he boujee because i love that boujeee shit but because he doesnt rap or care about the culture anymore My favorite rappee is 2chainz 2chainz has been rapping since i was in 8th grade Hes still puttin out fire and trendy albums Thats who i would wanna be not JayZ I also wanna say i loke your channel.a lot more youre stating more facts and not a s cyncical as your early days i hope you stay like that
respectfully...fohsis, if Wop was ya fav rapper and now its 2chainz it makes sense why you dont like jay and think he a bad rapper lol . its ya opinion tho...my opinion is that your opinion dont matter. mad love tho.
Wats poppin y’all?
Jay-Z is an amazing artist & he’s always been honest about his financial aspirations. The man cultivated a mafia level of maneuvering, if anything a Jay fan actually likes that. That tidal move was whack but an attempt to save face that he actually succeeded in. As far as maintaining the initial mission of Tidal, that was abandoned. I never bought into Tidal, seemed like a cash grab to me from the jump. However nothing else in this video seems particularly nefarious to me. Kanye has way more cultish fans than anyone. Jay is actually smart which is why people respect him.
I enjoyed watching this video.
Jay z got a few minors under his belt but since he plays his role he won’t get took down
And you know this for a fact beyond mere speculation how? I’m not saying you’re wrong or right, just questioning the accusations you’re publicly spewing.
He ain't Diddy. It wouldn't matter. Beyonce and Blu have good names. The family business is going nowhere. Just change the figurehead.

It’s funny to me that jay Z doesn’t understand that crystal isn’t super enthusiastic about rappers taking them on. I find it funny because it’s so normal for us Europeans to want to have nothing to do with the American culture when it comes to luxury items. In our eyes America is great for lots of things but not class. We appreciate subtlety especially in wealth. But American luxury is something’s very loud, that is something that we really don’t like. We find it so normal to dislike this however that we will make comments like the owner of crystal did. For that I offer my apologies to my American brothers. There is no justification for looking down on something who buys your product.
No forces
Im not sure what this critique is about because in those verses he speaks to other rappers and influencers with real money using himself in some of those examples.

Hello helloyassine,
Everyone calling this high-level content.... well that is clearly subjective, to me it just comes across as a well-spoken hit-piece, alot of subtle jabs were thrown when it is not necessary if you like the younger generation of hip hop then so be it, none of Jay-z's "cult" is in your way of listening to idk lil uzi vert or whatever you think is worthy of listening too. Downplaying an OG of the genre because they still have a strong fan base by calling them a cult.
I think Ye cult following stronget
