It's usually from the internals of the module being damaged misaligned. The best way to sort it is to replace the analogue modules. If its after the replacement then it's lime they have not been seated properly
Occasionally, the centre post of the analogue comes loose and spins in the module, meaning It won't unscrew. There are ways to get around this, but unless you have experience, I wouldn't recommend it as you can easily break either board beyond repair.
I tried this with the front and back plate off and struggled. I gripped it well in one hand fully supporting the board, and used the 6mm socket and socket wrench, and had zero problem. Trying to push the loose board onto the desk, struggled for 5 minutes. Hope this helps someone.
@@CCRepairsUK @CCRepairsUK well my controller works but i wanted to see if tightening them helped with the wobble. Or if there's something else you can do beneath it that you can do to reduce the wobble.
@@CCRepairsUK Yeah i've done it a few times and this is the first time it's happened to me. Must have been a lot of locktite! Luckily i have a replacement joystick, but i'm not the best at soldering and i'm even worse at de-soldering.
Badass vid bro I would’ve of never thought about doing this 👍💪🦅
Thanks 😊
Great idea!! Very nice thank you!!!
Just a happy accident to be honest glad I could help ☺️
bro this stoped me from repairing my own joy stick , finally going to end what i start 2 years ago
Keep me updated on how you get on 👍
Thank you❤❤❤❤❤
No problem 😊
Have you ever had any issues happen when the stick feels crunchy “when you push the stick around the full rotation and it catches to something”?

Thank u
More than welcome
The thing with mine is that every time i swrew it it wont come undone. It is moving and it is unswering but its not budging off

Broke mine
This method only works if the stem is good I've had a few break on me since doing this

Good method to use 👍 if I hadn't had my phone in hand it's usually how I hold the controller but a little difficult to film as well lol
Didnt work i just twist and twist and it dosnt come off please help
Sounds like the post has snapped in the modules it happens sometimes if you are uk i can help you fix this
@@CCRepairsUK mine also just spins. Brand new controller. Is it broken?
@@mev85 it cab be fixed but the analogue needs to be removed while the board is in the frame which is tricky to do without the proper equipment

youd need to replace the analogue to fix the issue@@mev85
When I twisted the cap it broke my reader inside instead of screwing off fml
Same happened to me, i even heated it up first. :(
Did it take the post off the analogue and leave it in the cap?
I think it depends who put the locktite on in the factory. I've had a few break too
