To follow up 96 with Meiyazhagan, masterpiece. Sivakartikeyan was super but Sai Pallavi didn't cry but made everyone cry in the last 10 minutes. DQ off beat scripts often do wonders. PS, all 3 movies deserve seperate videos

Meiyazhagan was the warm cozy hug that we all crave for. Karthi's monologue about the cycle was extremely emotional it showed how someone's trash can be someone's tressure.
So glad you were finally able to watch Meiyazhagan, Jammy!! ❤️ That movie ripped my heart into a million pieces and then so lovingly glued it back together. Masterpiece!
I was so moved by the several conversations Arvind was having before the film transitioned to Karthi's place. I would have loved more of those. Those Unresolved and uncomfortable moments were so powerful. A great film indeed
@TriedRefusedProductions Yes, agreed! Another thing I loved about the movie were all the scenes with the women in them. So well written and despite such short screen times all the women left a deep impression with the audience!
@@TriedRefusedProductions Pls watch lubber panthu.. A great sports drama taking place in rural area which most films don't capture... Great balance of commercial aspects too .
There is also an another tamil film called "Lubber Pandhu"- This film (based on circket and egos) made on a budget of 5 cr was a huge success, collecting more than 40 cr Also hats off to producer Kamal Hassan and sony productions for not comprimising the director's vision, if it was a another producer, Amaran wouldn't be the same.
It was also a massive comeback for Karthi, DQ and SK-their previous projects which were their most expensive were let downs, and they returned with bangers in three different genres.
@@amar.mohamed karthis filmography is quite unique. maybe he thought japan would end up being something on the lines of soodhu kavvum when he read the script, but didnt workout
Just bc of king of Kotha failure. He is one of the most successful rate star n still king of Kotha isn't a failure in money as they recovered its money budget.
Sai pallavi's accent was purposefully made to sound like that cause in the film she is a Malayali who came to Chennai for college so it made sense that her Tamil was broken you can watch interviews of the real Indu mams and see her Tamil is broken so Sai pallavi delivered what was given to her cause she definitely can speak good tamil but she didn't in this one cause it was purposeful and true to the nature of the real person she is acting about. So people who are complaining about that are probably trying to nitpick things to say negative about otherwise none of the people I knew who watched the film had any problem with her accent.
What doesn't work when it comes to Sai pallavi's character is that she wasn't convincing enough playing a mallu character, especially when the movie stuck to giving importance to malayalam dialogues.
i am so happy for Karthi and Arvind Swamy to have got the opportunity to portray these characters which are written so rarely and how moving they were. Prem Kumar take a bow.
Lucky Bhaskar was relatable especially growing up in 90’s when money lenders coming home was such a regular thing. Middle class struggles of running home with low income and to adjust based on situations was such a given. Really loved how middle class can spring surprises if they wanted to break the rules and show what they are capable off
Watching Meiyazhagan was like a sipping a hot tea in a cold breeze with your long forgotten friend, true therapy session, glad I watched that in theatres Lucky Bhaskar was a genuine surprise TBH, not a big fan of Venky Atluri previous works, but this movie is a huge break for him and leap to next level
As a DQ malayalee fan, Kurup was big hit in Kerala, King of Kotha was a failure even DQ admitted it as well! He has few malayalam movies lined up next year, the 1st one with Niyas who made RDX,the next one with Soubin who made Parava, the 3rd one with a debutant. These has to be exciting projects and DQ will comeback to mollywood with a bang!!❤
@@Niyatii_Dti_roblox depends honestly , if youre patient enough to sit through the slow pacing and pay attention to the movie then its good otherwise nope
Meiyazhagan is so well made that even though it wasn't relatable I still felt so related to the characters and I was automatically tearing up at several scenes. Truly beautiful
Both bhool bhoolaiya 3 and singham again raked in 100+ crores over 2-3 days. Why would makers learn anything? Nuance is never their strong suit anyway. Having so many resources at disposal and still coming up with sub par content is heartbreaking.
Meiyazhagan !!!! What a watch, truly melted my heart. This is called CINEMA, this was the reason y I had started watching movies which went missing… couldn’t hold my tears… still in the hangover…. Must watch ,EXPERIENCE THE HUMANITY❤
Tamil cinema did have good film(maharaja, kottukaali, lambr pandu, amaran, meiazhagan, vaazhai, garudan),It just that the commerical ones are kinda terrible 😔
I'm malayali and know tamil very well. I can say there was no issues with Sai palavi's dialogue delivery. And i believe no other actress could have done the role better. (May be my fav actress of all time urvashi, in her old days)
If it is about Amaran. Could you verify whether or not a handful of the dialogues were in Malayalam? Although I'm not familiar with the language but I recognize the intonation.
Lucky Bhaskar is one of the best films which came out in the second half of 2024. It is like Breaking bad meeting in Scam 1992(I know there is less similarity). It also pays ode to Chiranjeevi's Challenge(1984).I love how DQ expresses himself while screwing others😂😂.

Venky Atluri made very well balanced film with Lucky baskar, it doesn’t become too subject heavy and at the same time doesn’t go too mainstream. One of the best in this genre
I had the fortune of watching Amaran as soon as it released… mainly because I am a huge fan of Sai Pallavi… and my … the queen served… from innocent love and admiration to getting used to the pain of not having her husband with her…she never acts, she lives in that role… Siva Karthikeyan is equally brilliant with eyes that literally light with determination in some close up shots… the pre-interval sequence and the pre climax sequence are both bangers in my opinion… with edge of the seat, goosebump inducing action…. I came out of the theatre crying, and somehow happy that such love exists at least some people’s lives… though tragic this life is so much more meaningful
Dulquar Salman and Nani both the actor always try for new. Once you watch this then there will completely transformation from previous character. That makes them unique...❤❤
Watched Meiyazhagan on the first day & ohh Boy !! I was blown away by the cellular magic-Arvind Swamy as Arul or Karthi, i did not know who made me teary eyed ! Arvind swamy -his perfomance was so controlled and subtle,i wonder if only can an actor be so convincing, the visual Metaphors ! the Digressions into Tamil Culture, identity ... the silent ache of Arul, his feelings so inward & closed , i cant pharse it all !! to be very honest when i was driving back i even thought about your review and wished if you knew the language a bit more indepth !!!@tried&refused u did not disappoint !!
Can Bhaskar be my life coach??. Jokes aside, Lucky Bhaskar was such a good movie and I was bursting with excitement as the movie progressed. The last 10.min was me literally holding myself back from not jumping with joy. was waiting for Jammy's review.
I just realised that, the impact that stories like Meiyazhagan can have is insane. It left me in tears while I was watching the movie and now, as you were narrating your thoughts, it sent me chills and gave me goosebumps as I was recollecting the scenes in my mind that you were mentioning. This is probably what strong writing and characters with soul-stirring music can do! Hope Prem Kumar continues to explore these complex human relationships and delivers wonderful stories to us!
Lucky bhaskar was phenomenal. Telugu cinema really knows how to use dq and dq knows how to select good scripts in Telugu cinema. Venky atluri just killed it with dq and gv prakash music was phenomenal.
Meiyazhagan has its flaws.. many time you feel why are they prolonging the Truth.. where it seems there is something hidden in their sleeves which they reveal in the End not in a Grand Manner but in a subtle simple Heart Touching way making it a Beautiful Rendition of How to Live A Happy Life. The emotions of Arul (arvind swamy) are so relatable.. when you are meeting smone so distant know you so well that you yourself are Unaware of, is Tear-cracking feeling touched upon by this Movie! Karthy must have given a Soulful Life of an acting in this movie. True Masterpiece!
I believe you've been reading too much Reddit. While there was criticism about her Malayalam dialogue delivery online, in real life, most audiences are praising her performance, calling it incredibly natural.
The beauty of Meiyazhagan lies not in the story, but how the movie feels like a trip to our own hometowns for a family gathering where we meet someone as positive as Karthi. That someone can make a movie more about experiences rather than a long masala story in this era is quite unimaginable.
@ I didn’t feel any lag at all. There was this long conversation scene between karthi and arvind swamy where karthi feels and empathizes for other tamil people who lost their lives in srilanka civil war and sterlite issue which takes his character to a whole other level and i felt a lot more in the climax where arvind swamy says he is here and im here❤️.

Sivakarthikeyan had 2 talents that are important to become a lead actor: dancing and comedy. These 2 qualities made him an excellent entertainer. He got into films and has never looked back.
Talking about Meiyazhagan, I completely loved it when you described the way in which we want to prolong our interactions with our loved ones❤️ Moreover, in the film I loved the depiction of egos that are held in relationships and the uncomplicated and simple nature of Karthi which makes Arul question his own take on life in general, it is simply brilliant. Also the scene where the elephant passes behind Arul, that he was introduced to before leaving his place, I felt it so silent yet impactful. Meiyazhagan indeed is one of the most beautiful films I've watched this year✨
Watch Lubber Pandhu from Tamil, has been released in OTT and try to do a video about it too. That one also deals with the ego between to two male leads like we have seen in Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Driving License, Parking and all
I've watched Meiyazhagan and Amaran, Both on the big screen, I have just know these movies will be good, I have not watched a trailer before for both movies. Meiyazhagan, I've watched it twice, one on the big screen and in Netflix. I've watched the uncut version in the theater but i was not able to follow what he has saying (Note: I work night shift, and this was an afternoon show i have not slept all day), So specifically that part i dosed off, even though i saw bits and pieces, i regarded and when watching on Netflix that part was gone. I watched it again mainly to catchup on the part that i missed. so sad. But love the movie. that marriage food serving Scene was all, how a very normal wedding would look like. Of course i cried so much when Aravind Swamy was leaving. Amaran, I'm so proud of Siva Karthikeyan, I used to watch Vijay TV shows only if it was hosted by him and I loved when he started his career and I'm glad that this is where it's taking him now. My dad is a Army officer (who's no longer here, due to health issue). But watching it with my Mom was very emotional. I was thinking all through the movie how she's feeling. This is also true. When films like Gadar 2 or Kashmir files or stree 2 becomes a huge hit, it also questions the audience. In one way, Audience is also at fault in making bollywood crappy.
You also need to acknowledge that commerciality needs to meet creativity, the films you mentioned yesterday are very good but not engaging enough for the general audience who need a fun ride in the theatre . And most importantly who the fucks invests heavily on emotional human tales , even the movie satyam sundaram you are raving about collected just about 40 crs despite it being an excellent film . You have to understand the commercial. You can't fucking make a heartfelt human tales in the likes of maidaan on a budget of 200cr with zero marketing and then blame the audience. That is the harsh reality. Even stars like aamir wanted to make laal singh chadda on a budget of 300cr even though the movie had been good I don't think the budget is justified for genre. So yeah
Thank you Jammy for bringing especially 'Lucky Baskar' movie for review, it's amazing movie reminds me of our tough times which the movie depicts first part of it where the protagonist had to run to the office because the money lender snatches his bike. And it's a smart movie as well. We need more and more movies like it.
I went to the theater to see Amaran. I was upset to learn that my cousin had purchased a ticket for the Tamil version after I had initially advised her to get the Hindi dub version. I don't comprehend the language like she does. However, I have no regrets at all after watching the entire movie in Tamil. I completely grasped the feeling that the film was trying to portray. An extremely fulfilling experience. The combination of Tamil, Hindi, Kashmiri, and possibly Malayalam with English subtitles is perhaps the reason.
one problem to hope that Bollywood meets the south standards is that all those south movies.. have superb actors.. Aravind Swamy and Sai Pallavi are sublime artists, while In Karthi and Dulquer salman are your conventional heroes with serious acting chops. even with great scripts one need good directorial and acting skills to transform story to mesmerising screenplay
Sai Pallavi was fantastic in the movie with her dialogue delivery, her priceless expressions and her entire performance as an actor... Actually i must say that she did not act but appeared so real on screen... Sai Pallavi actually carries such good brilliance that she has acted in the malayalam film Premam(her debut film) as a college professor who is a tamilian and yet mesmerised the kerala audiences with her work...Fida, Kali, Sham Singha Roy and many more in all the south languages ...An actor with zero makeup but still manages to make us believe that she is an entirely different person in every character that she portrays... I am a malayalee born and brought up in Mumbai...a fan of beautiful cinema...used to enjoy Bollywood movies too... Sadly a masterpiece is a now a rare thing there...Sai Pallavi has a Hindi film releasing soon.. Ramayan... Fingers crossed and curious to see if that goes well or not... Meiazhalagan is another masterpiece that South India will be proud of... am glad the world is now acknowledging south indian film industries and realising that south indian cinema is not just about the few boring dubbed malayalam, tamil, telugu or kannada movies repeatedly aired on Set Max or Star Gold or similar such channels...
Amaran was simply amazing and I felt great about watching it on the big screen. I think director Rajkumar deserves most of the credit for weaving story with no unnecessary songs or scenes....the first half zipped past at such a speed and ended on a high...second half got little slower with all the army operations but was consistently well made and the climax was truly a tear jerker

Arvind Swamy & Karthi played polarised characters in Meiyazhagan, yet both did full justice to their roles - while the former internalized his emotions and gave a very nuanced performance with his eyes and facial expressions, the latter was like a phataka bursting in all its glory. Both complemented each other so beautifully & elevated C. Premkumar's writings. I see some criticism on Amaran that SivaKarthikeyrn spotted a beard in a few scenes, which was against the army conduct. But the fact is, Major Mukund himself maintained a beard during those times so as to mingle with the local people with ease and get to know the terrorist activities and movements. The director had done some serious research on him and had got the approval of army top brass before releasing the final cut. So, be rest assured, this movie was made as realistic as they could within the cinematic boundaries.

I absolutely loved AMARAN. Despite some familiar tropes in the action sequences that one has seen in films such as URI and SHERSHAAH, what really worked for me in AMARAN is the heart-felt relationship depicted between Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi. Both actors are in such fine form that you start rooting for them and Sai Pallavi totally knocks it outta the park in the final moments of the film. And to answer your question, I had absolutely no problem with her dialogue delivery and in fact loved that director Rajkumar Periasamy has kept it authentic making her character speak in Malayalam since she is from Kerala in the film and making SK speak in Tamil since he hails from Chennai in the film.

The way sai pallavi portayed a malayali speaking tamil is spot on. Being a mallu in tamil nadu, i can relate to tamil she is speaking. Since she is playing a mallu, speaking pure tamil will not make her relatable to the real indu. I dont know what the fuss is about her dialogue delivery.
I am so glad that Meiyazhagan caught your eye... the movie is something which will pull all our heart strings together who miss their extended family... A movie which made me wanting not to have an end...
Bollywood can never make a simple, sweet and beautiful films like Meiyazhagan. Such sweet characters and beautiful moments which directly touches your heart and soul. They are busy showing people in villages as monsters. The writers here are living in their own world and have lost touch to the core ground level. Reason why TVF is booming with their shows and writing.
@@PrayasRahangdale Adding to Jammy's comment - Piku and October too. I'm Tamizh by the way and Meiyazhagan is so close to my heart but I also have to defend some of these extremely well made Hindi movies!
Thanks for the Meiyazhagan movie review, jammy bro. I know you're gonna review Amaran & Lucky baskhar movies. But Meiyazhagan movie review is a sweet surprise, thanks for that.
I watched Meiyazhagan and was spellbound by the realistic performance of Arvind Swamy and Karthi. Human emotions run high throughout the movie😢😢 Amaran was the perfect Diwali movie, loved every bit of it❤
Lucky Bhaskar is the best story telling and screenplay on recent times of Tollywood I loved the movie and acting and dialogue teach the lessons of life and money in middle class man
Meiyazhagan is an amazing movie. It really took me by surprise as I had no expectations for it. I was weeping half the time and at other times, found myself wiping my tears to smile. I am glad that I watched it.❤
Meiazhagan is a universal emotion that lies deep within. I found myself spontaneously connecting with right from the first shot. A movie with no item songs, action sequences and no heroine that captivates through pure emotion. And yes lunchbox is the right comparison.
Where's the review for Bhageera? 🎬 Hombale Films delivered an unexpected superhero treat! Would love to hear your analysis of this understated yet powerful film!
Thank you for your always entertaining videos that continue to highlight good films from the South! It's endearing and encouraging to see. I definitely feel your genuineness as a true fan of Bollywood who wants them to do better. Loved Meiyazhagan and ur review of it was spot on. Yes, the little details were so beautiful - like that brush on the shoulder - and all the interactions were so natural. My only little personal complaint was that I wanted to see them both actually share a real warm hug instead of it abruptly ending before that. We saw it in the theatre and saw it again on Netflix. Hoping to watch Amaran this weekend. Shout out to the ones responsible for bringing these lovely tamil movies all the way to cinemas in New Zealand - we are grateful!

@TriedRefusedProductions Yes, agreed! Another thing I loved about the movie were all the scenes with the women in them. So well written and despite such short screen times all the women left a deep impression with the audience!

Amaran is a real story. It's actors job not writers. But lucky bhaskar has unique story and hardwork
Meiyazhagan is one of the most beautiful film ever made and definitely a contender of my top 10 films of the year list. 🍃
Satyam sundaram was definitely my fav movie of this year.... Heart touching
Bruh it's not broken Tamil that's the issue. It was the broken malayalam when she's supposed to be a native Malayalam speaker
@@vysakh7649She tries to mix Tamil and Malayalam. When that happens the language sounds broken
What doesn't work when it comes to Sai pallavi's character is that she wasn't convincing enough playing a mallu character, especially when the movie stuck to giving importance to malayalam dialogues.
She is not from Kerala nor malayali, she is from kotagiri near to Coimbatore.
i am so happy for Karthi and Arvind Swamy to have got the opportunity to portray these characters which are written so rarely and how moving they were.

Lucky Bhaskar was a genuine surprise TBH, not a big fan of Venky Atluri previous works, but this movie is a huge break for him and leap to next level

I faced the same once in real life! Forgetting my friend’s daughter’s name! 2 days I suffered but still I didn’t know her original name!
I believe you've been reading too much Reddit. While there was criticism about her Malayalam dialogue delivery online, in real life, most audiences are praising her performance, calling it incredibly natural.
Goofy dialogue delivery in Malayalam. But who cares it's made for Tamil people so it doesn't matter.
The beauty of Meiyazhagan lies not in the story, but how the movie feels like a trip to our own hometowns for a family gathering where we meet someone as positive as Karthi. That someone can make a movie more about experiences rather than a long masala story in this era is quite unimaginable.
I can say proudly I watched meiyazhagan uncut version in theatres
oh you are the chosen few! Was the 'lag' complaint even genuine?
@ I didn’t feel any lag at all. There was this long conversation scene between karthi and arvind swamy where karthi feels and empathizes for other tamil people who lost their lives in srilanka civil war and sterlite issue which takes his character to a whole other level and i felt a lot more in the climax where arvind swamy says he is here and im here❤️.

So true, you can't blame the industry. When the audience pay for crap, they get served crap.
Mu ki baat chin li 😂 same case for 12 th fail , lapata ladies etc.
So, true. I watched Chandu champion in theater. It was half empty. But movies like Singham are going houseful.
So yeah

The broken language of saipallavi actually helped because in Chennai the Kerala people who come to study talk like that only so it suited perfectly..

one problem to hope that Bollywood meets the south standards is that all those south movies.. have superb actors..

@lethavadlasivakumar then go watch social message movies..why comment here boy
Arvind Swamy & Karthi played polarised characters in Meiyazhagan, yet both did full justice to their roles - while the former internalized his emotions and gave a very nuanced performance with his eyes and facial expressions, the latter was like a phataka bursting in all its glory. Both complemented each other so beautifully & elevated C. Premkumar's writings.
Each & evey character in the movie, very well - written and well - performed is memorable regardless of the length of the role - the flower seller character at the end of the film is so genuine & powerful.
So happy that you are learning thamizh pronunciations!! 💛... You are not a noob brother, you are putting efforts that most wouldn't do
I appreciate you giving importance to all languages, love for that 💛 🇮🇳
I watched Meiyazhagan & Amaran & planning to watch Lucky Baskhar when it comes in Hindi...Meiyazhagan was so sweet & emotionally connecting story that everyone will feel good after watching the movie...Amaran is a slendid one, Sai Pallavi looks exceptionally beautiful & has acted gracefully in this one. Sivakarthikeyan has lived the character, inch perfect portrayal of the hero Major Mukund Varadarajan. Both movies are highly recommended.
@@tanvirahadjoy977 poor audience you people are just blind praising the amaran film for no reason 😂you people can't even able to say any valid point about the film other than acting because movie is soo bad in every aspect except actors performance movie is absolute garbage it's a total mess interms of emotions or direction aspects movie deosnt have even a proper story it is one of the worst movies of 2024
I see some criticism on Amaran that SivaKarthikeyrn spotted a beard in a few scenes, which was against the army conduct. But the fact is, Major Mukund himself maintained a beard during those times so as to mingle with the local people with ease and get to know the terrorist activities and movements. The director had done some serious research on him and had got the approval of army top brass before releasing the final cut. So, be rest assured, this movie was made as realistic as they could within the cinematic boundaries.
there is a dialogue in the movie explaining this, those who are criticising it actually didnt watch the movie
Malayalam spoken by sai pallavi in amaran is much much better than how horrible it’s portrayed usually in movies outside mollywood. And i dont think anyone could have replaced the acting capabilities required for the role other than her.
Agree, but the problem here is , it' s a biography.
@ so?
That's why she's the best choice to be Sita
I watched both the versions. I liked the uncut one better.
I would also propose you to watch 2 terrific movies, lubber pandhu and vaazhai. And give your take on them
Meiyazaghan is a masterclass in how to do a Hrishikesh Mukherjee style, "slice of life movie" right. It is a pure, warm, 3-hankie weepie with a superlative performance by EVERYONE!! Aravind Swami and Karthi just opened a smorgasbord of beautiful moments to pick from. My favourite was the scene on the dias with the sister. Does it get any better than this ?WOW!! Now that you have mentioned that 20 to 30 minutes of this gem were cut down for appeasing, oh, I don't know " the intellectually stunted, so sayeth " we call ADHD speed"" category of our audience, Jammy, I am going to request Netflix to get the full version out!
Tollywood we have - KA, lucky baskhar 🗿
Kollywood we have - Meiyazhagan ( not a diwali release) , Amaran 🗿
Sandalwood we have - Bhageera ( decent one) 🗿
Mollywood we have - kishkindha kandam ( released in ott) 🗿
Bollywood we have - Singham again 🤡, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 🤡
All thanks to the hindi audience 🥲
It is a harsh reality of the Hindi audience Cash Grab Blew Average movies like BB3 and SA3 are becoming super-duper hits and when the same actors does great films like Maidan and Chandu Champion are flops.🥲
Where has kishkindha kaandam released in ott?
Kishkindha kaandam released in ott ? When ?

Tamil cinema lately:
Maharaja
Lubber pandhu
Vaazhai
Amaran
Meiyazhagan
Vaazhai is Malayalam

Kottukaali as well

I would suggest you to watch 'Vaazhai' directed by Mari Selvaraj and 'Kottukali' directed by Vinoth raj (Director of the movie 'Pebbles' - India's Official Entry to the Oscars). I consider them to be one of the finest tamil movies in 2024. Please do a video on these 2 movies.
@@shrisowmyaa2067 it’s a shame they are not streaming Kottukaali on US Amazon prime anymore because that’s been on my list. Vaazhai left me in a puddle of tears. Visually stunning, haunting and moving. The child actors did a magnificent job too. Also the music/bgm.
meiyazhagan: this film released big in our theaters all were very much in the hype of devara and forget to even consider going next doors for this, when this film released on netflix i showed my parents this film and as the film progressed i gave a look at them and they were sitting right there with tears in their eyes, after the film completed there were many things in me but the thing which i regretted the most was why didnt i watch this film in the theaters, as a fan of 96 prem kumar yet delivers a blockbuster for me.
lucky bhaskar: again being this telugu speaking guy this is one of the big releases here for the festival ofc the first film i was going to watch in the theaters before any film, one of the main reasons for this is the promotions they did for this film, the producer naga vamsi went all out on this film like every other film of his, and all i was expecting was a good engaging film which shoudnt let me be bored and just keep the film flowing and it delivers exactly that, being the fan of the show scam 1992 the references of harshad mehta as harsha mehra was a good desisions indeed. I think what this film does good is to give what i asked for, reaching my expectations
i also watched another telugu film called ka its a fantastic watch too.
I got goosebumps sering Sai Pallavi s acting in the last 10-15 minutes of Amaran. It did not feel like acting

@@lethavadlasivakumar so youre saying major mukund's life is boring? and leave that aside, the cinematography was top notch, the music was great, not like that shit song placement in GOAT with useless dancing, the stunts were realistic, and again not like riding bike on stadium, a great movie was made out of a military man's life in terms of narration, where the story was told from the wife's POV, which was good, and no one here is blindly praising, are people stupid to praise something they dont like, maybe some might do it, how is it widely recognised and appreciated?

malayali who's fluent in both malayalam and tamil here 🙋🏽♀️
sai pallavi undeniably did a phenomenal job as indu and whoever saying she's a micast cannot be serious lol. with that being said, her Malayalam dialogue delivery wasn't perfect because its nearly impossible for a non-native speaker to fluently speak malayalam and sound like a native speaker. but it wasn't unbearable like some people make it out to be. she was okay and didn't butcher the language at all. and personally i felt like it was not that of a big deal and its forgettable considering how good the movie as a whole was! and i think everyone should forgive saipallavi’s non-fluent malayalam because my girl carried that movie on her back for real😭
Not really the dialogue delivery that went wrong.. I would say it's the dialogue that did a not good job.. It's like they had a meter of x malayalam words per y Tamil words in a dialogue
Lucky baskar is so refreshing in mainstream space. Jammy it wuld be interesting to see ur take on Telugu biopic Major (2022) & Amaran, both are backed by Sony & are biopics. Btw there are 2 other films u can check out, SWAG & KA. SWAG is on Prime, KA is in theatres. DQ next Telugu film is by Vyjayanthi movies again called "Akasamlo Oka Tara".
Remember Bagheera Movie from the Kannada Industry too!!
Amaran is a well made film there’s nothing to complain about..all the actors lived in tat character…throughout the film I had tears of joy watching the relationship between the army man and his wife..the Malayalam portion is easy to understand nothing to complain about I loved that Sai Pallavi pulled it out very well..I loved her so much I this film..I can see myself in many scenes as a emotionally bound person to her husband
Recently watched Meiyazagan and its one of the movies that is capable to give you an existential crisis
haha same boat indeed. I funnily did the dramatic, 'what am I doing with my life'
It definitely has that impact!
Meiyazhagan is a masterpiece. It's a movie about human emotions. It didn't feel like I was watching a movie. It felt like a story from my household. Highlight for me is the interaction between Karthi and Aravind Saami its sooooo relatable and subtle. Dialogues are well written and delivered by the cast. This is how we interact, this is how visiting our hometown for a family function felt like, this is how we feel interacting with relatives. It's a pure nostalgia evoking art.
Not a great fan of Sivakarthikeyan but maybe from now on.Amaran really stood out And Sai Pallavi as usual brilliant but still a stellar performance in Amaran😊

Meiyazhagan emotionally cleanses you and in the end you really feel like no matter what people say there is still humanity left in this world and the scene where Arvind Swami sits down on the ground and carefully ties the jewellery one by one just makes you weep like a child , I have a sister and I was guilty of not standing beside her at a crucial time in her life and I just saw myself in Arvind Swami in that scene , Thank you Prem Kumar🙏🏻
Meiyazhagan - My man said it 2:26 🥳🫡🥹
Watch 'ka' from Telugu which is paralelly released with lucky Bhaskar and amaran. Ka movie was a brilliance of story writing.
Lunchbox and Karwaan say Hi!
@@PrayasRahangdale Adding to Jammy's comment - Piku and October too. I'm Tamizh by the way and Meiyazhagan is so close to my heart but I also have to defend some of these extremely well made Hindi movies!
Sir, did you not watch laapataa ladies this year?
@SchoolOfUnlearning3 I've watched. Good film overall, sweet climax.
Thanks for the Meiyazhagan movie review, jammy bro. I know you're gonna review Amaran & Lucky baskhar movies. But Meiyazhagan movie review is a sweet surprise, thanks for that.
Sai Pallavi to me pulled a masterclass in her role as Indhi Rebecca Varghese in Amaran. Is there anyone who didn't tear up a bit after the movie
I watched Meiyazhagan and was spellbound by the realistic performance of Arvind Swamy and Karthi. Human emotions run high throughout the movie😢😢 Amaran was the perfect Diwali movie, loved every bit of it❤
Dulkhar first movie in Telugu is mahanati ,3 movies hit
Lucky Bhaskar is the best story telling and screenplay on recent times of Tollywood I loved the movie and acting and dialogue teach the lessons of life and money in middle class man
Sir finally thanks for reviewing meiyazhagan
Meiyazhagan is absolute beauty. 🍃❤️
Meiyazhagan is an amazing movie. It really took me by surprise as I had no expectations for it. I was weeping half the time and at other times, found myself wiping my tears to smile. I am glad that I watched it.❤
Please watch "KA" movie in Telugu, thoroughly engaging and not the routine types, climax will blow your mind.
Good to see you back in a jolly mood brother❤
