Can a hands-on experience with the Fuji X-S10 change my mind? Is it a good camera for RUclips, content creators, and photographers? Let me know your opinion by leaving a comment. If you like this video, please like it and leave a comment. And, be sure to subscribe: bit.ly/subtoweskrieselphoto.
Personally, I'd go for the X-S10. That said, I've never used the X-T2. I think you'd find the newer camera would include better specs and performance since it's been put out from Fuji more recently. That's my two cents. Let me know what you decide!
I just ordered this camera for video use because of IBIS, to go with my XT3. I am not expecting miracles, but hopefully it will do the job, and I already have lenses. The film simulation dial is a bit silly for Fujifilm users. I will immediately assign that dial to something more appropriate like iso. In general, I appreciated your comments a lot, so thank you for making this video.
it depends on what country the camera was made from. here in the philippines formerly working at Fujifilm. I can say the quality is better. the x-s10 here has no problem with autofocus according to those who bought it that I read on the fb page ..
@@granit1449 one more clarification that I found - bulb mode is only available when using mechanical shutter. If you have electronic shutter on, you can't find bulb mode using the rear dial.
What about weather resistance....how to solve this when we use in rain or cool weather...will it survive..dust ..In India we have hot weather will it survive....mostly ishoot outside..
Good run through. Most of the buttons and dials are customizable, right? So the upper left dial can be set to, say, ISO or other things you prefer over the default film sim selection. Cheers
You are probably right! That's a savvy suggestion! Unfortunately, I had the camera for a limited time so I didn't discover that. Thank you for watching and for leaving a comment!
İ know it is going to sound stupid but I couldn't decided between x-s10/zv-e10/eos Rp . These 3 camera are almost same priced in my country. What do you suggest for mostly for RUclips indoor videos and sometimes photo ? Thanks.
I would only choose the Fuji for RUclips videos if you make sure to pick up the 18-55mm lens. It's the best lens for eye AF and it's pretty flawless for my RUclips videos (as good as the Canon EOS R and R5 for AF!). I don't like the Sony menu system, but I really liked using the Sony ZV1 when I had it for a few days. Between the ZV1 and the ZVE10, I would choose the bigger sensor and interchangeable lenses of the ZVE10. The RP is a good option, but one thing to consider is cost of lenses. The X-mount lenses are more affordable than RF lenses. What camera do you use right now? Do you already have some lenses you've invested in?
@@WesKriesel i don't have any camera or lens. I use an iPhone 11 . It will be my first camera😇that's why ease of use, reliable AF and upgradeablety is important to me.
That makes sense. I feel more comfortable with Fuji than Sony, but that's personal preference. Both of these are good options! I'd say choose between the Fuji X-S10 and the Sony ZV-E10.
Number 3 is not told on any video describing the camera (except this one), but it's important and it happened to me quite a few times with the XS10. The audio plug is a bit special and you can easily put the jack in and it clicks... But no, you have to be careful, put all the way in and click it a second time to get the mike working. Excuse my english, the erros and the akward way to describe it, am not a native speaker.
You know I recently got the X-S10 as my first camera and after watching your previous video, I thought I had made a mistake and should have spent the extra $700 to get the X-T4. However, after hearing you actually trying the camera out and actually enjoy using it a bit made me have a sigh of relief lolz. Content and delivery was well done 👏🏾
Can you say why you had doubts about this camera, because recently i had some doubts too! I thing X-T4 has better build quality, because my X-S10 has some clicky noise on the "rec" button, beside that i am very satisfied with tthis camera. What are your thoughts about build quality? Do you had some issues?
@@volodyakoval3397 Hey sorry about the delay. I had issues RE: battery life, auto focus and ergonomics of the grip (huge hands) with the xs10. The clicky buttons I can get over, however the battery life usually killed me and the AF not focusing on me (due to glasses) was harsh. Still, this camera is still a beast and I enjoy pulling it out when I'm in a confined space with the 18mm 1.4 or 33mm 1.4

On the used market, mainly for photography, this or X-T2?

@@WesKriesel then better to wait a few months for v5 sensor? Not sure i want the added wait of ibis for pictures.

Hi All. Does someone know how to set Bulb mode on this camera? Manual says that it can be done by using rear dial but it doesn't work.
I just picked up another X-S10 so I will test this out and get back to you.
@@WesKriesel I found this mode by using rear dial after restart the camera. Anyway many thanks for your quick reply.
