A guitar lesson by the man behind of the song LITERALLY. This is really satisfying
Robby est derrière beaucoup de chansons (paroles & musiques) !! J'adore le son qu'il produit ... il a 1 style particulier , unique ... il se différencie des autres guitaristes !! 👌
Robby , Légende vivante des Doors (+ John) !! 👏
Literally standing behind the song ?? Lol.
Cangreburguito Absolutely!
This is so cool and helpful.
You meant he played it with the doors
I would've never thought as a young teenager in the late '70s when I was starting to appreciate The Doors that I'd be able to pick up a guitar lesson online from Robbie Krieger himself. This is awesome.
me neither....technology eh :)
There was a lot less available online in those days.
@@TheBobbymcd it's good of robbie to take the time to do it as well !
This shit is wild fr😂
This genius wrote more than lyrics than people realize. There is no Doors without Robby.
he wrote 3 songs love her badly, light my fire and i dont remember the other one! he s the most mystic guitar player
@@user-bt3tj6we7b wrote more than 3 songs. love me two times, love her madly, touch me, tell all the people, runnin' blue, spanish caravan, wintertime love, wishful sinful, yes the river knows, you're lost little girl. heaps.
@@softlove6286 didnt know that !!!!
@@user-bt3tj6we7b crazy right? great songwriter, made some of the catchiest Doors tunes for sure
@@user-bt3tj6we7b Badly? Maybe you towards your wife.😊
Possibly the most underrated guitarist in rock. Appreciated, but his phrasing was like no other. Thanks Robbie, it is a pleasure to get this from you.
Man it’s a blessing from Jesus and the universe to get these lessons from one of the greatest guitarists in the world and history of Rock and Roll!!!!!❤️🤍💙🤘🏿
Truth
He was considered one of the worst.
@@Harp291074 By who? You? Tell that to his fame, bank account and fans, not to mention his talent.
@Marshal Rooster J yessir
@@Harp291074 Your sin isn't in being ignorant, it's advertising it.
Today my guitar teacher is Robby Krieger!!! How cool is that ? :)
Robby Krieger looks like an angel teaching guitar, the star is still shining
yeha!!!
I dont know if its the lighting his hair or both but he shines like one too lmao
This is probably the only time I ever got goosebumps from watching a training video.
I remember my brother listening to the doors in the 60s, if you told me the man behind the song would be teaching it to me on my phone I would have said you were crazy.
No shit huh? What a trip
Isn't it just unreal
Real life Sci-fi even too a 90s kid like me
Life is strange
So true!
A legend giving free lessons of music talks too much about him! An excellent person and a epic musician!!!
Hello Robby and all Doors fans/ Guitarists!
Surreal to have you teaching us Robby… have always loved your Music since I was a kid in the 60’s… thanks for all the Music and lessons!
I've played this song live probably a thousand times, and never even knew there was a lizard on the A chord too.
dude you were playing it all wrong!!
Same!!!
🤣
I Thought it was more of a slide on the record. That’s how I play it. A7 I’ll try it this way but I play & sing this at the same time so I might stick with what I know over exactly how he plays it. I almost never play anything note for note. How boring is that!!!
Greetings from Russia. "The Doors" is my favourite band even though I'm only sixteen. My dad, my uncle and my grandpa are big fans of your crew too. I'm so grateful to you Mr.Krieger, and also to John Densmore, to Jim Morrison and Ray Manzerek for such wonderful music which became a part of my heart.
Welcome to the party! I first discovered the Doors when I was 16 as well (... that was a few decades ago though). Have a top week, mate!
That's great. It sucks all this nonsense in the world about Russia and USA and it's cool people like you will be in the future. Peace from Australia.
"The Doors is my favorite band"
"I'm 16"
Yep, sounds about right. Pink Floyd phase soon to follow.
I'm 27 and I love The Doors too. They're just different, in their own genre.
A guitar lesson from Robby Krieger! His playing always goes straight for the jugular, never anything extraneous, not one wasted note, never showy, always the Music comes first.
Robbie, thank you for a lifetime of music. I love the Doors. It’s simple, it’s complex, it’s deep, it’s fun, it’s rock, it’s jazz, it’s classical, it’s loving, it’s righteous, it’s full spectrum humanity.
I met you at one of your jazz gigs at the Iridium in NYC and you could not have been nicer. It meant so much!
So simple, so powerful, so memorable from the legend himself. Thank you.
I love you Robby. It's hard not to think of Morrison during times like these.
The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
@@michaeldoty1770 hell yeah brother
@@derekmudd9331 And when I say the end is near, I hope the end of COVID is near.

@Dougger Richardson masks don't do anything. there is no virus
Much obliged, Mr. KRIEGER
to learn this from Robby, to see him play it and sing it as well, this is a true gift.
what a legend of a man. Way too underrated. This man influenced generations a guitar players .
Robby I feel like I’m getting Top Secret Formulas out of the Doors vault ...thank you !!!🙂👍🏻
How crazy is it that the man himself is giving us lessons on RUclips? Don’t see this too often and The Doors is one of my favorite bands
Mr. Krieger,...............WOW you have stood the test of time...gloriously. ............. the heart of the DOORS Robby Krieger
Robby love your style of playing. Thanks for showing us your licks of our favorite music. Fantastic band the Doors. For ever missing Jim.
Thank you for taking your time to this!!
More artists should teach their music. This is truly one of the coolest things I've seen. Love you Robbie!! Thank you for not only inspiring guitarists but teaching them!
Thank you Robby you are a true Legend.
🚪. Love me Two times has always been one of my favorite Doors songs!
Great lesson video, thanks for posting this video!
Those chords are so well utilized. You're like a god to me. Something vampiric, magical for the ages.
One of my most favourite guitarists ever. Bought a Doors Guitar tab way back in the day and it gave me such an extra appreciation of his talents. Love, love, love his playing.
At 64,it pleases me to no end to see the inner workings of the greatest American band of my youth dissected by a living member. The Doors were a machine consisting of intricate parts and you, sir, are an essential cog in that wheel.
It’s a beautiful day when you find Robbie giving lessons in the Summer of Gloves.
I love this alien ...no care of age , He's just enjoying and sharing , that's all bliss ...!!!
Love Robbie’s “Lizard” impression too🦎🦎🦎..living legend right here kids...✊🏻🏴
I absolutely love The Doors. I am 36 years old and never thought I would learn one of of my many favorite Doors songs from Robby! This is absolutely fantastic! Funny thing is, my parents and nobody else in my family listens to The Doors. I stumbled across them as a younger man and fell in love! Their music is 100% amazing as all hell! ❤ Thank you for this lesson Robby.
The FIRST Doors song I ever heard. Thanks Robby for doing these instructional videos. You ROCK!
Thanks for these Mr. Krieger!
incredible that a man as you, lives for teach a lesson of your composition on guitar... you are great robby krieger. you are a legend, in my opinion, the doors are better than beatles, rolling and others, making magic only with 3 instruments and 1 voice . this music to be history for generations, to talk of yours at my sons .
How lucky we are, to be able to watch a video of this legend. Cheers!
All right, thank you so much Mr.Krieger.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Amazing how the timing is exact to the original recording. Awesome guitarist.

I love Robbie Krieger. The guy came up with some of the tastiest licks of the sixties.
This guitar lesson from the Man itself made my day! The "lizard trill" is the best!!!

Thank you Robby, brings back so many memories, loved this song and still do to this day.
What a sweet guitar, legendary rockstar . Had the pleasure of seeing him in 2000.
I grew up listening to this music thanks to my dad greets from Mexico🇲🇽
Quién iba a pensar que el maestro Krieger nos daría lecciones de guitarra...Realmente increible...Gracias, ¡totales!
If there's one cool thing to come from this awful pandemic it's the unique things musicians are providing to us. I've seen a few now offering lessons on their most famous songs. So freaking cool. Thanks for your time Robby.
Grew up as a kid listening to your magic. Love your talent.
Yes, saw the Doors in Santa Barbara CA opening for the Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead..,in support of their first album "The Doors" 1967...,the music was so remarkably different than the San Francisco sound - I think everybody there was just blown away by the energy and the "tightness" of their sound. With just two players, Ray and Robby doing all the harmony and lead work it was like a rocket launch in the Santa Susanna hills...,you could hear every detail...,there wasn't any place to hide..,it all had to be detailed and perfect - and loud. It was. Thanks, Robby.....,
GREAT ROBBY, fantastic to see you man. Living legend, thank you , for memorable soils, thank you for Light my Fire.
Silty Loam!
Can you do “Blue Sunday” guitar lesson?
The guitar solo in that song is one of the beautiful every written in the history of music.

Saludos de Ecuador ✌️amo a los Doors
Thanks, Robbie. The Doors was the first tape I got for my 4-track in my '62 Chevy in high school (1967/68). I already had the LP. My friend and I learned to play all of the songs on that album. I learned the the guitar parts by ear and he liked the way it sounded. He could read music so he bought The Doors album music book which had very little guitar music except for chords and sometimes the beginning of the songs but it had the whole organ part for Light My Fire. I played the guitar part on my Silvertone electric and he played the organ part on his guitar. We thought we were great. Thank you for showing us the right way and still being around..
And i say it again... pardon me Mr. Krieger but instead of you saying "thanks for watch", ALL WE have to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for your efforts and time on doing this lessons and share it for us free... please take care of yourself and your loved ones through this times... peace and kudos to you out in cyberspace from Guadalajara, México, 13-agosto-2020 ✌🏻😎
Of the best songs of the Doors greetings

Lol what is this formatting? Most unique guitarist ever with most unique youtube video I ever seen! Love you Robby keep it up!!
Ikr I've always thought he's the hardest guitarist to imitate, he plays so many weird chords, Flamenco and Blues with a hint of jazz sometimes, just an amazing guitarist! My 2nd favorite guitarist!
@@sotis1756 Absolutely agree with you! Who is your 1st favorite player btw?
Андрей Tony iommi, he was the one who inspired me to play the guitar, i was always amazed by his live performances since i feel he’s better live than in the studio, and i just love his heavy Blues playing and eerie riffs and Fingerpicking licks :D how about you? Андрей
Muito bom!!! O timbre dessa guitarra é demais!
Essa música é uma das melhores!
Grande abraço Sr. Krieger.
Obrigado!
A great guitarist, a great teacher and a great man. Thank you, Robby!
Another great lesson from the great Robby Krieger, love this song. Thanks again, Mr. Krieger.
Fascinante a humildade deste artista!
If I had to pick just one band as my all time biggest musical influence, it would be The Doors.
I think a lot of bands think that but few say it.
The only Band that is providing lessons for their songs. Much love The Doors!
You are the Best master Robby, thanks for your legacy 🙏🙏
