Tecnam P2012 Traveller 2019

In 2009, Cape Air, a commuter airline based in Massachusetts, asked us for a new aircraft meeting their needs. On 21 July 2016, the first prototype performed its maiden flight. In October 2018, testing had been completed, and type certification from European Aviation Safety Agency was received during December 2018. The first customer delivery occurred during March 2019 and Cape Air received its first two Tecnam P2012 in October 2019.
P2012 is our first commercial aircraft and after its introduction as a commuter airliner, it could be used for VIP, cargo, parachuting and medevac.

Bellissimo aereo e gli auguro un gran successo. Ho un PPL e sono quasi dieci anni che lavoro come agente di rampa ed ho visto sia aeromobili facili che difficili da seguire sia come volato per se, sia come facilità di turnaround, un paio di domande che mi sorgono sono: Ha anche capacità di rifornimento a pressione o solo a pistola? Visto che carrelli 'spogli' possono incrementare rumore e vibrazioni è prevista la possibilità di coprirli con delle carene, che tra l'altro dovrebbero anche incrementare velocità e diminuire consumi?
Grazie per l'attenzione e sappiate che sono fortemente tentato di spedirvi il mio CV :)

To qualify as a commercial plane, it has to be able to fly under control on one engine. FAA mandate.

@@jefflatten9321 I maintained a fleet of Piper Navajo's in Alaska for 13 years, which uses the same Lycoming TIO 540 engine, you can tell me that aircraft with fly loaded on one engine.

Yes. Fixed landing gear. This model is designed to offer low maintenance costs for small, medium, regional airlines operating 30 to 90 minutes legs.
A fixed landing gear means less inspection time, more safety, and in this range of operations no slower flight time.
