I'd be interested in your thoughts as you do some research on energy density of fossil vs battery. Weight in cars is a lot less important than airplanes.
The Piper Navajo chieftain also uses the turbocharged Lycoming 540 engines, and it's a smaller more streamlined 9 passenger aircraft. The first time that aircraft looses an engine with nine passengers, it's gonna be a smoking hole in the ground.
The piper Navajo uses obsolete engines unless you re-engine it, and has been out of production for decades. The navajo does have retractable gear, but the rest of the Navajo is sadly obsolete. Both a Navajo and this plane can fly with only one engine.
@@aitorbleda8267 The Lycoming engine's on a piper Chieftain are 350 horsepower apiece on takeoff, the engine's on this aircraft are no more and yes a lightly loaded Navajo can make it on one engine, the rest of your comment is irrelevant to my point
