Been flying Cape Air for years and was excited to ride one of their new Travelers this year. Great plane. A little sad to see them retiring their Cessna 402s…but it also looks like they are talking about bringing the Eviation Alice (EV plane on soon!). Great airline. Great people. Awesome surprise to see them on the channel!
Yes! I've been waiting for this one for some time. Cape Air is one of the airlines I'm looking at for possible employment soon, and the region is a favorite since I fly often to Martha's Vineyard from Maryland. I also practice in Microsoft with the P2012 as one of many aircraft, and not only is that model high fidelity, the sound pack definitely matches the real airplane, as witnessed here. That's what I love about simming in today's world, and that includes the supreme detail of Boston Logan from 'Fly Tampa.'
This is so cool!! I went to Boston last year and saw the Cape Air planes sitting on the ramp, never even dreamed JP would be over here to follow along on a flight, but here we are!
Awesome video. The PVC portion was neat. I remember as a kid going to the airport and standing at the fence watching PBA DC-3’s coming and going…great memories. Glad to see Cape Air still moving peeps all along the Cape & P-Town. Thnx for sharing.
If I have to start with a fleet for air travel regional/cargo business, I’ll definitely go with this planes..thanks for the video, gives me another reason to work hard, save up and keep the dream alive :)
Nice. I watch a lot of these types of videos and there are usually two pilots. So, when I did not hear "Rotate" at take-off it sounded like something was missing - which it was.
Excellent vid. Really enjoyed that. I'm surprised that there aren't two pilots on all these flights. Seems like a lot of work for one person, IMO. I'm curious if there were any passengers on any of these flights.
Cool video and a cool new airplane. Curious, how do you Cape pilots rate the performance of the P212 compared to the 402? The 402 seems like it would be a faster airplane since it has folding gear but they must be a lot more cozy for both pilot and passenger. I think the 402 has served well for many many years but time for the new. Cool airplane!

Great video with good explanations. The P20912 Traveller is taking over everywhere. Excellent single pilot cockpit.
Wow that’s a beautiful aircraft! My first solo was (24y ago) in a Tecnam P92. They have come a long way since!!
So glad to see my home airport on JP...Thanks for putting this out and shout out to TIM @ KMVY
Great pilot, and airplane! I loved the sound of those engines on the static takeoff!😊
Great to see you teaming up with a local airline. Heard great things about the Tecnam.
Very cool pilot, wish him nothing but success in his career. 😊
Super footage as usual ! Thanks a lot 🙏
Shoutout to all single pilot ifr 🎉🎉🎉 that must be something. And this guy looks so happy !! Best workplace in the world.
Happy Birthday! 🙂
Hey, nice inspiring videos. Thank you, Captain.
Scenic views beautiful
Good flying. Such a beautiful area, very lucky to be able to fly here. Watching this 8-14-24 so happy early birthday!
Good job on all the landings and great skill in all the weather.
As a retired airline check airman, he did a great job. I wish all the F/O's I worked with did half as good.
Thanks for introducing me to the P2012. Great plane, great pilot.
Amazing flights ❤❤❤❤
Let’s fly people let’s fly away!✈️
Great video! I used to fly into those airports in our Dakota. Thanks for the memories.

I could never fly as a passenger with only one pilot. You never know...
I was flying Cape Air in 2019 Chicago - Saint Louis - Chicago, it was two pilots :)
I was expecting to see it landing in New Bedford. I fly CA from VQS to SJU
very original plane ! nice !

happy birthday next thursday!
Great job Capt.....Why was he flying around empty all day?
Photograph the passengers and you need to get a signed release from each one.
🤩🤩🤩🤩
I used to live in Hyannis.
MaNtap Okee Broo...🇮🇩
Curious why he's using the tail number instead of CAIR callsign. He started to explain but got cutoff.
my guess is these arent commercial flights.
What Engines do you have on Tecnam P2012
Lycoming teo540s
Nice to see the Traveler earning its keep. Do pilots get the opportunity to change bases?
I got a question, does this airline travels from IAD to SJU?
No, their planes aren't capable of flying that distance.
@@jq2147 Oh ok!
No but you can go from SJU to STT , EIS
What lighthouse is at 21:50?
it’s a water tower on Long Island in Boston Harbor.
imagine a health problem in the air without a second pilot how it´s gonna be?
Too many problems with the stock engines. They are going to be retrofitting new engines in all of them.
No more C 402.
😢
You can fly in them in the Caribbean
We still have 63 in service. It'll take another 8 years before they phase out.
