I just watched a 2002 video of Terry Bozzio playing the Black Page. And then I watched Gergo. OMG! I'm surprised my computer screen didn't ignite with this version playing on it. Sorry Terry but I have to give the nod to Gergo.
Gergo's chops are mind blowing!!! Frank is definitely smiling!! The only other drummer I have seen do this piece is Terry Bozzio (there is an elite few that could pull it off - Vinnie Colaiuta and Chad Wackerman come to mind). Damn you, Gergo - that was absolutely stellar!!!!
