This is honestly the best drumming I've ever seen. And yes, that includes from Vinnie, Lang, Minneman, Virgil, Coleman, Palmer, etc. This is truly unbelievable. I was watching with my jaw on the floor, holding my breath.
His timing was priceless i nearly dropped of my seat.

Not the best. Just different. All those drummers are great, and bring something else to the table as far as talent and technique.
@Darrin Thorpe Thanks Darrin, but my comment was a subjective take on the drumming that I've personally seen. All the others I mentioned are certainly top tier drummers the world has ever seen.

The whole band was awesome. Of course, I was here for Gergő, but the whole band and the vibe was stellar. And props to Nicholas Viccaro for the awesome mixing. This sent me to a new dimension and my day will be just perfect from now on 🙂
Youknow, you know. I met Gergo flyin to Switzerland some years ago. A true gentle giant. reaaaaaaaaally gifted /hardworking musician.
Really fun to watch, because he constantly pulls new tricks out of his sleeve in a highly musical way. Great dynamics and technique. Very inventive playing.

Hello Gergo... I've been a fusion drummer since the 80s and was a disciple of the great Dave Weckl after the first Electrik Band LP emerged, I would say you're incredible talent ad creativity on the kit has me excited again. The Stepanov stuff you played on is just next level.. Thank you for that.

J'étais déjà admiratif de ce batteur en regardant ses premières vidéos pour Meinl il y a 12 ans. Il est époustouflant!!! Touché, nuances, musicalité, son, technique monstrueuse... prodigieux! Le groupe est de haut vol et Mbappe est le digne héritier de son père! Et un grand merci à la bag de diffuser ces images! (de la part d'un provincial qui n'avait pas les moyens de venir au show)
et en plus le mec est adorable, dédicace ce jour là au Trianon: simple, accessible, le top!
Quelle frappe de Mr Borlaī 👏👏👏. Et tout ça sur une sorte de 24/8 !! Chapeau messieurs.

This guy (and a few others like Virgil) have something in common: regardless of where they are in their careers, they are always improving. Year after year, no matter how old they are, or how successful they have already been, they just keep growing. It's crazy.
You just perfectly described the essence of Gergő and the other greats. I totally concur. For me it feels like they were literally born to be music themselves. Constantly evolving, never stopping. Just awesome. Not to speak of the immense inspiration and support they provide to the musician community.

Gergő itt feltette az "i"-re a pontot sok évtizedes és kitartó munkájával. Amit valaki elérhet dobon, mint hangszeren, ebben a pár percben benne van. Ezt az előadást, mindenféle túlzás nélkül, ötvenszer néztem végig és mindahányszor végem lett. Azt kellene mondanom, hogy embertelen, de épp az ellenkezője: nagyon is EMBERI! Ezt a mutatványt talán csak a Zildjian Live-os repertoár múlja felül - persze, ez mind csak egyéni vélemény, a lényegen nem változtat.🙏
