I lost my index finger on my right hand. I like 3 fingered chords up top in the melody. Learning the 16th pattern in bass is awesome. I am a drummer and I played jazz piano as a kid. This has revolutionized my thinking. Life changing brother. Thank you. I love playing in a band when they need a piano tract, jump off drums and help out.

Techniques that allow parallel arms for drumming are just so liberating. It allows an open style drumming that is so free and entails so much power and variety as opposed to the ancient crossed arms - right hand hi-hat process.

I think I've been to New Orleans about a dozen or so times, really I go for the food and the music, just a great town, but I have missed two things that I've always wanted to see there, that silly Ignatius Reilly statue and seeing Stanton Moore playing live.
