This movie was wild even for its time and my parents (mom and stepdad) took me and my little sister to see it. One of her first words was WHASSUP…and because this came out right around the time that was everywhere because those beer commercials, she did it with them during the movie so there’s this barely a toddler in the theater screaming WHASSUP?! If I’m correct she was a little over a year old and everyone laughed when she did it too.

@@KindredKeepsake as long as you have a parent/ guardian with you, you can get into rated R movies. My brother and I saw "jackass 2" when were like 8&10 cause we had our dad's gf with us 😂

We all know that we’re in for some quality entertainment whenever Billy posts his reaction videos. They help us in de-stressing and/or temporarily forgetting the things that causes us to feel down. Scary Movie is a comedy horror film that everyone seems to enjoy watching the most.

I saw this version in the theaters when I was only 6 years old with my best friend for her 6th birthday, I didn't understand any of the jokes and I'm still amazed my movie theater was cool with me and my best friend watching it by ourselves lol

- The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975 original movie vers.!) Remember when you saw Heather in Perks of being a Wallflower and they were performing half naked at a movie theatre - this is the movie!
- Queen of the Damned - not the best vampire movie, but music is great and Aliyah is in it ^^
- Train to Busan - great Korean zombie film
- Zombieland - great horror comedy ^^
- Stories to Tell in the Dark - Goosebumps but for an older audience :)
Well i didn't predict one of the highlights being Billy assuring us his dad isn't a deadbeat lol, dope reaction i never tire of this movie

Scary Movie is basically every stereotype crammed into a horror movie, but the writers were drunk and high when writing it. And I love it.
This first movie is definitely my favorite. Also, since you mentioned it, you should totally watch 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' some time #bingers. I only watched it a few months back because I wasn't born when it came out and it was nowhere to be seen for most of my life around here. Now it's already one of my favorite thrillers and I would love to see your reaction on it (especially because I haven't seen many people do that one yet).

I remember we rented this at a sleepover in middle school when it just came out and we were dying and grossed out lol. And the parents had no idea what the movie was cause of the title…crazy what we got away with in the 00s
a little fun fact: the guy who gets told "I got you on camera", is a Canadian actor by the name of Ted Cole. Cole has not only done live action work but has been well known for his voice acting career in animation and Anime dubs, one of his best known roles being Yamcha in Dragonball Z ( I kid you not). I think he ended up as an extra because the production was filmed around Vancouver.

The ending to scary movie is a homage to the ending of The Usual Suspects starring Kevin spacey.
These styles of parody movies were only ever good when they first came out. Afterwards, every other parody movie did the exact same thing, and added no flavor. Sure, it's good to give actors and crews jobs. But that style of comedy was played out to death, and nobody knew how to do it effectively anymore. It got deconstructed to the point where they started making pop culture references without trying to make them funny. They all started going stale and people lost interest. Thank God they finally died. Because they will never be as good as they were in the early 2000's.

There are a TON of jokes in this film that are still hilarious to this day. I still lose it at the whole "Oh my God we hit a boot!" "Where's the foot?!" exchange.
Sadly "parody" films are such garbage now for the most part and a lot of that has to do with the non talent that is Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. Those two hacks have put out the worst parody films ever made period.
