Fu is a great character. Huge respect. A hero and a great warrior fighting to the end to defend his friends and ideals. Similarly, Buccaneer.
When Fu was dying, Ling was having an emotional moment and Rob had that look on his face like he was rolling his eyes I literally just put my hand over him like, whatever dude you're banished from my version of this reaction
Yeah, I was like what's with that look?? One of his loyal comrades just died and he couldn't do anything about it....He has all this amazing power and strength now and yet, it still wasn't enough :\
@@lalalalisa41 Him crying out for help kinda plays on the answer the truth receives towards the end of the series. He has pretty much the height of alchemic power in his body but the only way he know how to save Fu was by reaching out to others for aid, even if it was too late. It ties into Greeds personality as the only homonculus with friends as we see way back when, in Baschool.

Yeah it wasn't a smart move on fu's part, but it's possible he couldn't pull the fuses with his shirt on. And to be fair, nobody but Bradley could have stopped the blast like that.
Edit: I meant taking the shirt off, not the whole thing. If he could have jumped on Bradley without Bradley realizing he was a bomb that would have been better, but like I said, not necessarily possible.

Bradley took Greed's friends, Greed took Bradley's ultimate eye.
And yet, it still took an act of divine intervention to kill him after he solos the entire main cast. Bradley a beast

you can't get close to Bradley and think you will have time to light a fuse, you'd be dead before you took your shirt off. In close combat it takes two of them just to hold him off. How do you propose Fu get close to him and have time to take off his shirt and light the fuse. That's not happening. The plan would have failed no matter what with Bradley's ultimate eye

Nah I believe they meant "Why didn't Fu light the fuse on the bombs with his shirt and not scream and reveal his now not so secret suicide bomb"
Even if they didn't mean that, Fu could've kept 2 bombs on his chest and held two lit bombs in his HANDS so that Bradely can't line them all up or, if need be, Fu could throw the bombs. Sadly he didn't pull any of the above off and failed instead.
@@HavikRPG what were you watching? He just thought up the suicide plan. He didn't show up with the intention to kill himself. Bradley was right there in front of them ...so you're suggesting he would stand there while Fu takes out some grenades in each hand and light them up and then run towards him? And that it would even make a difference? Several soldiers tried to shoot the man not long ago and he dodged all the bullets and cut them down in the blink of an eye. I'm not sure your plan is very realistic

@@HavikRPG That's not a suicide vest, that's just where he kept several explosives. Rather than pull them out, he just lit the fuses. It was an impromptu attempt: total improvisation on his part.

Normally saying it took two hits to kill something would be bragging about your strength but considering what Bradley can do, saying it took two hits from him plus a few minutes maybe before Buccaneer finally died says a whole lot about just how tough the Captain actually was.

Look I love Buffy fight choreography (season 2 near the end on) but there are things you can do in anime that are genuinely incredible and this series, along with Bebop, Hakouoki and Samurai Shamploo personify that fact.
Theories fun as always. Going to have to dig through the channel see if I recognize some other reactions. Too fun to miss. Yeah really suspenseful Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Psycho Pass have that kind of feel. As does Buffy/Angel. Babylon 5 certainly steps up on that at times.
