- In this video I attempt to glue back the screen on my Acer x35 curved monitor. Screen peeling is common with curved monitors, and while you should file a warranty claim if you can, for those who cannot this video is for you.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but my display comes off after a few days. After applying the glue, I use rubber clamps, clamp it down and leave it for a few days. I use the exact same glue as you.
I tried with epoxy glue with toothpick, and it did the job! The worst part was removing the remaining sticker from the monitor.
Thx, man. Same crap just happened to me. Your vid helped a lot.
Thanks for the tip here! Have a Samsung that had bad popping out, about 1.5" from the middle of screen. This glue worked like charm.
Im gonna try this tomorrow with my Samsung Odessey G7 .... Never curved again ! And Never Samsung again ...
Hey, did it work for you?
@@TommyS04 No... press to hard to clamp... so screen broke. Bought now the new neo with flat screen. Never again curved NEVER haha
I am on the same boat as you, I have the G5 and the screen peeling off, and I still have my year warranty. I don't know what to do cause the value of money is not enough to buy a better screen with as good specs as Odyssey 😢
@@stephantonnekreek6177 Actually Samsung Odyssey is too curved its 1000R. X35 is tad bit curved.
Thanks for the video, I never considered to repair my monitor myself but now I am, but can I ask how much glue exactly did you use? I'm afraid to overuse my glue and end up with spludges on the inside lol
My glue went over the panel 💪🏻🤣
Just an observation, but placing the monitor "screen down" wouldn't help with the adhesion.
I would have let gravity do the work here and lay the monitor facing up.
That way the screen/panel sits better into the adhesive.
Thanks for the vid anyway, I need to do this to my Samsung too.
Thank you sir. Im going to try on my g7 tomorrow
Thanks dude. Have the same issue. Purchased the glue.
thanks, your video was very helpful
I had the same thing my Asus warranty replacement monitor had the same issue!
Thanks Sir u save my Life
hi bro i need to know if the glue still holding ?????,because i have the same probleme in my odyssey g5 and i want to use B-7000 glue like you tnx
Still holding good. No issue son my end
@@JCustom tnx ,if i leave it like that without using glue ,could something happen to it? I need to know tnx bro :)
@@chetov3162 the whole screen will eventually peel off, it should be taken care of asap
@@sandmoonky that’s bs my g5 screen is like that for over a year now no problems at all
@@Captainss460 hey bro , and now Does it still hold? Without glue, are there screws on the sides that prevent the screen from coming off completely?
Is that a protective film??
thanks bro same with my g7
Update… it worked! I removed the bad glue on the middle, applied glue on the exposed foam seal as much as possible, don’t be scared of the glue if you use the B7000, the tip does help a lot then put a towel or cloth on top and then use a pin cloth or a spring clamp for carfts and leave it for a few hours. Remove and voila!
@@eachurban7507 still working? I tried it with bison instant glue and it got lose again after 1 day
man, any update after six months? is the monitor still ok? do you recommend the treatment?
I'd figure this has to do with the heat output of the device. How'd you get that Vesa adapter for the back of your monitor to add more space to it?
currently having this issue and notice the video is a year old, did the glue hold up over time?
yes it is still holding up just fine.
hi my monitors has similar issue but its really really small . can i just ignore it or this can damage something in the long rung because i dont have a backup monitor to send this away for a fix and as i said its really small
So I tried this and now I have glue running down my monitor rip
Can I add super glue on it but I have aoc monitor
I left my monitor for so long just being lazy and i just taped it up lmao but i took the tape off and now the gap at points are about half an inch i wonder if i do this and itll be a tough fix or not lmao fml 😂
Do you think will work with a Odyssey G6?
i don't see why its not worth a shot
hwo long did it last, happened today on my samsung g5
It's still together so it worked out.
@@JCustom did the same and it worked like a charm! only i used T7000 cause its black i have no marks! Cheers mate
Thank you you help me alot ❤
