I’m just now learning about this cotton cloud thing and think my daughter would love it. I think pins or tack are the way to go! I also thought maybe duct tape would work, but tacks would probably be way better.
You did a amazing job with that and your guide was simple and to the point!!! Love it! What did you do when hiding your wires. I dont see the wires hanging for the plugs or the LEDs.
Omg I’m soooo glad I watched this because I’m at trial 2 (and I don’t want to think about how many hours ). I was about to take the loss but yours IS a vibe ! You said six hours putting up the Polly Fill? I mean, what’s six more hours ?! 🥲😭😂😂. What are your thoughts about pre-gluing some of the cloud on the poster board before I put it on the ceiling ? Do you feel like that could work ? TIA
Unless you already have a spider problem this won’t attract spiders, I didn’t have any bug/spider issues but if you do want a preventative measure you can spray the corners of your ceiling and the polyfill with a water/peppermint oil mix
It was the gorilla glue spray adhesive, it's linked in the description box. I actually did take it down after about 6/7 months because I moved and there was no damage at all, I didn't keep the LED lights but they still worked after removing
I didn’t have any AC vents on my ceiling but you can always just not put the poly fill on top of them, with the extra poly fill you won’t notice the space
I did mine last night and thumb tacks were a nightmare; the walls were fine but on the ceiling it sucked. Constantly falling out. If I redo it I will use a staple gun for sure

I saw you had gotten 2 20 pound Poly Fils, is it worth just grabbing 2 5 pounds instead? I know you said you only used 10 so I wanted to know if I should get the extra just in case
wait this is definitely a fire hazard right? this looks so cute but i’ve heard that because of the polyfill people became extremely sick bc of all the dust and stuff and couldn’t sleep at night so if i’m gonna do this i’m probably gonna do a little part of my room haha
This was a rental, I’ve actually moved since then, so I would do it the exact same way, everything came down super easy after having it up for about 6 months and the ceiling wasn’t damaged at all and the thumbtack holes are so small you don’t see them
To whoever is reading this Jesus loves you and he’s coming soon. All you need to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins was buried and came back to life on the 3d day. Confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you’ll be saved! I hope to see you in the clouds! God bless!l
I spray the adhesive directly onto the polyfill and then attach it to the poster board. Make sure to hold it for a few seconds to make sure it’s attached and you can always go back and add more spray adhesive. Hope that helps
Honestly after 6 months mine didn’t go out, I would honestly just invest in quality led lights but I put less polyfil over the lights in case I needed to change them out
I think when she recorded the video, she wasn't thinking about it. I truly believe that she realized this when she was editing the video, and by then, it's too late to do anything about it. Because that part of the video was done. 🤷🏽♀️
I used duct tape last night and it fell down, thumb tacks is smart af thank you lol

wowww you killed that girll!!!
Wow…that is fire!!!
You did a amazing job with that and your guide was simple and to the point!!! Love it! What did you do when hiding your wires. I dont see the wires hanging for the plugs or the LEDs.
thanks so much, I'm glad you found it helpful, I used the clips that came with the lights to hide the wires on the ceiling
@@dionnecharmae how did you turn them on at the end do you just have the thing to turn them on somewhere?
Quick question ❓ how would you clean all the "clouds" ? I mean they will get dusty after a while 🤔🤔
This was a good video 🔥🔥
Great video I'm trying this soon! Also I love the DM shirt ❤️ 💙
Looks cool!
yo the way you started this video makes me wanna be ur bestie ngl. also perfect job with the d.i.y a for sure sub in my book ❤
Super Creative! Thank you for sharing!
Your bedroom is built like mine so it's way easier to visualize 🥳
Hunnnnnmn that would be the day id have to let my head breathe
This looks like a fire hazard? Also crazy how soft your ceiling is!
led lights dont usually reach a heat to light a fire but it does get warm
Good morning this looks awesome, I'm looking to do this in my classroom, what did you use to stick the lights to the ceiling ?
If I’m not doing my entire ceiling do you think I need just the 32 ft lights or get the 65
Omg I’m soooo glad I watched this because I’m at trial 2 (and I don’t want to think about how many hours ). I was about to take the loss but yours IS a vibe ! You said six hours putting up the Polly Fill? I mean, what’s six more hours ?! 🥲😭😂😂.

Thanks so much! I wanna do this in my gaming area when I move to my new apartment! We'll see if I can convince a friend to come over and help 😂
Yes definitely get a friend to help, it’ll go much faster
thank you so much i love how you ... well say the materials that you use very help full
What if you have an AC vent? Do you cover that too?
I wouldn’t cover it only because it will make your room extremely hot, I would just go around it
I wanna do this in my room, but I'm worried about the spiders layin eggs and stuff... Do you know how to prevent it?
I heard that if you absolutely have to, you can use peppermint essential oils
Unless you already have a spider problem this won’t attract spiders, I didn’t have any bug/spider issues but if you do want a preventative measure you can spray the corners of your ceiling and the polyfill with a water/peppermint oil mix
Which cotton is the best to use
What is the name of the spray adhesive? Did it damage the lights? Or wall when taking it down?
It was the gorilla glue spray adhesive, it's linked in the description box. I actually did take it down after about 6/7 months because I moved and there was no damage at all, I didn't keep the LED lights but they still worked after removing
Love this video, thanks for the tutorial!
No problem! I’m glad it was helpful
What about ac vents how do you work around them
I didn’t have any AC vents on my ceiling but you can always just not put the poly fill on top of them, with the extra poly fill you won’t notice the space
how do you protect the cloud from dust?
Seriously I wanna ask this
@@meharchannal3900 I just use an air duster on mine and then any little polyfil that falls I just glue back on
Doesnt this attract alot dust and makes it alot stuffier and warmer idk jus askingM
How much in total
are you using the cheap RGB lights with a remote? or the expensive RGB lights to control effects from your phone.
my LED lights can be controlled from my phone, this will work with any LED lights though, mine were around $40-50
i just did my ceiling for my gaming living room. I'll show it on my channel soon. And Yes DAMN YOU ARE FINE :)
What apart do you use to get the clouds on threre?
Hi, did u put the filling on top of the lights or like just around them? It looks like the lights are blinking through the filling
I put it on top of the lights
Does it drop particles ? I want to put inside my print room where my printers are but afraid of particles.
I did mine last night and thumb tacks were a nightmare; the walls were fine but on the ceiling it sucked. Constantly falling out. If I redo it I will use a staple gun for sure
So when it collects dust how do Clean it? Do you just replace it?
It honestly doesn’t collect dust, after about 6 months some of the polyfill will start to sag and you just put more spray adhesive on them
Good job!!!
Thank you!!
Imagine the spiders/bugs that will live in that
Cute and creative. How was the air quality in the room??? Did it get stuffy/dusty over time???
It was fine, I didn’t notice a change at all, it was never stuffy and the polyfill didn’t make the room dusty either!
Don't these attract and hold lots of dust? I really like the look, but is it practical? Can someone please help shed some light on this? Thank you :)

hey, no never! I took it down because I moved into another place but there weren't any bugs at all or spiders, you should definitely do it!
You a baddie🔥

I’m doing this because my ceiling is ugly 😅 it’s my parents house and it’s about 12 years old and this looks so good

I saw you had gotten 2 20 pound Poly Fils, is it worth just grabbing 2 5 pounds instead? I know you said you only used 10 so I wanted to know if I should get the extra just in case
You would probably be okay with just the 10lbs because you can pull the polyfil apart a lot thinner than I did
@@dionnecharmae gotcha thank you!
wait this is definitely a fire hazard right? this looks so cute but i’ve heard that because of the polyfill people became extremely sick bc of all the dust and stuff and couldn’t sleep at night so if i’m gonna do this i’m probably gonna do a little part of my room haha
How did you stick the LED lights??
They have adhesive on them, so you just pull off the paper to expose the sticky side and just attach them directly to the poster board
what are the dimensions of your ceiling?
Now how would i accomplish this safely in an apartment..?
She did it in an apartment
Now how do i do this in my rental
This was a rental, I’ve actually moved since then, so I would do it the exact same way, everything came down super easy after having it up for about 6 months and the ceiling wasn’t damaged at all and the thumbtack holes are so small you don’t see them
Why doesnt anyone out the cotton on the boards before putting it on the ceiling? It seems like it would be so much easier that way.
what is the spray your using to make it stick and what is the cotten thing called
polyfil and spray adhesive, check out all of the products in the description box
Yo my girl what's suppining I'm gonna do my self this let's see how it comes out thanks
You have a lot of patience but this looks great!
i already have my led lights up is it okay if i still do it ?
Yes you just put the polyfill over top
Hows it holding up no fires or issues?
No issues at all, after 6 months some small pieces will start to dangle but I just use spray adhesive and put them back up
What spray did you use?
Gorilla Glue
If you dont mind, what was the total?? Movin into my first crib..
Nvm looked in description thank you!
Glad I could help!
What if you have a ceiling fan 😖
Just posted a new video of doing this on my wall because my new place has a ceiling fan

how many boards did you use?
I used 24, but purchased a 25 pack, it’s linked in the description
Where did u get your cotton
Off Amazon, there is a link in the description box
Does it collect a lot of dust ?
No not at all
I did just exactly the same you did and the polly film keep falling, what's the secret ???
I spray the adhesive directly onto the polyfill and then attach it to the poster board. Make sure to hold it for a few seconds to make sure it’s attached and you can always go back and add more spray adhesive. Hope that helps
no insects?
What is the cloud stuff called???
It’s called Polyfill
Can this decoration be done under a canopy
What spray adhesive?
It was the gorilla glue spray adhesive, it's linked in the description box
That’s sick might try that thanks
what happens when the led lights give out and dont work anymore ? the hassle to remove it all and replace it has to be alot
What 10 hours or so? Definitely worth it in my book.
Honestly after 6 months mine didn’t go out, I would honestly just invest in quality led lights but I put less polyfil over the lights in case I needed to change them out
how many cloud stuff did u buy
I bought a 20lb box and only used half of it

If you used glue sticks it would've been less time and the chances of the polyfil dropping is slim to none.
