    I constantly have music playing. I play 70's 80's normally. I also sing or hum. My patients love it. Music makes me happy. Therefore it makes them happy. I am a happy person which makes many patients happy. When I worked with other hygienists they did not ever want to work on certain patients because they were rude or mean...I loved these types of patients. I looked past their gruffness and irritability and made them end up laughing. Sometimes you just have to push past that ego, or nervousness etc. They end up being my best patients.

    Hi Andrea, I love your videos, it inspires me. I am planing to get in dental hygiene program. However, before that I wanted to have some really experience in dental office, but I have no certificate or education to find a dental related job. Do you know how a student can find a job in dental office without the certificate? Thank you so much.

      Could you do a video on how to handle patients with lots of anxiety

    Why is someone labeled as “they’ll be to quiet” because they’re brand new and nervous ? “Not allowed” to take a short break if you’re brand new but you can if you’re not brand new??

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  2 года назад +3

      I would say its because you want to make a good first impression. If someone takes a million breaks during their first shift, I would be worried they couldn't handle the job

      @@dentalelle I’m not sure who would take more than necessary breaks or more than they’re given but I guess apparently people like that exist.

      Harmonies G. There are so many dentist out there, you can do this! The dental world has been prepared for a pandemic for YEARS! All of your “standard precautions”, that you learned in school, apply to this new pandemic! The only change you should make is....you will wear a mask all day, instead of changing between every patient. Nothing else changed! Apply what you know, don’t wait, you could lose your skills....that you learned in school! (Instructor for 10+ years, with years of experience)

      The field is thirsty for help right now. After everything went down in 2020 a LOT of people who had been in their positions for a long time simply retired. There’s a lot of need for new blood. I’m excited to get started next week, and I’m not even done with the training school yet!
