    I’ve been to a couple interviews already, And most interviews aren’t that very question like type of interviews. Especially if it is a private office it’s always the doctor themselves interviewing you. I have the experience but in my last job you have to be registered to do crowns and impressions so I have no experience with that but I always tell them I’m willing to learn if you’d teach me and stuff and it’s already happened 4 times, how do I get the job if I don’t fully have enough experience that they’re requiring?

    • @dentalelle
      @dentalelle  Год назад

      That’s a good question! Measuring the perio pockets is number one because that’s the best way to determine the level of periodontal disease. It’s good to take x-rays, it’s good to look at the general condition of the gums (bleeding, puffy, plaque levels, etc)…hope that helps!

    • @XxAlex530xX
      @XxAlex530xX 6 лет назад +1

      Brian Lopez hey brother I would suggest to learn the basics terminology of dentistry. Learn about the tooth numbers, anatomy of the mouth, dental x-rays, etc. If you want to specialize in one specific dental field then do your research on it. You should consider getting a job as a dental assistant, that what I did and I learned a lot! My dentist was specialized so he did tons of surgeries that I had not even know existed. We even use a Lazer in some procedures.

      @@dentalelle Yes, I told them at least 14 and hopefully 16. They did not give me anything to work with but I know they will lowball me if I don't ask for a decent amount. She said it depends on the person because people have experience from 1 year to 20 years. They must have a range though. You can't budget to hire someone without planning.

      indeed has dental assisting jobs in my city hiring from 11.40 to 21.00 with the average being 15.88 an hour. All the other jobs have he pay range next to them except 2 the ortho assistants, which requires two years of experience minimum. I applied only for general practice jobs.
