    This is the only video that demonstrates what you need to do when using a mighty hoop with your Ricoma and understanding how to install them and how to use the hoop sizing on the machine to match your mighty hoops. It’s a month since I got my machine and until now I’ve not been able to figure out how to work with then. I cannot thank you enough! I told Ricoma they did not do this in their training and I

    Great video. I'm still unclear how to set up the embroidery parameters for the hoops

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  8 месяцев назад

      Hello, Ive never changed my parameters. I use the letter that closely matches my hoops. For example my most common mighty hoop is the 5.5x5.5, I'll use letter C which closely matches it. If Im using the 10x10 hoop, I'll use letter E. As long as your design fits in your hoop, you can choose the closest hoop size and trace to verify. Any questions let me know.

    • @gapeach30316
      @gapeach30316 8 месяцев назад

      @@RomeroThreads some kind of way my D hoop parameters are not accurate. Whenever I do a trace the design field is way smaller then the hoop and using the E hoop parameters is way bigger. I just need to know what numbers go in the D hoop parameters to make it work again

    Hey Romero, just got the Mighty Hoops for the EM1010. So for example i use the hoops that came with the machine. And its all centered. And when i use the mighty hoops and i pick the hoop size thats closest to it. But its not centered. Would you suggest changing the X/Y axis for center or just manually center it everytime you use the mighty hoops?

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  7 месяцев назад

      The machine probably needs to get centered on the pantograph. If it’s a small difference to the center, I would just manually center it. The hoops are centered so if the machine is center the hoops will be centered.

    YOU SHOWED the measurement of the 13 x 4.25 hoop, but no mention of the hoop choice on the control panel. I have called RICOMA 6 times for what hoop do I select to stitch vertical in this hoop? I have the yoke of a jacket and i'm stitching down the hoop. I have the words on the screen correctly, but no hoop seems to work. I need help, but this video is 2 years old so, i'm probably still out of luck. I'm asking anyway. I have the garment installed in the hoop, but don't know the right hoop.

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  5 месяцев назад

      I would use hoop E, but you have to make sure the design fits the hoop, and you trace 3 times.

    What would cause registration error with the Mighty Hoop? When I use the hoops that come with my Ricome MT 1501 my design comes out as it should, but when I use the Mighty Hoop the design comes out incorrect. Spaces where there shouldn't be or stitching to close to other stitching

    you seem to be the smartest guy on youtube about embriodery so i hope you can answer this issue im having an issue my ricoma mt-1501 machine not holding thread after sewing a color after color change dont know if i acidently touched a setting or if was the software change from wilcom to croma ?

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  Год назад

      Ok very odd situation. What I would check is the entire thread path make sure it isn’t jamming up somewhere (if its happening on one specific needle). And check above the bobbin area, the cutter, make sure its clean, and check picker, that its clean. Other than that, check the tension, make sure it isn’t pulling to tight on the top tensions. It definitely isn’t a digitizing software issue, its a machine set up. Hope this helps a bit.

    How do you change the hoop size in the machine settings? My "C" hoop says 130 x 130 on the machine but on the hoop it's self it says 150 x 150. Will I have to worry about changing the size when using the 5.5" Mighty Hoop? GREAT CONTENT!!

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 года назад

      I have never changed any of my hoop parameters. You just have to make sure your design fits inside the hoop and trace your design before pushing start. Hoop C with the 5.5 mighty hoop is what I always use. Thanks for the comment.

      Very good question, thanks. My 1st customers was friends and family, then it shifted to word of mouth. Now, we work w/ certain company's on contract orders, fulfilling their employees orders. So the methods have shifted over the years.

    hello, I have a 5.5 x 5.5 mighty hoop. Do you have a tutorial on how to use the "other" option in the hoop category so I can perfectly match it on the system instead of tapping on hoop C which is a few inches shorter than my mighty hoop. I hope my question make sense lol.

    • @RomeroThreads
      @RomeroThreads  2 года назад

      What I would do is select hoop D, but you have to be super careful and trace 3 times before stitching. Usually hoop C is pretty close and has always worked for us.
